I have this in the brown t.moro and I love it. I constantly get compliments on it. I ordered it and received it the next day. I love Zappos as well as D&B. I have several and they all wear well and look better with wear.

I Love This Dooney & Bourke Large Florentine Vachetta Satchel in the Orange color I give 5 star the bad side is if you have a bad back I say buy the smaller one and if you do buy the large Dooney and if you have a bad back like me when you go grocerie shopping put your Dooney in the cart my neck and back hurt so bad from carreying my Dooney & Bourke in the grocerie store last night I still give 5 star because I love this purse and the color it's worth every penny to me when they made this Handbag they made it to last keep up the good work Dooney & Bourke a heavy handbag will out last the necked leather ones go Dooney & Bourke You rock keep them coming thank you Zappos for the Dooney & Bourke Handbags

D&B bags are my favorite annual Mother's Day gift! I love this bag. Great pockets. Zipper doesn't quite lay as flat as the pictures show so the straps are a little tight. I can't see a woman with larger arms trying to carry it comfortably. I have a small frame and my elbow rests on the leather snugly. Love the quality, it will last for years. I have several bags but D&B are my only bags that truley look better with age.

Love all of my Dooney bags, wallets and totes, and this one has become my favorite. I purchased the Natural color, and considering purchasing the red or oyster color. I have enjoyed the durability and quality of the leather of D & B bags for many years. It holds everything I need (wallet, phone, Kindle, cosmetic bag, glasses, sunglasses, etc.). If there is a scratch it doesn't bother me, I think it adds to the character. I also found that by rubbing a scratch with your finger, made it disappear (which is related to the natural oils on the skin). The pocket organization is great and I love the zip top and red interior. I have received many compliments, and I know this bag will last a lifetime. I don't find it heavy, perhaps because I always carry large bags and totes with several items inside. Very happy to add this bag to my growing collection of 65 handbags!

This bag is extremely well made and my first 'big girl' bag ever (I am a 30 year old woman). I could not be happier with my purchase. A really good investment for any young professional.

This is the best bag I have ever bought. I got the chestnut color and have no problem with scratches. Maybe they show up more on black but they fade away immediately on mine. I got this for a trip to Europe, and it was perfect for dissuading pickpockets! It had plenty of room for all the extra junk you have to carry while traveling, plus my iPad.

I got it in pink and blue, I absolutely love it! I get so many compliments. It is large, but it does not collapse on itself is not full. Then I can stuff small packages, kindle, bottle of water. It is gorgeous!

I saw this bag awhile ago. I didn't buy it right away. I waited a while to purchase it, but when I did I loved it. Looks nice, holds everything, and feels lovely. I own a lot of handbags but this is just my favorite. And it is my first Dooney and Bourke!

Bought this bag from a coworker for a song, and utterly love everything about it! The Brown is rich and warm, and the leather feels like nothing else! Am considering getting another color. Dooneys last forever and wear beautifully. The older I get the more I learn to appreciate having a handful of really amazing bags rather than a closet full of cheap, poorly made ones. It is stylish, roomy and easy to carry, looks awesome and one of a kind. I carry it as a satchel. I do not use the shoulder strap.

This is officially my orange crush. I live in San Francisco and I walk everywhere. Which means I always need to haul around a pair of walking shoes, my heels, a scarf, umbrella and a sweater. I was sick of hauling around a backpack, or multiple bags to carry all this stuff around with me. I was looking for a stylish bag that could function between my backpack and my going out purse. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. It is big without being bulky. And I just love the color. Today is my first day in the office with my crush and my coworker is ordering one in Fuchsia as we speak!

I looked and looked and looked. This bag by far was the most elegant and "expensive" looking bag out there! I looked at a lot of bags and feel deeper in love with this one when I received it! I want the white and tan one for spring...Santa might bring it!

Big fan of D&B. I own many of their bags. I have the Florentine in Dark Brown T.Moro: the color is just fantastic, makes you believe that Fall is the most beautiful season. I also have it in Red: Rock and Roll color but so wearable with everything. It is a color that makes you full of energy. And, I just bought the last one in Blue. Can't wait to have it. I have one in light green with the front pocket. It is a bit heavy and large but you can fold the top so it is okay and I am 5.4. My next buy will be, well, well, well...Maybe the Pink (if I feel strong) or Chestnut (if I feel quiet). The quality is so great and the smell of the leather makes me feel rich.

Beautiful bag. Beautiful leather. The new key keeper doesn't bother me. A Dooney rep. explained that the old leather key keeper would end up being pulled off or tearing with continued use and that the nylon was stronger. Makes perfect sense to me!

This is a beautiful bag -- however, it's much too big for me! I met the Vachetta leather satchel in a D&B store and thought it too large for me once I tried it on (was on vacation and hadn't opened my Zappos box yet!). The vachetta leather is soft and beautiful and will probably break in fairly quickly for that nice, comfortable, "worn in" feeling. It's obviously very roomy, and I'm sure I could've fit all of my usual essentials plus some additional items. I can see how it would be heavy to carry around for a long period, however, I wouldn't let that deter me if I really loved it! Sad that I'm not as in love with it as I was hoping to be!

I bought this bag in December, and just started using it today, the quality of the bag is wonderful, the style and great. I love this bag, I have other D&B, but this is by far my favorite.

It actually took about a week for me to begin using this purse. At first I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep it but I decided to give it a chance for the simple fact that it has great craftsmanship and the leather smells so fresh. The only negatives that I have noticed are that it is very heavy, as other reviews have pointed out, also the leather scratches very easy. I also wanna point out that the green underside of the tassels are a very bad idea. I really wish they would’ve left that off. Outside of that the purse is spectacular and those few things do not bother me enough not to carry the purse. Great purchase.

I was so much looking forward to get this bag, well I got it and is everything the reviewrs said: Very well made, wonderful craft, exquisite colors, beautiful, elegant, precious...But, (there is always a but)...The handbag it's heavy, and I mean HEAVY, also as soon as I touched it leaved scratch marks on the leather, so weird. But the real deal breaker for me was when I looked in the mirror and realized this bag made me look like a banker in the 90's. Yes, it's perfect, so well made, but unfortunely not for me. Too stiff. I returned today.

The quality is high. I wish you couldn't see any color from the inside lining on the zipper although the lining is quite beautiful inside. I cut off the cheesy tassels and it's much better now. This a very heavy bag if you couldn't figure it out by the size, but it will last a long time.
