These shoes are very soft right out of the box. Very comfortable and no break-in required. The most impressive aspect to me is the outsole, amazing slip-resistance on wet surfaces. Even on icy sidewalks, I was just walking normally, while everyone else was cautiously shuffling on the ice. Highly recommend for plant workers who spent a lot of time on their feet on hard floors subject to wet surfaces.

Great shoe, looks great, feels very comfortable, nice cushioning. Runs a bit wider than average.

This is a good looking pair of shoes - but they are horribly uncomfortable. I had to go to First Aid and wrap my ankle just to make it through the day because one of the two was digging into my ankle in the back. It wore a hole in my sock. I thought I would give Timberland a second try - the last pair of safety toe Timberlands - the sole cracked. I wore this new pair one day at work - so I am stuck with them. Maybe I can stretch the one shoe out. Overall, these shoes do not appear to be built very well.

These are a great pair of shoes. The leather is thick and soft. The shoes are sturdy and the rubber sole holds to the ground. They are very comfortable right out of the box.

Be careful with Timberland shoes, they’ve cheapened their construction - have a pair where they faked the upper being stitched to the sole, instead choosing to glue it. After being worn only a few times, it came apart at the heel and Timberland won’t honor because I bought the new shoes on Amazon instead of Timberland.

Nice steel toe shoes. This is the second time I bought them, and the first ones lasted over 3 years, wearing them a few times a week. They are pretty comfortable to wear all day, especially after they break in. They look good for work or after work, and don't appear to be a steel toe. The only issue I've had is some inconsistency with the molds of the footbed. I've had to send back a couple that didn't feel right.

For a steel toe shoes, this maybe the best shoes yet. It is super comfortable. For those people with high arch may require additional arch support, but insole cushion is soft and my feet are not tired after wearing them all day long. I've had other brands' steel toe boots/shoes before, but those shoes never fit quite right and stores never carries 'W' size to fit my feet in correct shoes. Zappos are truly great in this aspect since they will let me know real-time online if that particular shoes have my size in their stock.

Excellent shoe so far! I work in distribution center environments, mostly in the food industry. This requires long amounts of time in large freezer warehouses. I have had trouble with many different shoes in the past cracking along the sole due to the extreme cold. So far, these shoes have held up to the test and are comforable to boot!

Very comfortable and stylish enough to wear them in the office instead of loafers! Makes job site visits much easier without having to bring a pair of extra boots.

I made a good decision buying these shoes. They fit well, are comfortable, have good traction and work very well as steel-toed shoes.

If I had my choice, I wouldn't purchase safety toe shoes. I normally wear 9-1/2 D width, but the safety toe requires me to purchase wide.size. The wider width accommodates my toes in the restricted toe area. The wider fit is perfect, and comfortable. These are probably the most comfortable safety toe shoes available, and style is probably as good as it's going to get. Pretty sure I'll be purchasing these again when they're worn out.

I bought these shoes for my husband to work in and when they came yesterday I tried them on. Now I want a pair, too. The comfort level right out of the box was astounding. Very professional looking and my husband loves them too. I bought the regular width size, and I have wide feet so there is some width there, but my husband will be able to use thick winter socks with them comfortably. I'm glad I got them and am seriously thinking about getting a pair for myself.
