I'm in the minority that find these shoes outright uncomfortable even painful. There is zero cushioning. Zero. Plenty of support, and they may be great for the back, but I work 12 hour shifts on concrete. By 6 hours in, the entire bottom of my foot felt bruised. I then had to spend the next 6 hours walking on raw bruises. For comparison, Borns are also not cushioned enough for me, but I love Merrells.

Caution to those with low anklebones and high instep! The heel sits low, so I feel a slight rub at the ankles. Also, my instep is high, so my foot looks pillowed in the window (between the toes and the strap). If I loosen the strap, my heel slips. But even with the strap looser, I feel tightness at the top of my foot by the toe box with every step. Bought these shoes elsewhere before I discovered Zappos. That means I can't return them without paying shipping and a restocking fee because they were on sale. Eek! I have to do what I really didn't want to do: break them in and hope for the best. Never buying anywhere but Zappos again!

I'm shocked and confused at the great reviews this shoe has gotten. 1. Style is pretty ugly (I got size 10, I usually wear 9.5 but had a feeling 9.5 would be too small ). I felt I was wearing a boat of a shoe. 2. Definitely appears to need breaking in. I don't believe a shoe that is this price should require any breaking in! 3. These would look great if you work in a circus environment. Hubby and I had a good laugh when I tried them on.

I love these shoes. I work at a school and can be on my feet all day in comfort, no complaining from my bunion. I always get compliments when I wear these, even from the students.

I love these shoes! I am a restaurant manager and server - I run around all day. Even after 12 hours my feet are still happy! I had plantar fasciitis and bought my first pair of Alegria (Paloma) and it disappeared! I went for the lower profile Feliz for my second pair. I can't say enough great things for those looking for a decent looking workhorse! And with Zappos you are assured a perfect fit with their amazing return policy!

I love these shoes. I get compliments on them everyday. They fit pretty well but I have really hard feet to fit. The back really rubs my ankle. I know other styles have padding back there. Maybe that should be extended to all styles. One issue is that the right shoe started buckling near the toes after a couple of weeks of wear. It seems to be smoothing out but was quite uncomfortable at first. I am on my feet a lot at work and these really have helped with foot pain.

I take a 39 in the Paloma's, but these are huge on me. And it's not the width (Paloma's are wider. My heel slips when I walk in them. That said, I love the style and wish they were available in a 38 in lots of colors. The style (more narrow) is a better look and fit for me than the Paloma. Unfortunately, none are in stock. :( Am returning these and hoping for 38s soon!

Ran big. Also the closure strap was way too far forward allowing the heel to constantly slip off requiring toes to grip all the time in an effort to keep them on wearing out my feet and legs in a really short time. Think the company must have figured this out because I think they may have discontinued this style and made the corrections in the second generation called the Belle. (I plan to give the Belle a try.) Have other Alegria shoes and love them. Wish I had not wasted my money on this pair of Feliz.
