This is the second pair of these I have owned. The first pair lasted for years and the sizing felt perfect. However my experience with these has been much different. It took multiple tries to get the sizing right as they always felt smaller than they should have been. My bigger complaint is I have only had these 6 months and they are already falling apart. When you spend $127 on shoes I would hope to get more than 6 months out of them. Will probably not purchase another pair.

I was nervous ordering since my 10-year-old pair had finally broken in half clear across the bottom and I was worried that the quality had declined, as it has in the past few years for so many things. I was delighted that the new shoes fit the same as the old (minus the wear and breakage). They're a bit heavier and the felt is thicker, and I have no way to guess how that'll impact how long they'll last. But for the moment, I'm happy that they're an immediate, no-break-in replacement for the old ones. Hooray for consistency!

More comfortable than my Birkenstocks! I just love these.

I have been eyeing these since March and finally decided to make the plunge. They are everything I had hoped. The footbed feels very similar to a Birkenstock foot bed--but wooly. I have flat feet and really need arch support and am very happy with the support these give me. They are warm and cozy and I'm looking forward to wearing them this winter. I agree with other reviewers--these are a full size larger than Birkenstocks. I wear a 38 in Birks and a 37 in these. I have a wide, duck shaped foot, and these fit me very well.

I have the Haflinger Women's Magic in 40 so ordered that again. However, this pair seemed wider. Probably because it was for both men and women and my previous pair was just women. I love the charcoal color and I'm glad I didn't get something with a pattern because these look nice with everything. I do need to wear thicker socks, but with jeans and pants, that's fine. I wear these indoor and outdoors.

I simply love these. Very comfortable and warm. I hate wearing socks and dealing with laces so these toasty slip ons are perfect fall shoes! My feet tend to be a bit "taller" at the arch and these don't rub at that spot where many shoes do. They are maybe not what I imagined myself wearing when I thought I was "cool" in my 20's but I do like the look of the charcoal wool and leather trim.

Haflinger boiled wool clogs are a staple in my shoe wardrobe and I have been wearing them for years, decades! I do also have the other popular brand that begins with an "S". I find that I go back and forth between the two depending on what colors are available. The price point seems to be about the same for both lines and they both have the same quality and attention to detail. Zappos carries the Haflinger brand and because I am a huge Zappos.com fan, this brand usually wins out. This is a style that is forever smart and fashionable and has been worn by women and girls for years. The boiled wool material is indestructible and warm and keeps your feet nice and toasty even if the weather is a bit wet. The fit is true to size, in my opinion. I wear a half size and have tried sizing down and sizing up. I have some minor foot issues after walking on these feet for 57 years and just prefer to size up myself. You kind of shuffle around in clogs anyways so whatever feels the best for you is how you should order. I feel a little confined when I size down. I received this clog in the pink color from my husband for my January birthday after I requested a completely pink gift selection. They are so darn cute even for a mature lady like myself (who still feels she's 23). They are very cool and I have gotten a ton of compliments on them. All of the colors are great! If you don't already wear these clogs, give them a try. I think you'll be very happy that you did!

Like a wool-covered Birkenstock slipper, they are supportive and very comfortable. The sizing runs like a Birk - size down. They are expensive for slippers and I am allergic to wool, and yet I may keep them...

The slippers are super comfortable and roomy.

These are my favorite around the house and more shoe! My last pair gave out after 20 years but I didn’t replace right away. I used some other no support slippers for awhile and I started to get sore feet at the end of the day. Now I got a new fresh pair of Haflingers and it’s amazing how much better my feet are. As soon as I walk in the door they are on! Great for taking the dogs out in the yard first thing in the morning. I love the charcoal color looks great with jeans and yoga pants! Also these are great all year long, cool in summer, warm in winter. I wear them with or without socks so they are just a little loose without a sock, but I like that. Do yourself a favor and try a pair!

I normally wear a 9 1/2 shoe 40 or 41 EU. In this shoe I bought a 39. I wanted a shoe that fit so I could wear barefoot or with a thin sock. Once I found the size, the rest was perfect!

