I'm fortunate that my company lets me buy a pair of shoes each year, but truthfully, I'm still using the pair I bought three years ago! I have given my other two pairs to people whose shoes fell apart, and they have each converted to this shoe.
It is true that they scuff easily, but I truthfully bought them for function, and keep buying them due to comfort... I can handle the scuffs.
Warehouse work, standing and walking 4-5 miles a day. I've gotten spoiled and wear them at my weekend job since they are slip resistant; just don't tell!

Overall good fit and comfort, however while walking it makes a swishing noise. sole is non slip but small stones tend to get embedded into it due to sole pattern/design. Excellent customer service from Zappos!

Great shoe. Have worn steel-toed boots for years and these shoes provide very similar support without weight of a boot. Extremely comfortable.

This is my second pair of Timberland PRO safety shoes. Both were comfortable right out of the box and I had no fit or comfort issues with either pair. Color is OK, ankle padding is good, sole is grippy...overall a good work shoe.

These shoes are very comfortable. They're much lighter than a comparable shoe even considering the steel toe. The traction from the sole is unbelievable! I have high arches and the shoes could use a little more arch support so I'll just get some appropriate inserts. I work in retail and I'm on my feet all day every day, I don't like to wear sneakers to work and these are a terrific alternative. Nice enough for meetings and days in the office too.

It took a little getting used to a steel toe in a dress shoe but these shoes are great. So great, in fact, I bought a very similar style in another color. I have had these shoes for over a year and a half now and the all leather uppers are holding up great! The soles are just now starting to wear but still grip the floors great. My only complaint is the laces - I had to replace them early. Overall these are the best non-slip shoes that I have ever owned. I used to burn through three pairs of Skechers a year. Save yourself some money and buy the high quality shoes that will last!

I returned the original shipment because the shoes were too large. I received the replacement pair of shoes the next day. These are excellent shoes. Safety shoes are required for some of the work that I do. But most of the time I am in the office so I wanted safety shoes that do not look like safety shoes. These are perfect. They feature both style and safety!

very nice looking shoes. the right shoe was perfect, the left shoe was smaller, these shoes were not comfortable at all. both were hurting the top back of my heal right at the achilleas tendon almost forming a blister it was worse on the left shoe just after 3 hours wearing them. the left shoe my big toe was hitting the steal at the toe. gonna try another one from timberland if its the same i will stop buying this brand.

The shoe looks good. I think there is a defect in the left shoe. It has a weird bump under the ball of my foot. I'm returning.

I have had these for 6 months... initially they rubbed blisters around the ankles, but after a month they are broke in. Extremely comfortable now, and appear to be holding up well.

I bought this pair in September 2013 and retired them today. The pros: the shoe looks good and is quite durable. I put a lot of miles on them and really put them to the test. The leather upper is tough as nails and the rubber sole really doesn't show any wear. The only thing that failed on the shoe was one of the laces about a year into wearing them. The cons: the shoes are heavy, not the most comfortable if you're doing a lot of walking and the traction is only moderate on concrete. If you don't stand or walk all day these shoes would be fine but if you "pound the pavement all day" you may want a lighter more comfortable shoe. I have to have durability blended with comfort and I appreciate a nice looking shoe - that being said I won't buy another pair of these, I went with a pair of Dr. Martens this time...much more comfortable.

The shoe size was more expansive than expected - felt like my foot was swimming in shoe and not really shaped for a proper foot.

I've worn these shoes for about a year and a half now and have been satisfied with them. These shoes are pretty comfortable considering that try are steel toe shoes. They are relatively light, moderately breathable and definitely nice enough to pull of wearing them in a meeting room as much as on a manufacturing floor. As great as all that is, I do wish they'd lasted me longer than 18 months considering the price tag. I now am in the market for new shoes because my current pair now have a hole in them. In all fairness though I can't ignore the fact that I work in a manufacturing facility so my safety shoes are constantly exposed to a plethora of chemicals, hot water, and other extreme conditions pretty much 10-12 hours a day 5-6 days a week and about 49 weeks a year. Overall it was a very comfortable, lightweight, great looking safety shoe...just wish they had proven to be more durable.

Extremely uncomfortable to break in and didn’t even last a year (wearing only 3 days a week) before it started separating from the sole. Slip resistance and steel toe performed well. Disappointed in this purchase.

The shoe appeared to be well constructed, however upon wearing it, it seemed that the foot bed was out of wack, and my EE width seamed far wider that most EEEs that ive purchased in the past. The fit just did not work for me and the shoe was returned.

Not tough at all. Pieces in the bottom of the sole start coming off immediately. The laces will start to untwine after a week. Overpriced. The die will come off on your white sock on hot days.

These shoes are heavy and uncomfortable, though I kind of expected that for steel toes...the killer problem is that they do not pass ESD testing! I spent a lot of money and still need heel straps to work in ESD protected areas.
