I have always wear Timberland Pro Renova. Unfortunately, this time around when I try to order it again, they only have it in white. So, I decided to give Pro Newbury ESD a try. The leather on Newbury seem a lot harder than Renova. The toe box seems narrower. It was actually quite uncomfortable in the beginning. The ESD insole also take some getting use to. Now, I've had it for over 1 month, it finally felt broken into. However, I still couldn't wait to take it off at the end of the day. Personally, I felt Renova was way more comfortable. I wish they have it in black when I need it.

I wanted these to work. They would be so much better than a boot. But my toes hit the front of the shoe in both my regular size and a half-size up. I think it was the cut of the shoe that was causing this because my big toes didn't touch. But the toes to the curved side of the shoe hit. They felt good except for that. Disappointed.

Nice looking, lightweight shoe but I was only able to wear them for about 2 hours. Then had to take them off...I even tried this twice.

7 was too small, (co-worker had the 7) I ordered the 7 1/2, there is a little room. The problem is my foot keep sliding forward and my toes are touching the front of the shoe. I will not be wearing them a lot, so not a big problem.

While this is a very comfortable shoe and I like the roominess of it, I feel that it doesn't stand up well to the abuse that it takes in a commercial kitchen. I've only had them a month and the leather has already torn and lifted in areas where a fridge door has hit it.

I'm a size 6 and got 6.5 for socks. They don't have sole support. It feels like you are walking on hard surfaces at all time.

I bought my usual size. I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe to try it on. Not "wide" at all. I will order a bigger size.

My feet did not hurt for the first 4 hours. After that excruciating pain. I believe it was also due to my feet. I had to go back to wearing my first pair of safety shoes ever that I purchased here.

I am going to try Sketchers this next order. Stay away from Nautilus!

This is the fourth or fifth pair of these Timberland shoes I've purchased. On my feet 8-10 hours when I wear them and they've always been there for me. The most recent pair however have not: bought them just over a month ago and although they don't need to be broken in, my feet aren't any happier in these than in the older ones that I knew were breaking down inside. Wondering if they are cheapening the product? Or if I'm just getting tired?

I bought these to work in. I am a scenic painter, for theme parks, etc.. The shoes need ot get me through 10 and 12 hr days, often standing on concrete, or climbing scaffolding and ladders. My feet were very sore by day's end, and I think it was due to the inflexible toe box. It must extend too far back along my foot, holding the ball and toes in one rigid position. These shoes would be fine for occasional wear, but not if you need to be on your feet all day.

I am returning these. The anti fatigue technology did not work for my feet and they rubbed the side of one foot making it sore. They are cushioned but the uppers are too stiff. I would rate Zappos six Stars but not the shoes. I am going to try Keens instead.

Like others have commented, PLEASE bring back the RENOVA!! This style doesn't even compare to it. It's Not comfortable, it has a weird bump near the ball of your foot and just doesn't fit well . Never thought I could be hooked on a work shoe as much as the RENOVA . please listen to your customers!

I wore the Renova for years. Why redo them???? It is like someone put a pea right in the middle of the shoe mid foot on this new style. Everything is perfect about these except that. The Renova were the only shoes I ever wore in the operating room. They had a solid toe. You could wipe them off. I've tried multiple sizes and all have that same thing digging into the middle of your foot on the new style. I can't imagine anyone put that on and liked it in testing.

I am a Foot and Ankle Surgeon on my feet all day. This shoe is stiff and the toe is so uncomfortable. I only bought it because Timberland discontinued the Renova Pro shoe. I wore the Renova for many years and had ZERO foot pain. I need the Renova shoe back in production so I can purchase for myself and recommend to my patients, family and colleagues. Timberland, please listen to your valued customers and BRING BACK RENOVA PRO SHOES!

I have worn a log of Timberland shoes in my day and these are the worst. They’re not comfortable meaning they hav zero arch support. They are not true to size and they are not slip resistant like they claim. Luckily I was able to get a refund. I would rate them zero stars if I could.

I wore these for about 1 month hoping to break them in and feel better. But they did take a toll on my feet. I like the slip on and thought it would be better than time my shoes or using Velcro but they just did never feel good on my feet. As I had worn them for a month and gotten them wet and kind of abused them I chose not to return them. But made a mental note that I would not purchase again.

I've owned several pairs of Timberland shoes of this style before and have always had good luck with them. I'm on my feet in a kitchen and they've been much more comfortable than Danskos. This particular style is slightly different than the others I've owned, though the same basic closed back clog-like shoe (the ones I've purchased in the past don't seem to be available anymore and these were the closest to that old style). These shoes hurt my feet so much, I was limping by the end of the day and had foot pain for several days following, even though I had stopped wearing them. They have an anti-fatigue insole and because they were a little big, I put a regular cushion insole on top of that and I was still in tremendous pain. I wish these had worked--they have a wide toe box, which I was looking for and are sturdy and slip resistant, but the pain these caused me was tremendous and surprising so I've sent them back. Glad zappos has such a great return policy.

I CAN NOT answer any of these questions. These are NOT the 1st pair of Timberlands Rejova's I have owned. I am a nurse I have purchased many pair. Unfortunately I can not get these on and I have ordered wide before and had no trouble getting them on. I am NOT happy. I need these for work.

I was really excited to try these shoes. I purchased them because of the trusted name Timberland. I wore them for six hours in the hospital and the heel literally exploded. I have owned nursing shoes for years before without having to replace them. These shoes lasted not even a full day. I would not recommend at all!

Please bring these back with non-alloy toe! Best wearing most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, without alloy toe. Purchased a pair with alloy toe and they are very uncomfortable due to lack of flexibility where toes bend as you walk.

Have arthritis in feet... RENOVA makes walking good.. NEWBURY's changes in style and fit just doesn't work for me. Please bring back RENOVA . Also would like a camel or tan color.

Have had my Pro Renova leather slip ons for a couple of years. Needed to replace and found they were discontinued. Bought the replacement Newbury and they were horrible. So stiff and uncomfortable. No different from the Dansk and Alegria. Returned them. Why would Timberland discontinue the shoe that has 5 stars everywhere? I'm hoping that you listen to the consumer and bring them back.
