I love these shoes, but they do run about 1 size small, at least for me. I had to return them twice before I got the right size. They are very comfortable, stay on well, have good support and cute.

Great shoes for Those with Arthritis I suffer from arthritis and peripheral neuropathy and have had to give up wearing stylish shoes in favor of comfortable shoes. Even many so-called comfortable shoes are painful to wear for those of us with arthritis. I had resigned myself to a lifetime of trying to formalize my many pairs of Birkenstocks. However, I loved the look of the Alegria shoes and jumped at the chance to try them. These shoes are wonderful for sore feet and joints. The rocker motion helps propel you in a forward motion and help keep your feet from pronating awkwardly. They are lushly cushioned and have just enough arch support for my high arches. I find myself walking more and getting the exercise I need to fight the effects of this disease. And, there are so many styles to choose from that I can accessorize any outfit I want. I can't say enough good things about these shoes. If anyone out there is suffering from arthritis and is continually on the hunt for comfortable, yet stylish shoes, Alegria is the brand for us! And, as always, Zappos is the best!

First time wearing Alegria and they are amazing...really comfortable and can walk in them all day.

I have several pair of Alegria which I bought a couple years ago. I previously bought the Donna so thought I would try these. The leather is much stiffer on these and not sure I like them will try them for a week and see. I am an ICU nurse so on my feet for 12 hours and like to wear heavy socks with my shoes. Which I could with the Donna's.

Definitely felt a half size smaller. I normally wear 7-7.5 (37) but had to ship these back and get 8-8.5 (38). They are adoreable and worth the wait!

Extremely comfortable shoes that I can wear without my orthotics. Great support for my arthritic L foot. They are so cute and I get many complements. I now have 5 pair of Alegria shoes!

I have the Golden Girl Alegria "Classic" with the fuzzy lining and I am in love. These offer instant comfort with slip-on ease and a totally wonderful color. These are the kind of shoes that you look down at your feet and smile. The arch support is much better than most shoes and there's a lot of cushioning in the sole.

These are the prettiest Alegrias on the market. They are warm but not overly hot since the fur is on the top of the inside, not the bottom.

I love these funky shoes. The size is a bit wider than a normal size 7. I will buy another pair in the peace pattern. They are so cool!

These are truly the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I stand all day for work so I need comfy shoes and these are it. They have GREAT arch support for high arches, a molded footbed that is very supportive but also they are very cushiony, not hard. Plus, I get a ton of compliments on them.

Love these shoes, have gotten a lot of compliments from nurses and other professionals on them. Very comfortable. Great for people who have heel spurs like myself who need clogs. Very cushiony and comparable to Dansko shoes, only with more cushion. Great buy!

This shoe has a funky, clunky look (the clunky look isn't helped when you wear a size 9). I immediately thought they were so ugly they were cute. My husband just thinks they are ugly. However, when I put the shoes on my feet, they said "ahhhhh", so I really don't care what anyone else thinks. The details on the top of the shoe are very pretty. The arch support is heavenly. This is my first time with this brand, and I will definitely get another pair. Great for feet on the wide side.

Ridiculously comfortable - I walk a couple of miles a day in these. They are not stylish or the least bit sexy, they are essentially orthopedic shoes for bears but they are a comfy treat for your feet.