Oh my my move over Birkenstock. I'm an avid Birkenstock fan I have Fred Flinstone feet. I've found a new kid in town these are so comfortable. I normally am sensitive to wool but these are NOT scratchy at all actually they keep my feet toasty. The fit is on point & wonderful & I MUST have another pair. 37 in Birks & 37 in Haflingers I am 1 happy gal Thanks ZAPPO'S

I have been wearing Haflinger Grizzly's for years around the house. They have great arch support, and help keep my plantar fasciitis at bay. The leather trim holds up better than the fabric trim. I normally wear a size EU 40, but in these I wear a 39.

Great house-clogs for cold weather. Sturdier than Ugg slippers, with more give than Dansko clogs. Easy to step into. Excellent arch support. Seem well made so far, but I've only had them for a couple weeks. Also, they are cute in a rustic northern European way, and the charcoal color is beautiful. For size reference, I am almost always size 7 (7.5 in dressy heels), size 38 in clogs like Sanita and Dansko. Size 38 was a perfect fit in these - there is slightly more than a finger's width of space between my heel and the back wall of the footbed, which IMO is exactly right for clogs. They feel snug with socks which is how I usually wear them, but a little roomy with bare feet. Strangely, the first pair I ordered showed up in a plain brown non-Zappos box, and the inner box was soaking wet! Zappos was great, and did a fast exchange, even tho it was almost certainly the shipping company's fault.

These are great for your feet. Recently developed metatarsalgia and these brought instant and therapeutic relief. They are wide like a clog but not too wide that you flop around. I wear a 5.5M and the size 36 is a perfect fit. Somewhat lower cut on the instep makes them very attractive on your feet and easy to walk in. I had a pair of these years ago when they were made in Germany and those lasted 10+ years. Now made in Poland but still made well. A great house-shoe but can definitely be worn as an outdoor shoe. Pricey but glad I bought them.

I'm obsessed with these shoes. I have several pairs for every possible location I could be (my house, my parents' house, etc.). Great arch support, super comfy. I'm normally a 6.5-7 and I bought a 37 and it fits well.

Same great quality as the pair I've had for 15+ years! They run large. I ordered a whole size smaller than usual.

Excellent shoe and so comfortable! I primarily wear mine around the house all day, because I need a supportive shoe with a good footbed whenever I'm on my feet. Then it becomes a great shoe to wear out of the house as well if I choose. Looks fine with jeans or sweats. I have about 4 pairs of these in different colors, and they wear like iron through the years. I wear them as slippers too! They keep my feet toasty warm. They are my favorite go to shoes everyday! Please note, they run 1 size large! I wear a straight 7, but must have a 37 in this style. I would highly recommend the Haflinger Grizzly.

I have terribly problematic feet, including bone damage, chronic fascitis and bunions, and these are undoubtedly one of the best shoes I have ever worn. They take about a week or 2 to fully mold to the foot but once they do they cover every need, from slippers around the house, standing on them all day, working in them or even tramping around outside. I have worn these Halflingers almost every day with zero pain for the past four years and only now has the felt finally begun to tear. An amazing product.

Bought these to replace a pair that lasted a dozen years. Great quality and construction. My favorite indoor shoes!

Love these shoes! This is my 3rd pair. Extremely well made, they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn - fantastic arch support, nice and wide. They run large. I like to wear them with woolly socks, and I like a roomy shoe, but if you don't. I recommending ordering a size down. Not weather-proof of course - but great outside on any dry day, and for lounging inside any time. I love them with jeans or pj's!

Not the cutest shoes, but very comfortable and great if you have plantar fasciitis. I bought one pair to wear at the house as my house slippers and liked them so much that I bought two more pairs (different styles) to wear out and about. I talked my husband into buying a pair and they have helped his plantar issues also. They are slightly large all around, so if you have "full" feet they would work for you. My feet are normal sized so I use a small, foam shoe liner and it makes the fit perfect.

These are great in-house slippers that can also go outside. But the size varies depending on where it is made: if Poland, they are large, and if Ukraine, they are small! We had to order several pairs to get it right.

I have worn Haflingers Grizzly and similar ones with hard cork soles from them for about 10 years. I loved them and use them for slippers all day often as I wear orthodics inside my regular Mary Jane shoes. However, I noticed the backs (the felt top part) of Haflingers ripping after a few months. Read online the leather trimmed Grizzly is best for this problem. Love them the best - highly recommend this one of all the Haflingers!
