These were comfortable from the first time I put them on. I wore them all day and the following day with no discomfort. For brand new shoes that's impressive. These are the new stars of my footwear collection! They are perfect with jeans.

Let me start by saying that with the amount of shoes (clogs) I have, I could open a mini store! I am a nurse, on my feet 12 hours a day and comfortable shoes are a must and I have tried them all - Dansko, Sanita, Clarks, Klogs. Tried these and they are awesome! Very comfortable, good support, have worn every day for 2 weeks! A record for me! Seller was great. Even bought a second pair. Would definitely recommend! Zappos is a great place to purchase anything, you can't go wrong.

These are now my current go-to shoes for comfort, and they are a little more stylish/less conventional looking than clogs. The footbed is very comfortable, and the sole has more shock absorption than a clog, a more rubberized feeling. I have not experienced the foot smell that others spoke of in their reviews, but I also always wear socks.

Patagonia: Please don't ever stop making these Better Clogs! I've never been a clog girl, because other brands seemed to look too masculine and heavy with my work clothes. Am in outside sales, so I have to kind of dress up in nice pants but walk a whole lot too. I am 59 years old, so my feet have been through a lot over the years, and it can be difficult to find comfortable shoes. These clogs are smaller and slimmer in design than others, so they are more attractive on my feet. These shoes are so comfortable that I can work all day without thinking about my feet. Nice padding, and they have a platform to make you a bit taller without slanting your foot towards your toes like heels do. Have these in black and in brown. Tried the Better Ankle Clog, and those are very nice too. I just liked the lower profile at the ankle. One caveat - Many of the shoes have very slight differences in fit, so I went through a number of pairs to get them just right.

Can I just tell you, I love these clogs. I have hallux rigidus in my big toes and flat feet, and NOTHING feels good on my feet except these clogs. I don't even know why. Plus they have a slender profile and are not clunky. I will probably have to buy another pair for when these wear out.

Love. I have cold feet all the time but not in these. My feet are noticeably toasty warm. I'm seriously considering another pair in a diff color. They are snug and don't slip off. I actually used a shoe horn today to slide into them more easily. I have many clogs but none with a closed back. I wear them with dress slacks to work and with jeans. Order a pair, you won't be sorry!

This is a comfortable, lightweight clog. Much lighter than the Dansko which I also have. Excellent support, and roomy enough for an orthotic. I have significant bunions, and it is more comfortable than most, though it is taking a bit of breaking in to be as comfortable as the Josef Seibel it is replacing. LOVE the extra heel height on this shoe! Leather is a matte finish, and toe does not curve up as much as some comfort shoes which I liked.

Some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and the most elegant clogs I've ever seen. (But y'know, they're still clogs.)

I bought these for a vacation which required a great deal of walking. I love, love them. I am wearing them today and probably wear them 4 days out of 7 every week!

Love these clogs! Less clunky than Dansko with tapered heal so my feet don't swim around in them. Guessing they would not be good for wide foot or ultra high instep. Elastic has just the right give to get clog on and allow for comfortable fit feeling once on. Originally bought these for work where I am on my feet all day. Found myself wearing them all the time, feet/legs still okay after long days. My preferred footwear unless I'm going formal.

I didn't think it was possible to find a better clog than a Dansko -- but this is it! I live in clogs -- these are extremely comfortable and a bit more stylish than Dansko. There is a bit of comfort that comes from having your feet snuggled into these as opposed to the less form fitting Danskos. Also, they are a bit sleeker looking. Still love Danskos for some things -- but these are my new favs.

The leather is a little stiff and cuts across my big toe but I'm hoping a few more weeks of frequent wear will soften it up. I like the flexible sole, however, and the sort of hippie-dippy style. It's like the clogs I used to wear in my authentically hippie-dippy days, only I don't clip-clop like a pony every time I cross the room.

I am a true 8.5, never an 8 but these shoes I wear the size 8. I have 2 pair 8 and 8.5 (brown and black) and the 8.5 stretched and feel too big so I got an 8 and they stretched and feel great. These are very comfortable shoes, can walk all day in them without getting sore feet.

Better Clog is right! From the box to my foot. Seems like I've been wearing them forever - no break-in period needed (and why should there ever be?). Adorable, love how the seam is vertical down the front toe area, not horizontal. Very sharp! This is all I'll be in all winter - may go back for more colors.

This is a well named clog. It is better. Runs true to size, is wonderfully comfortable, goes with everything..dressier than most clogs. The only problem is that Patagonia is discontinuing its shoe line, so if you want a pair, order now.

Very comfortable. However, wearing a thicker sock works better for me than wearing a light to mid-weight sock with these shoes. Always great, fast service from Zappos!

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've worn in a long time. The arch support is excellent. The only negative is that I tend to roll my ankle outward while wearing the clogs. It's happened to me twice this past week, causing a really painful sprain in one event. Just a note of caution!

If I could give a 6th star, after yesterday, I would. I already thought these were great shoes, because of comfort and fit, rustic style and versatility. But then, after a late night, I rolled out early in the morning for the two hour drive to Shenandoah National Park and a day of hiking. At the trail head it came time to switch to hiking shoes when I knew I, a 60-something, had made a rookie or stoned youth mistake - forgot said hiking shoes (also Patagonia and great). So, nothing to do but join the others on trail that soon became steep, and watch my footing on leaves topping loose stones and abundant acorns. Then it started raining. The term friction coefficient (rapidly diminishing) was much on my mind. I paid close attention to slippery ground, praying I would not fall and impact myself and the whole group, and vowing to join the chorus at Zappos praising this shoe if I managed to return without a slip. And so I have.

I've owned these shoes for two months now and I love them! I have a pair of Danskos that I had worn for a couple years and finally decided that I just wasn't crazy about them (everyone told me they needed to be broken in but they just never felt comfortable to me after breaking them in). I have back/hip issues and after wearing the Danskos all day my back would be really sore. Also, I have a high instep so they were always a little tight on the top of my foot. After reading several reviews, I decided to try Patagonia. My feet are a little wide so I was concerned at first since they felt a little snug on my size 9 foot, but after wearing them just a few times they were broken in and are very comfortable! I can wear these all day with no issues. They are warm, which is great for colder days (my feet were always cold in my Danskos). I wouldn't recommend wearing these in the summer on hot days. They look great with a pair of jeans but could also be worn with dress pants. I was so happy with these that I also bought them in Thatcher (brown). I guess my only complaint with the black pair would be that the dye does wear off on white socks if your feet sweat. Some reviewers commented that they made their feet smell horrible, but I haven't had a problem with that.

I love these shoes so much. They were comfortable from the first moment and provide great support. This is my favorite shoe it's very hard for me to find a really comfortable shoe and this one is. Please offer more designs.

I expected these shoes to be comfortable, but they were surprisingly more comfortable than I expected! The soft soles provide for a cushioned walk. I ordered a size 9 and had to exchange them for a 9 1/2. These have become my favorite shoes for work!

I have enjoyed wearing these shoes over the last winter/spring season. After trying on 3 other pairs of shoes, I found that these fit perfect on my feet compared to the others. I have not had to endure a "break in" time period. They fit perfect right out of the box. I also like the height of the heels, not too short, not too tall. I recently purchased a hiking shoe from Patagonia. Again after trying on several other brands, I found the Patagonia to be the best overall shoe. Pricier compared to the other brands, but worth I think. They will last a long time and I'm supporting an environmentally friendly company.

Comfortable right out of the box - I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital and these really keep me from getting tired. So much better than danskos and no tripping!
