I like this shoe. I like the minimus concept; it lets me work my feet more. The shoe comes in W, which is wide enough to not irritate my bunions. I use them both for Zumba and for strength conditioning. I wear a 7.5 street shoe normally, and I wear an 8.5 in these. Normally for a sport shoe I just size up 1/2 size.

Thought the size 5 was too tight, then I remembered that almost the same rule applies here as it does for my figure skates: the tighter, the better. Snug enough for TRX/Boot Camp but can still wiggle my toes. Do as the warning label says and break in slowly if not used to minimus styled shoes; my achilles hurt the first week, so I wore these around town for another week instead of to training classes. The shoe laces are too long for (small) size 5!

I am not a runner. I wanted a shoe that was light and flat. I would probably wear an 11 1/2 except they do not make half sizes that large, so I sometimes wear an 11 when the she runs big and a 12 if the shoe runs small. I ordered a 12 because it seemed that the shoe runs small from the other reviews. They were right. The 12 fit perfect and was so glad. So, order up a half size. The shoe is a little narrower in the heel/arch and roomier in the toes. I have a tendency to run a little wide, but not enough to buy a WW, and these were fine when I loosened the laces a little. I can't tolerate a heel at all. I need my heel and toes to be at the same level. This shoe has a little bit of an incline, but it's very slight. The shoe feels light and comfortable. I really didn't think about my shoe again after a couple of hours break in period. I can't stand a bulky, heavy shoe and this one is anything but that. Also, it wasn't as thin bottomed as some other New Balance casual shoes (not running shoes) that I owned. Those you could feel the ground under your feet and offered no cushion. These do have cushion. There is not much arch support. I don't like a high arch, so it was perfect for me.

I love these shoes! Make sure you buy a half a size bigger! I had to return and get a different pair. I wear them at CrossFit and they work perfectly.

I'm in love with these shoes. I bought them for fitness classes at the gym...but I find myself wearing them all the time. They're great for walking the dogs or just running errands on a weekend. Super comfy without socks even! Love love love them.

I recently purchased these shoes for CrossFit. So far they have been great, very comfortable and light. Since they have a thinner sole, I can feel the ground better when lifting and feel more stable. They are, however, not ideal for rope climbing. I tore up the sole a bit this week, not to unusable condition but I will wear different shoes next time for ropes. I usually wear an 8 - 8.5, ordered the 8.5 and they fit great. Very happy!

Love the shoes, but they run small. I ordered the size I normally wear in New Balance shoes and have to return them for a larger size.

I have 3 pair of NB trail 10, 20v, all with vibram soles. They all fit the same. One pair of NB without vibram soles fits very wide. This NB minimus is beautiful but very narrow. Had to 1/2 size up and then even go to a wide! (Guess that's why this one comes in a wide, the others don't...hint hint from NB.) The 1/2 size up felt the same in length and width as the lower size...almost as though the sizing varied/was irregular from shoe to shoe? All in all -good looking and I really wanted a pair of all black. Other than that, I'll be sticking to the vibram sole NB minimus. They feel great indoors anyway. Better fit. When ordering: definitely 1/2 size up...if your foot isn't narrow, you might prefer the wide.

This is the most comfortable shoe ever! I bought them for Zumba, they work well for that, as well as just knocking around. Plus, they're really cute!

I love these, but sadly I have to exchange them for half a size up. They ran too small! My toes were totally crunched. But even then, I otherwise loved the fit and feel.

Absolutely love these shoes. I am a Crossfitter and was looking for a shoe to wear during my workouts. I have these and the Reebok Nanos. I have been using both alternately for several months and I really prefer my New Balance over my Nanos. They are very comfortable and light. I feel great using them for running, lifting, box jumps, rope climbs, etc. I wouldn't recommend them for running very long distances, but for a CrossFit workout they are my favorite.

I use these for CrossFit and they are perfect. Very low to the ground and super comfortable. Not a lot of support but great for lifting. Basically you just feel barefoot when you run. A great shoe. I highly recommend them.

I am a sneaker/boots fanatic. I now have a dozen or more sneaks all from Zappos. These caught my eye just by the color and build. I looks very sweet on and very comfy. This year alone I purchased 6 pair from Zappos alone. I was tired of the athletic look that I see everywhere. I need some fashion relief, as I am very particular with everything I own. Again thanks Zappos for your ability to offer millions of styles!

Best shoes for CrossFit! I've tried Nike Frees, Inov8s, and Reebok Nanos, but these shoes are the best. They provide just the right amount of support, unlike the Inov8s and aren't stiff like the Nanos, and don't get rocks caught on the soles like Frees.

I have a large foot so it's hard to find the correct size. I would buy this a half size larger.

These shoes work great for going between running & lifting at the gym. The sizing is very accurate and they're nice and light weight. A very good quality shoe, but not quite the best.

I probably bought these shoes a bit too large (I ordered a full size up instead of 1/2 a size), but I love them regardless of the extra room. I have narrow feet but they don't feel too wide, and running is comfortable (though I wouldn't recommend them for activities that stress the ankles). I love the grey/pink color and the more casual look (I don't like space-age looking sneakers). Barefoot feel while still feeling solid.

The usual high-quality order-taking and delivery service by Zappos. These shoes are astonishingly comfortable for someone with terrible feet and toes, and nice looking to boot.

These looked like nice shoes. However, as some of the other reviewers mentioned, the toebox is very narrow and pinched my toes. I had already ordered a half size larger than normal. The length was right for my big toe, but my other toes didn't have enough room. I returned them and got the Nike Lunarbase trainers instead.

I was looking forward to getting these shoes for Cross Fit and training. Unfortunately, although they are long enough and wide enough, the two box is too low and my big toes are hitting the top of the shoe, even while wearing in my house. Sadly, they are going back.

I found the shoe to be very true to description. They are comfortable but personally for me I'd like something with more arch support. After a long day at work on my feet I did start to feel some discomfort. But they worked great for cross fit workouts (what I really got them for)!

It's a cute shoe, it really is... It's just shaped weird. I have a wide foot so I usually get a 9-91/2... This show felt short, the width was good though. I didn't return them because I wore them a few times already. I gave it 3 stars because its an OK shoe.

Weird fit on me. I wear a 9.5 in regular shoes and a 10.5 in athletic shoes and my toes hit the end of these. I have a high arch and instep and these had no arch support and were uncomfortable over my arch. I understand they are minimalist and not intended to provide arch support, but I have other minimalist shoes that are snug around my arch and feel much better. My feet collaposed inward in these. Going back to Zappos.
