This is my third pair of shoes this style and I love them. My only problem is that with the leather trim, they're not loosening up as much as the ones I have without trim and with the ribbon trim. No problem, though. I just don't wear socks! I figure they'll loosen up eventually. In terms of size, I knew what to order because I already had the other two pairs.

My son has a pair and recommended these. I bought these to wear inside instead of slippers. Great arch support and very comfortable. They fit perfectly with my cotton athletic socks but a are little large with thinner dress socks.

Just received these for Christmas, found they are a little snug but will stretch to conform to my foot. I am hoping that these will hold up in snow. These are probably my 6 pair. All my others with the exception of one pair have held up well in the snow.

These shoes are my husband's all-time favorites for wearing around the house, but they can also be worn outdoors in nice weather. The leather trim makes the heel feel a little bit firmer than the regular trim, which he likes.

I have always worn a size 38 in Haflinger clogs and I own 3 pairs that I bought from Zappos a few years ago. This new pair is much too small. I see now that the sizing states that a 38 is a U.S. size 7. It used to be a U.S. size 8. Does anyone know when this changed?

These are the most comfortable shoes you can imagine. And they don't have to be broken in, although they become possibly even more comfortable after you've worn them for a while. I'm on my third or fourth pair, and they last a really long time.

I really like these shoes! I only recently discovered this brand, and they are really great. Very well made. I got the charcoal, and it's a nice color, very dark gray, almost black. I am between a size 7 and 7.5, and the 38 is pretty much an exact fit to the millimeter, so they run a bit small. I might prefer another half inch of room, but I think the 39 will be too big. I will keep them happily. Zappos delivered quickly as usual! Love Zappos!

I got these and I love them. Arch support for days! My partner kept razzing me, "Oh, you and your hundred-dollar slippers and I finally said, Look. Try them on. He did. Oh my God! and he said arch support. I want a pair. Now he has a pair of his own. Size wise I am a 13 and I wear a 46 in these. They do fit tight at first, but the eventually stretch out a bit. I can't wait to go home so I can put them on after work, but I do wear them out of the house sometimes, to walk the dog or zip over to the co-op.

Just got my clogs today. I usually wear a size 11, and the 44 seems a bit snug. Maybe they just need breaking-in. Also, the charcoal is a darker gray than in the video -- almost black.

I am satisfied with the shoes and (as always) the quick shipment from Zappos. The shoes are very warm and comfy. There is a minor stitching problem where a thread loop is coming undone, but I will wait to see if it worsens before I consider exchanging.

Liked the style, look, and feel, but the size is a bit big, and the clog fits too loosely. I will return and order a smaller size.

I'm now on my second pair of Haflingers, and can attest to the quality of these slippers. The first pair lasted nearly 3 years of near-everyday use. The wool is thick, but it's such a good insulator that these slippers are as comfortable in the summer as the winter. They're reasonably lightweight, and the tread provides good grip for trips outdoors (and even the occasional quick trip to the store). These are very comfortable slippers. They have a very supportive arch, a bit like Birkenstocks, although more comfortable to my feet. I don't care for the feel of the label that's sewn in under the arch/heel, but it can be removed without much trouble. After three years, the wool on my last pair is beginning to separate from the cork foot bed, although they're still holding together. How great are these slippers? My wife - even though her feet are smaller than mine - has claimed my old slippers, because even falling apart they're still "the comfiest ever."

These shoes have been my favorites for 10 years. I wear them around the house and outside summer and winter. The soles are great in ice and snow.

This is my first purchase from Zappos but the service could not have been better. This is my second pair of Haflinger Grizzlies and the price was as reasonable as I could find. These shoes were recommended by my podiatrist and I wore my last pair out over 3-4 years. I am really pleased with these clogs.

Nothing is more comfortable and supportive for me, they make my tired feet feel great.

This is the fourth pair of Haflinger wool clogs I've owned and needless to say I love them. The are supportive yet comfy, fit true to size and still provide enough room for a sock. They can be worn as slippers or walking shoes.

I live in these shoes whenever possible year-round, out doors and indoors, barefoot or with socks, in all but the wettest or hottest weather. They are the most reliably comfortable shoes I have ever found.

I am a 7.5 and I always wear a 38 in Birks and other EU sizes. The length of these clogs was perfect in the 38 for me but they felt too loose on the top of my foot. They are adorable and comfy but sadly I have to return them. I have a low volume foot so I will have to try another brand.

I switched to these (from Birkenstock sandals) for wear around the house now that I have an achille's tendon problem and need some heel. They really help. After trying both 42 and 43, I've found that I have to get the insole size that I need (42) and then stretch the (initially very tight) wool upper until it fits. This is easier if you get the upper damp in the areas you want to stretch. So, not a fit initially, but there's a method to get them fitting right.

I use these at work (standing a lot) and find them very comfortable over the long hall. Both warm and breathable with excellent support. I usually wear a size US 12, but needed a size US13 (46) for proper fit. Even with the larger size they are snug, but not uncomfortably so, in terms of width. This is the second pair of Haflinger slip-ons I own and find them quite durable and overall a good buy.

These are very comfy, just what I wanted, except for one minor flaw: there's an extra half-layer of felt in the footbed that has an abrupt edge right under the arch of my foot. It was feeling a bit uncomfortable. I thought it would press down and smooth out in time, but I finally had to help it by working on it with a razor blade. It's fine now.

A very attractive slipper with a cork sole; however, the main problem is that they seem to run very large. I wear a size 7, or Euro 38, and these were too big all over. I question the whole idea of "unisex" sizing. I have a slightly wide foot, but it is not the same as a man's foot. I think the slipper sizing might be fine for a man.

Ordered charcoal grey, black was delivered, should have sent them back, the black is constantly covered with lint & pet fur so they look dirty always. They've ended up being a very expensive pair of house shoes. Also, they don't fit as well as the classic, a little too wide & sloppy on the foot.

The sole has already started to peel away from upper! I haven’t worn them in 1 year and just out them on again and saw they were defective. I need to find some type of glue.

These slippers are very tall and my feet don't stay in them - I've always worn the same size in this brand and even exchanged for a smaller size. These slippers appear to have change. Also, the foot bed feels more shallow and significantly less supportive.
