Love love love!!!

Originally bought the 39 because I am a true size 8, but those were a full size too big, so I returned them for the 38. Color grey. Really pretty, warm, great arch support. My mom is the one who started me down the path of Haflinger clogs because wearing them basically cured her Plantar fasciitis symptoms. These are WIDE shoes which is great for me because I have wide feet. Are comfortable with socks or without. Also, Zappos makes returns/exchanges to easy, that I don't buy online from any other retailers. Their support staff is amazing, I always get the best customer service from Zappos. I won't even go to another retailer who has a lower price, have learned my lesson there...

Great slip on for errands and walks with the pups. Ordered normal size and they are great with and without socks...Just what I was looking for and needed!

I love this shoe! So comfortable and cozy cute! The arch support is fantastic! I only wish I could wear them out of the house. But they are great support for walking around the house while tidying up and cooking or even "house-walking" as I try to top off my 10,000 steps.

I usually wear a 7.5 or a 38, the 7 in these fit perfectly. They have good arch support and are cozy. They conform to your foot the more that you wear them.

A great shoe that I wear both indoors and out. Warm and comfortable with great support; my last pair lasted ten years.

These are not the most stylish, but they are the perfect house shoe. The soles have good traction and the arch support is pretty good. I have plantar fasciitis and I wear these around the house constantly. These are my second pair; my first pair I kept for four years but the cork was separating from the clog and decided it was time to replace them. Definitely seal the cork as well as that will help them last longer.

I'm shraring my experience in the hopes that it will help others struggling with sizing! This is my first pair of Haflingers, and it was a real process for me -- this is actually the third pair I tried before getting the fit right. I am a perfect 41 in Birkenstocks, so I ordered a 41 in the Haflinger Spirit, but it was enormous! The footbed felt correct (it hit my feet in the right spots), but the upper was way too huge and roomy; I couldn't keep them on my feet. Sent those back and got a 40, again in the Spirit style, and this one felt more than one size smaller than the 41. The upper felt a bit better, but the footbed was just too short and unaligned with my foot. So I did a little (ok, a LOT) of research and I read that the GZ Classic Grizzly has a snugger fit -- a "tighter entry" is how I read it described! -- and not suitable for those with high insteps. I have kind of a low-volume foot (a low instep? who knows?), so I rolled the dice and ordered these in a 41. THEY ARE PERFECT. Oh my goodness, I love them. The footbed can be a tad aggressive at first (all that support!), but after about 2 days they're perfect. I can stand in them for hours on hard floors and my feet are pain free, as is my lower back. Pricey, but totally worth it. Warm, supportive... I can't wait to come home from work and put them on.I'm so glad I toughed it out and kept trying! My only complaint is that the "peat moss" color is MUUUUUCH paler in person than it appears on the website. Meh, I'm fine with it. Still a nice neutral, just lighter than I thought.

These are perfect for wearing around the house. I have tile in my kitchen and can no longer go barefoot. These slip on and I don't even think about it. Sturdy enough to go outside but generally I don't use them for outside wear.

I bought these slippers as a gift for my daughter in law for Christmas. My son suggested this as a gift because she gave him a pair for his birthday. He loves them, so I anticipate she will too. Love Zappos

Love the haflinger grizzly - they are warm with good support and great for almost anyone's feet, especially if you need good arch support AND if Zappos sends you the correct size you order : / I recently ordered a pair of size 38 and they sent me size 27 - Of course my size is not available now for exchange. I was very annoyed, but have to say this was the first time something like this happened after years of being a (usually happy) Zappos customer : )

Excellent as a slipper or shoe. I have been wearing these for years. They give me the excellent arch support I need. I recommend these to anyone looking for a cozy winter house shoe. I wear them completely out about every 3 years and they do need replacing, but that could be said of any shoe that one wears constantly.

I bought these for my sister who is hard to fit. She just loves them and raved to me about the fit and comfort. She wears them for casual outings and feels good in them. She loved the color and the trim.

These clogs are absolutely HUGE. I ususally wear a 38, but wanted to wear them with heavy socks, so I ordered a 39. They were extra long and extra wide. So I sent them back and ordered a size 38. Hopefully the 38's will fit.

This is my fourth pair of Haflingers and I highly recommend them. So comfortable, warm in winter, and great for indoors and out. I rarely wear socks with them. I keep one pair for just indoors. When fall rolls around, out come the Haflingers!

Wearing them new, with thick socks, these feel a bit snug but I can tell that they will stretch a bit to fit to my foot. Comfortable foot bed and warm for Minnesota winters.

I wear my Halfingers as indoor slippers. This is my 3 pair. I started wearing them when I had arch issues. I wear them year round. Great construction, stability, support. Awesome shoe!

I first tried them on barefoot and was a bit concerned that they would be too big. They felt sloppy on my feet without socks. But with a pair of hand knit socks they were PERFECTION! I wear a 42 in Birkenstock Arizonas and a 41 in Birkenstock Gizeh for comparative purposes. I just hope they don't wear too quickly. My last pair lasted 2 weeks before the wool upper started pulling away from the foot bottom. I'm hoping it was just a defective pair with a bad glue job.

I love these- wear them all the time. Easy on/off, and keep your feet warm. Definitely recommend.

This is a great little shoe!! My feet are impossible to please, and yet this shoe is comfortable and supportive. For reference, I'm flat-footed, have narrow heels, and one medium and one wide foot (due to bunion), and a little metatarsalgia thrown into the mix!! I plan to use it as a house slipper. It actually makes my size 10 feet look diminutive! One suggestion for those of you who have thin feet. If the shoe top sits too high above the top of your feet, as it did for me, you can simply add an insole. I used the insole from my new balance 880's (since I have my own orthotics). It worked great. The shoe no longer feels sloppy. Imagine a really comfortable birkenstock. I can't wait for winter - it's so warm, but not too warm for Spring in New England! Also, this shoe is not at all itchy for super-sensitive types. I highly recommend it. And I highly recommend Zappos for letting me return so many shoes due to difficult feet!!

I think these are too big. I bought a size 5 and they feel big anyway. I usually wear 5.5 or 6. They’re perfect with socks and very comfortable for my planter fasciitis. I just wish a size 4 were available.

I owned a pair of these 20 years ago & loved them and they are still the same great quality. I had a big problem with the sizing however. I usually wear a size 7W and the sizing guide for this shoe said I should buy a size 38. It was much too large so I ordered a size 37 and they were still too big. I finally ordered a 36, which the sizing guide says equals US size 5, and they fit perfectly. Seems they run at least 1 1/2 sizes larger.

Love these shoes. Didn’t realize I’d owned them for over 2 1/2 years already. They have held up really well. My feet tend to overheat and I was worried about the wool. NOPE! No problems with overheating. This our my go to home slippers. Love them!
