I so wanted to love this shoe! My first Dansko purchase because I heard they had a roomy toe box. Unfortunately this was not the case for me. Perhaps if they came in wide (which I have never worn) it might have worked. Lovely shoe for those without toe issues!

I liked the shoe overall, but it was narrower in the toe box than I expected. I sometimes wear medium width and sometimes wide. I guess I'm somewhere in between. Since Danskos are meant to be roomy in the toe box, I thought these would be fine, but alas they were a bit too narrow. This was my first try with Danskos so maybe it's just this style.

Great shoes. These fit well. The insoles have nice arch support and they are also removable. The treads of the shoes are smoother than I realized they would be. It took a little getting used to but now I don't even notice it. Perhaps they just need a couple days of walking in them to rough up the smooth finish on the treads. Overall I'm very happy with these shoes.

Most comfortable shoes I own. Classy, style & comfort usually don't come easy. Easy to slip your own orthotics under insole.

I am on my feet all day and need comfort and support. I also have plantar fasciitis. These shoes are great in all departments except style! In my opinion, they look like men's shoes, but I will sacrifice comfort for style! The leather is very soft and breathable which doesn't make the shoe seem tight! I usually buy wide width but these fit perfectly! I take anywhere from an 8 to 8 1/2 and the size 39 is perfect!

I love these shoes! They are really comfortable and supportive with great cushioning. They look good on--almost like a boot when worn with slacks. I have a lot of pain in my feet, and I wear these when I need something dressier than my usual laced walking shoes. I can wear them all day and still be comfortable. I usually wear a wide shoe, but this fit quite well.

These are great "closed" shoes that will work for people with saddle bone deformity (metatarsal cuneiform extosis). I have been wearing the classic Dansko professional clog style for more years than I can remember--they work for all of my other foot issues, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, etc. Over the last year the bone spur on the top of my foot from the saddle bone has grown and become pronounced enough that the pressure from the top of the professional danskos cuts right across the nerve, causing my toes to go numb. I am thrilled to have found a replacement that lets me walk numbness-free, and is not a mary-jane style!

Love these clogs... Zappos will tell you I'm hard to fit (they know w/the returns). These clogs were comfortable out of the box...Love them!

These are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have hip arthritis and other joint problems, and these shoes make life bearable. This is my second pair. The first were suede, which are more stylish. Unfortunately, the model seems to have been discontinued. I tried Patagonia better clogs and they didn't work for me at all.

I have many many pair of Dansko shoes, and this is by far the most comfortable. I ordered my usual Dansko size and it was a good fit from the start. It isn't as clunky or unstable as the Professionals. Just wish it was available in more colors...it's a fave!

I have a high arch and high instep- a high volume foot which normally never fits into clogs. But they fit perfectly into these Dansko Ardens because of the stretchy parts on the top and the side of the shoe. Very supportive yet classic looking. I wear them to work almost everyday and never have tired feet anymore! I did go up one size from the Dansko adjustable strap sandals i have (which are also very comfy). I usually wear a wide because but was able to wear this shoe in normal width. Miraculous!

Bought these as I'm on my feet a lot at work. They are super comfortable. Not sure what took me so long to get a pair of Dansko! I would definitely recommend these shoes. They aren't as high heeled as some of the others which I also liked.

These didn't really fit like my other Dansko, as they are more contoured in the toe box. Really a good looking shoe, but the arch in the right shoe didn't meet my arch. Have to return!

I love these shoes. On a recent trip I wore them and walked and walked all day shopping at outlets...and my feet were not tired. Now I choose these shoes over my others because they are so comfortable. I wish toe was a bit more pointed (for style reasons) but that didn't stop me in buying them. Highly recommend! Was my first pair of Dansko...and am very happy.

My feet are thanking me for these shoes! They fit and feel wonderful. Great arch support, I wear them 5 days per week a least 9 hours per day since I received them.

I am so pleased with these shoes! The very next day after receiving them, I wore them to work. To be honest they were uncomfortable that first day, and I was afraid they would not be right for me. The next wearing they felt great! I guess they just needed a little initial breaking-in session. I have worn them every day so far at work this week, and when I get home my feet do not ache anymore like they always did with my old Dansko Professionals. I have worn Dansko Professionals for many years, and I like the Arden so much better for comfort and looks. The Arden has more of a tapered look at the toe and does not look so clompy. Happy customer here!

These shoes look nice and are very comfortable. I am on my feet all day, so I need a good supportive shoe. These work great for me. I have also battled with plantar fasciitis, so I need a good quality shoe. I do find that these shoes are a little hard to size. I bought a size 41 that felt a little too short, so I replaced them with a 42. These feel slightly big but still comfortable.

Dansko Arden is an excellent choice for women like me who want the ease of a slip on, the look of a clog, but the feel of a traditional shoe. Zappos is the best. Thanks for working with me to purchase the right shoe for me.

Fits true to size, no break in necessary. Looks great in both casual and professional wear. Would buy this in different colors in a heartbeat!

Very comfortable! I work 12 hour shifts and am on my feet most of the time. These are the perfect shoes for a lot of walking! Will be getting some more colors and styles of this brand.

I've had plantar fasciitis for the past 5 months and while it is slowly healing, I'm not able to use many of the shoes in my closet. I've resorted to buying 'sensible shoes', which just makes me feel like an old person. Enter these very comfortable and attractive Danskos! When I tried them on in the store they were immediately easy on the feet. Today I wore them all day for the first time and my feet aren't sore from the usual break-in period. Amazing! I am an educator and stand all day during classes. I can tell these will be very easy to wear all day long. I also bought the Dansko Abby Mary Janes for a dressier look. They go well with skirts and dresses. So I feel like I have my two basic work shoes now, and both are Danskos. The brand works for me. I really like the new XP models. They are lighter weight, more flexible, softer leather, and better walking shoes then the professional clogs. I have the red marble patent clog, which are super cute and I get all kinds of compliments, but they are not walkers! I can stand in them all day long, but walking even a couple of blocks and it's apparent they aren't meant for walking. So glad Dansko listened to their fans and designed a lighter shoe!

Now my aging feet are changing and clogs are making my feet fall asleep and tingle? I tried this shoe and its perfect. It is a bit less steep than the clogs and has more toe room in front and is ever so soft.. I wore them all day to my new job and they were great. I am checking to see what colors they come in.These have the more traditional heel and do not slide up and down like the clogs but are better for my new (OLD) feet. Yeah!
