I'm on my feet all day at work. Wore these straight out of the box with no problems. They are a bit of work to put on. And my feet were tired but a great shoe.

I really liked the way they felt right out of the box. My foot is on the wide side of a medium width so I was very happy to find a shoe I could wear with jeans that had a heel. I will purchase them again in black. I have received compliments on them several times. Zappos is my new best friend!

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I did not need to break these shoes in before wearing for a full day of activity. Durable leather and comfort is what you get with these shoes.

Love these shoes! My first day wearing these shoes was fantastic! I am never wearing another pair of shoes!

I received these as a gift and they are truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Straight out of the box I wore them all day walking around the city and my feet were happy by the end of the day. I am 6 months pregnant now and wanted a good pair of shoes that would expand with my swelling feet and these seem to be everything I was looking for. I have a pair of Dansko clogs too, and they are great, but the Patagonia pair are like my slippers! Oh, and I get lots of compliments...they are form-fitting like a boot and people are surprised to find out that they are clogs!

I was looking for a comfortable shoe to wear to Europe and other travels. This is the "best" shoe I have ever owned. I immediately bought a second pair.

Best shoe ever for someone with an Achilles Heel injury! Any other shoe I wear really gets my heel injury burning, but this shoe has the right angle in the heel, I can wear it all day and my heel feel so much better than if I work a shoe with a slight heel. It is very stylish with skirts/tights and with pants/jeans. I highly recommend.

I find these clogs to be the most comfortable clogs for my picky feet! I have always worn Danskos but lately they don't seem as comfortable to me. These Patagonia better clogs are working so far and I wear them often. The fit is true to size. Thanks, Zappos, for allowing me to try on many options. Your "free return" policy can't be beat!

WAY better than! I buy a 1/2 size larger (8 to 8.5 due to high instep--great fit!) These have more style - good arch support that I need. Attractive (bought a second pair just in case they become extinct. Btw, they look great with everything--pants, jeans, skirts...Well, maybe not a cocktail dress...

I broke my leg and had to wear a boot on my leg. This shoe was for my other foot and was not only the exact right height, but it is also extremely comfortable on long morning walks.

I have neuropathy in my feet from chemotherapy. They are sensitive and very painful. I bought these in black last year. They are the only closed shoes I've found that are comfortable, so I bought them in cattail this year. I was afraid Patagonia would stop making them and couldn't bear having them wear out. Aside from that, I love the style, that they have a little heel and the leather is very good quality. They actually feel good to walk in. I'm a fan!

These are very comfortable and cute. I love them. They are a bit snug, so I wear my thinnest socks, which makes them fit just fine.

These are the BEST clogs ever. I have been wearing them since the day they arrived. Extremely comfortable. I am thinking about a second pair.

These are great! They are very light weight and are much more comfortable than Danskos. The heel is just high enough to give you a little height. I live in Alaska and it is often wet and slippery. The soles on these shoes will work great this winter. Highly recommend!

First let me say that I am a Sanita fan that goes way back. I own at least 10 pairs of Sanita and older version Dansko clogs and practically lived in them until I developed Plantar Fasciitis. I then began a search for a comfortable replacement because even with a padded insert the Sanita/Danskos were not comfortable. I ordered the Patagonia Better Clog and a similar Merrill version. The Patagonia were by far the more comfortable. I can wear them all day putting pressure on my heel without any pain. The fit, the height and the padding in the sole were perfect for me. I do not even need to wear an insert to keep the pressure off my heel I ordered a brown pair as well. I will probably try the Smooth version but am not sure based upon other reviewers if the fit will be as comfortable. These were absolutely TTS. I wear a 7.5, ordered a 7.5 and they were perfect. I do have an average to slightly narrow foot and I'm not sure this shoe would work for wide feet but otherwise I have absolutely no constructive commentary as the shoe has been a life saver for me.

I love these shoes. I am a Dansko clog wearer and these are more comfortable right out of the box and look a little nicer. Same comfort for long hours on your feet.

I love this clog. Looks and feeling. Size: I usually take a 10; originally ordered 11's because I (think) I read they run small, but turns out not that small. A 10.5 was fine. I have very high arches and wide feet and the great, great, great thing about these are that they make my feet look narrow without actually being narrow. Also love the nubuck. Did get the "Cattail" color on sale. Agonized about this but returned them despite them being so much cheaper on sale than the black, but black just goes with more. By the way, I read the reviews about the smooth leather version of this clog and apparently they are not nearly as good as the nubuck. When I'm rich I'll get another color!

I LOVE this clog! The only complaint is simply that i have to bend down to help my foot into it, pretty lazy, eh? It looks fashionable on and much more than a Dansko, and is more like a shoe in its bendable sole. I will be keeping these AND buying black. I haven't felt so excited about a pair of fall/winter shoes in years. I take a 10.5 usually and these were a perfect fit. They look sleek and narrow but they fit very wide feet easily.

I love this clog...it is light and more comfortable than dansko...I do like dansko, but as I get older, they are too hard.

These shoes are really, really comfortable. I bought them because I wanted a fall/winter shoe to give me a slight heel with jeans, and something that was also comfortable. these fit the bill. The only thing I'm slightly hesitant about is that I think they look slightly like "work" shoes, like the clogs that doctors, nurses, etc. would wear. But I like them enough to wear them all the time anyway!

I bought these to replace a pair of worn out Dansko Professional clogs. I was looking for a sleeker look, but still have a shoe with more heel height than what an athletic shoe would provide. By the second day, they were completely broken in, and I've been wearing them for 12 hour nursing shifts ever since. They are very comfortable and have great arch support.

So comfortable right out of the box. I'm a boot-girl so I need something for the warmer weather. I'll be living in these! They run narrow-to-normal, not wide like Dansko's do for me. They are very well-designed, very stable when walking and the perfect height. I've already ordered a second pair in an alternate color.

Very comfy, no break in needed! Have a slightly wide foot but the normal width was just fine for me!

These are extremely comfortable and sturdy, have a "distressed" leather look that I like...I ordered my usual size 6 - perfect fit - would definitely recommend.

I normally wear an 8, but returned the 8 for a 7.5. I wear these with trouser socks, not thick socks. They look especially good with jeans and slacks. I've been wearing these shoes for a few months now. These are my first clogs and while it took me a few days to get used to the different way they feel (some heel lifting up inside the shoe) I absolutely love them for the full support they offer my feet. Sure they aren't the cutest shoes out there, but after a long day standing and walking for hours, my feet are happy at the end of the day. I have been very pleased with this purchase.
