The 11 is too large - I would have ordered a smaller size but there is none in stock. They are fabulous if you like this kind of shoe.

These shoes fit my need for a slip-on safety toe shoe that is also "dressy". I have custom orthotics and they fit in the shoes well, but make the top a little tight so I have to wear thinner socks with them. They're comfortable enough to stand in for at least 2-3 hours and are not heavy to walk in. When this pair wears out, I will likely buy another to replace them.

Good solid steel toe shoe. I am able to wear all day comfortably.

I have previously owned this model of Timberland and it came apart at the seem between the leather and the sole. I am hoping the new reinforced seem will eliminate this problem because otherwise, I love this shoe!

I bought this shoe in June 2015. They've been comfortable and are relatively attractive. I've been wearing them about 4 days a week for the last 18 months. I split my time between the office and the manufacturing floor about 50/50. Yesterday the bottom of the right shoe split open. I am disappointed that these didn't last longer. My previous safety shoe was the Arial Expert Saftey Clog with a Composite Toe. I wore it for well over 2 years. I'm not sure if I will return to it or try something else. P.S. I have a never-ending quest for an attractive safety shoe that easily transitions between the office and operations.

This shoe is great but one problem design on shoe peeled off making it look old and worn. I wore the shoes for two weeks and the shoes started peeling. I went to the store to return them but there were no more so i decided to keep them.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I am a RN and have been wearing the Timberland Pro Renova for 3 years now and I love them. Unfortunately, the Renova is no longer being made in black so I am having to shop for new shoes. At first I thought these were the one, but after a while they started to wear on my bunion. Very sad that I will have to continue my search for new shoes.

I bought the 7D. The width is extra wide and the black color leather is nice. However, I didn't like how the shape of the leather was stiff looking in the front.

I don't like these shoes because to me it's like I could never break them in no matter how many times I wore them. Also the heel on them made me roll my ankle and fall down some stairs while I was at work, so I am no longer going to be wearing them. Messed my ankle up pretty good, it's all black and blue. To me they are too unsafe...not enough support around the ankle.

I ordered my usual size and they were to big. I have hammer toes and the rubbing of them on the toe top tore the skin off and had bleeding toes. Only wore once.

Lovely shoe, fit my Dr. Scholls 3/4 length inserts. Runs slightly big - tried both 9 and 9.5, usually I wear a 9.5, except in sandals size 9. The 9 was just a bit tight around the toe with my inserts so kept the 9.5. Wore around the house and both pairs were comfortable immediately. First day at work on concrete floors, no fatigue, a great shoe, hope they don't improve it before I buy my next pair. Note: Does slip at the heel somewhat but not bothersome, I have narrow heels and med. width. My foot rises up quite a bit and this was comfortable. I bought heel pads to help with that.

Just got it, so I'm testing it out today. Much more flexible and cushioned than Danskos, less pinky toe rubbing because of the nice toe box width, and the reinforced toe is a nice feature. Weird things are that the toe box lifts slightly upwards, so it feels like your toes are angled up. We'll see how that affects me when I'm standing in the operating room for several hours. Definitely feel an arch bump (I have more neutral arches, so too much support hurts), but not as bad as Danskos. It is a tiny bit big for me, but I ordered the larger of my two usual sizes, so probably it would work for most people's normal size. One caution-- shop around online. After wearing it, I realized that many other websites are selling it for way cheaper than what Zappos is charging here. If you have free shipping options at other sites, you may just want to shop around. Otherwise, good shoe so far!

I wear a size 7D shoe and found these shoes very true to fit, length and width wise. They were lighter in weight than I expected and just like the picture shows the toe area points upward. It was very uncomfortable wearing these shoes for the first time due to the toe area pointing upward however I have become used to it and now find it helps to propel my ambulation. The safety toe has also come in handy already and I feel confident with the non-slip grip which keeps my footwear in compliance with the safety policy at work. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Very lightweight and with a boot cut pant looks like you are wearing a more stylish boot not a work shoe.

This shoe seems to run wide but it's mainly that the toe shape is wide. It is an amazingly comfortable shoe, I think because it is light. It has a safety toe, (not steel) and a super light sole. I have a similar style in steel from Red Wing that are the same shape but heavier. I think it's more than just the toe, I think it's the sole. Really comfortable with more support than the Red Wing. I would recommend these shoes. I got them along with the Ariat which while steel and heavier are much less work shoe looking but not as comfortable either.

I cannot wear these more than four hours without my toes feeling cramped. I believe the clog design causes my foot to slide forward and the flexion is limited (due to the fact that they are steel toe), therefore I end up with sore feet. I have switched to another brand that has a roomier toebox.

I have a wide foot and wanted a shoe with a large toe area. The show was way to narrow in the heel though. I am sure that If I had tried to wear them for any period of time I would have gotten blisters. Another thing I did not like is that it is very obvious where the metal toe starts so only buy these if you want to broadcast the fact that you are wearing metal toed shoes.

I ordered the Newbury because I could no longer get the Renova. This shoe is much stiffer and harder inside and the anti-slip sole is not nearly as nice as the Renova. I am disappointed in this shoe and will not be purchasing again. I was hoping it would be more like the Renova which I loved.