I have two pairs of this shoe, one in plain brown suede lined with sheepskin, and the one shown above, which is, maybe a bit too snazzy for me...but I love it anyway. If you're thinking about ordering it, bear in mind that it is much brighter and more glittery than it looks on the page, and the colors show differently in different lights. In some lights, they look kind of gold or orange-y. Outdoors, they are a lovely dark red and green. But the shoe itself: heaven. I have flat feet, and I also had a series of dreadful knee surgeries in recent years. I went through many pairs of shoes before this one (and Zappos exchanged them all without a single murmur!), knowing I'd end up going back to Alegria, which I already had a couple of pairs of. They are supportive, well-balanced, they kind of cradle the foot and I feel safe in them, which is important, because my balance is bad after all these surgeries. The sheepskin lining is great, because they are not made in narrow, which I need...but between the buckle and the lining, I can make them fit fairly well. Even with all the cool patterns, these are not glamorous shoes. At my age, I don't care. And I suspect that if I were a twenty-something again, they would be in the category of my old Birkenstocks, i.e., cute-ugly. So if you're into practicality and heavenly comfort, I recommend these. By the way, I bought the "Pesce," and sent it back because it didn't seem to fit as well as the clog styles, even with the wonderful rocker bottom. I can't explain this, but thought I'd mention it. Overall, though, Alegrias are great shoes. I'm giving four stars for comfort and style only because I want them to start making these shoes in narrow, and because this particular patterns is a bit more over-the-top than as pictured.

Great shoe, perfect for my multiple foot issues (most importantly the need for a rocker sole). Loved the Copper Multi mule - but had to return them because of inconsistencies re one shoe vs. the other. In this case, there were shiny "speckles" on the left shoe and none on the right. Had a similar issue with the Golden Girl - two completely different patterns on the shoes. Unfortunately I had worn them outdoors before I noticed that they didn't look alike! So, be prepared to scrutinize Alegria patterned shoes when you receive them because quality control isn't!

I love these shoes, I've always had so much foot/leg/back pain because of ill fitting shoes, I would hate to say how much money I've wasted on trying to find shoes that feel good as well as look good. After I received my first pair of Alegria's, I have no interest in shopping for shoes anymore! They were so comfortable right from the start, and I've pretty much been wearing them every day since I ordered them. I ordered my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly, and the color was true to the picture on Zappos. I will be ordering another pair of these shoes (possibly more)!

Yet another great shoe from Alegria! I have a large collection of these shoes and adding the lining to them makes them a great "winter" shoe! The lining is the perfect thickness to allow socks or bare feet and still be warm. I will continue to count on Zappos to feed my shoe addiction. One more thing - as usual, these darlings arrived within 24 hours of ordering and THAT is the customer service beyond compare.

Gone are the days of high heels, so I have decide if I have to wear super-supportive shoes, I might as well have fun with it! These shoes fit great, have plenty of room in the toe box, and are very supportive. Despite Alegria's write-up about how they make their sole, I think there could be a bit more padding in the heel area. These clogs are quite "loud" in terms of the pattern - it really is as iridescent as what you see on screen, almost mirror-like. I do love them, and they look good with jeans. They are not for everyone, though, I am sure, and I would not wear them with a skirt.

These are the best shoes I own! I have diabetes neuropathy and was very nervous about buying clogs, I was happy to find I was wrong! I plan on buying them in other colors!

I am a hair stylist and am on my feet all day. I only wear Alegria shoes. I have 7 pairs - sandals, clogs, and Mary janes. I love them all! They have saved my feet and legs, and the styles are so cute ! I never regret spending money on these comfy shoes.

These shoes were comfortable from the minute I put them on. I am on my feet all day and had developed plantar fasciitis. These shoes cured that...I no longer have foot pain. Also, the foot bed is replaceable for only $25.

These are the first pair of shoes I could wear in years without my orthodics. Very comfortable. I get compliments on them all the time!

Best shoes ever! I have a chronic condition that will not allow me to bend my toes and makes my legs very painful. These shoes have stopped the pain. They also fit me perfectly, just like they were made for my foot. I highly recommend Alegria. I have already purchased another pair.

The best pair of everyday, foot comfort shoe you will find! However they seem to have a squeaky break in period. I returned the first pair because the squeak was embarrassingly loud. The second pair became squeaky during the second week of wear. THe squeaks are some what tolerable unless you enter a library, but I will be patient and see if the noise disappears, because they are warm and comfortable and look great with about any Autumn and Winter outfit.
