This shoe is a God send. I have been wearing Dansko clogs and sandals for years and my post pregnancy back aches disappeared. Now my aging feet are changing and clogs are making my feet fall asleep and tingle? I tried this shoe and its perfect. It is a bit less steep than the clogs and has more toe room in front and is ever so soft. I wore them all day to my new job and they were great. I am checking to see what colors they come in.These have the more traditional heel and do not slide up and down like the clogs but are better for my new (OLD) feet. Yeah!

Couldn't be happier with fit - true to nice - comfort unparallelled. I am a long time Dankso wearer and this is by far most comfortable.

I really liked wearing these shoes the first time I put them on. I wore them to work the next day and there was absolutely no "breaking in" period. I've worn them 3 days straight and am making plans to buy a pair in black as soon as I can.

This shoe is very comfortable. I am a size 8 1/2 and it fits perfectly. The shoe helps the stress on my knees and my back. Recommended if you are on your feet all day or city walking.

I bought these to wear in Belgium and France this winter. They are a little dressy, but not too much. The back comes up high on the ankle, which is a little uncomfortable, and I will really need my orthotics, which I do not need with Dansko Pros. I am a little worried that the sole will slip on wet streets. If that happens, I will erase some stars!

These shoes are very comfortable and stylish. The only problem is they are not very breathable. I wear them from 12-14 hours and after only having them 2-3 weeks they smell. Yes my feet and socks are clean. I have NEVER had this problem with my work shoes before. I went online and read forums where other people had the exact same issue. They posted what they did to try and solve the problem. I wore Keen's before these and odor was never an issue. Might buy another style. Otherwise the shoes fit, width and comfort are great.

This shoe feels great underfoot (plenty of cushioning), but sadly did not give me enough room for my toes, so they have to go back. A size 39 fit rather big; I usually take an 8.5 US size.

I bought the Arden because of the top gusset. However, I am returning them because the part of the shoe that comes over the heel and up to the ankle rubs my heel/ankle badly. I have a high instep and was looking for something to wear for air travel. My Dansko clogs are too tight on top to wear on airplanes, where my feet swell a bit. I'll definitely keep watching for more Dansko options for high insteps, though.

The fit was great and they really help my legs. I no longer have the tired, achy feeling after a day of teaching. But I am disappointed in the leather. After only a month, my shoes have scuff marks (scratches) on the uppers. I have never experienced this from a Dansko product before. Hence my lower rating.

This would have been my second pair of Danskos but alas, they have to be returned. The sizing on these seems to run larger than normal Dansko clogs (and my Dansko Professionals have plenty of room in them as they should!). The lighter weight is nice as is the style but with my small feet, these are just too big.

I was happy with the the way the shoe looked. I liked the style. The shoe was a little too loose, but felt better with a thick sock. Disappointing though, because the leather scuffed and tore so easily. I don't even know when or how it happened. But I don't even want to wear them anymore because they look beat up already and I've had them less than a month.

This shoe seemed somewhat like a loafer to me in terms of looks and comfort. Oddly, the right shoe felt a whole size larger than the left shoe. I needed to check to see that the shoes were, indeed, a pair (which they were). They were not as stylish as I had hoped, and they will be returned.

This is not the same base (last?) as the typical Dansko clog, and it shows in good ways and bad. The good: soft footbed and absolutely no pressure on my (high) instep. The bad: shockingly little arch support. Will keep them, but will not be able to wear them comfortably for periods of continuous walking or standing that last more than about 30 minutes.

I bought this shoe because I thought it looked a bit dressier than my normal clogs (I have 2 pairs: Sanita's not Dansko's). I wish I didn't wear these out of the house so I could return them. My feet slide around in them, the toebox is much narrower than the clogs, the overall effect being my toes jamming up front. I replaced the insoles with super feet (original insole doesn't have great arch support for flat feet), added foot petal cushions and heel cushions to prevent sliding/slipping. Overall, they are now wearable, not nearly as comfy as my clogs, but more comfy than some of my other dressier shoes.

It looked so nice but felt very uncomfortable. I felt like I was wearing a wooden shoe made in Holland. I only wore them for a few minutes around the house and took them off.

Very comfy shoes but do not hold up well. This is my second pair, they are less than a year old, and the sole of the shoe split. (Zappos does not offer any guarantee either) For the price and being Dansko shoes, I thought these would last a little longer than 11 months.

These stretched out after wearing them a few times and now feel a size too large. And, they toe has gotten scuffed and worn too quickly. They now look horrible and used. I would have expected better quality from Dansko.

Not happy with Dansko. They stopped making the soles/styles I depend on for my issues with bunions and flat feet. After a year of searching, this was the best I could come up with. The sole is slippery on all surfaces. The narrowness means I keep twisting my ankle. And the sole leaves black marks on my vinyl, tile and laminate flooring. They look good, though. Zappos, you're wonderful but Dansko needs a kick in the pants.

These were great shoes as far as fit is concerned. They're also fairly stylish and accommodated my orthotics very well. However, they did not wear well at all and any bump or scrape left very obvious gouges and hang-nail like pieces on the soft leather. I'm a high school teacher, so we're talking normal wear. I think they were gouged after the first trip up the stairs. Even worse, the beautifully dyed surface is usually scraped clear off, leaving a cardboard colored spot that is really terrible looking. I tried coloring the gouges with a permanent marker but it just didn't match, and finally gave up when an 1 inch long scrape appeared on my heel and was too large to color. These shoes were perfect for me in every other way, but sadly and very saldy, I won't be ordering these again. I can't believe no one else has reported this. However, this is my only unsuccessful purchase to date from this site, and Zappos handled the issue with class.

Shoes appeared comfortable at first, but the arch was too high and did not give my heel enough support for standing for 10 hours. Plus the shoes smelled funky, a bad chemical smell.

Well, I think I've made yet another successful purchase from Zappos. No shoe has enough arch support for me, so I bought these shoes because they're supposed to be orthotic friendly. So far, they accommodate my custom-made orthotics and a moderately cushioned sock very well. The toebox is also quite roomy. Although Euro Size 39 is perfect for my size 8 1/2 medium foot- someone who wears a size 9 may need to try a Euro Size 40. And they're only a little bit clunky looking. Right now I'm very happy and I don't see any reason why I won't stay this way. The final test will be the cement floors at work. I'll provide an update if there are any issues that develop later on, since I know there are people who rely on this reviews. (I know I do.) By the way, I ordered these shoes in the late afternoon yesterday and they arrived today- truly amazing.
