I bought these for my daughter, who wears the same size as me but whose foot is a slightly different shape. In my normal size 40 (9 US), my heel seemed pushed back onto the heel of the slipper. I tried the size 41 and though roomy, my foot sat more properly in the footbed. HOWEVER-- my daughter fits just fine in the 40, doesn't feel the heel cup is wrong, and thinks even if the material stretches these will continue to fit, whereas the larger ones would have become swimmingly large. in sum, normal shoe size seems mostly to work. Another however-- the instep is kind of low and someone with a very high instep may have problems, at least unless the slipper stretches across there.

This is the 2nd pair for my husband! He wore the other ones out! They lasted a long time for daily wear in and out of the house through all kinds of weather, including snow! He may have even worked in them some. He loves them!

These are trustworthy slippers, as they have been for the at least two decades I have been wearing them. I replace them about once every third or fourth year. Very comfortable with or without socks. I bought the 12s and they do feel a little large, but for a slipper, that is no issue! Great slippers!

I have worn Haflinger hardsole slippers for years. I like them because they are comfortable, not so warm your feet get sweaty, and they have nice arch support. My last pair wore out at the back after a couple of years, but the plusses keep me coming back.

These are really nice slippers. They are warm but breathe so your foot stays comfortable. The hard sole provides just enough support too. My first pair lasted more than five years. These are a bit different but still well made and like no other slipper. My husband replaced his old pair too. He’s very pleased with the new pair.

Personally, I've had the hard sole one for years and finally convinced my husband to get a pair after his ancient soft sole slippers were getting more and more ragged. He doesn't adapt well to change and I was worried that he was going to freak out about the change. NOPE! He loves them. I admit, he tripped once or twice before he adjusted to the fact that they're not as slippy-slidey on the wooden floor as his old ones were, but, so far, no concussions!

I normally wear size (9 us).The size that fits me in this slipper is 43 (US Men’s 10). This is my second pair of these exact same slippers in the last 3 years. Both pairs were size 43, so I would recommend ordering 1 full size up.I automatically now order 1 full size up. They are the perfect slipper, when these wear out I’ll order another of the same. When they fit the’re perfect- you can’t beat perfect !!!!

I have many foot problems, and walking barefoot or with almost no support is painful. Over the years I've spent a fortune on slippers that didn't work for me. Finally, slippers that work. They have arch support. They are made of a fabric that continues to hold my feet properly but at the same time has enough ease to it so that it doesn't create painful pressure. At first I thought they might be too tight, but by the third day they'd loosened up while retaining their shape and support. I step into these when I wake up and on days when I'm home all day, they are on my feet until bedtime. Some people have mentioned that the soles leave easy-to-clean marks on the floor. I haven't had that problem. It's so much fun to be in love with your slippers!

Great slippers very soft and mold to the foot . The color grey is neutral but rich glad I ordered the grey doesn’t show bits of dust like dark color would.

I’ve been wearing these for years. They start out a little tight but stretch with time, so I didn’t want anything larger. Eventually (after a year or so) they are hard to keep on my feet!

I love the Haflinger hardsole slipper. I used to slip on my hardwood floors with the other soles, but these are much, much better. They feel comfortable, warm, and true to size.

i love these slippers. bought a pair with soft sole and now got these with hard sole for outside in the wet northwest even getting the mail requires slippers with soles. these slippers are U BER COMFY!

I ordered an 11 and it was a tad bit small. My heel rode atop the rim of the felt. Size 12 fits well, especially with a thicker pair of socks.

I bought these for my husband and he will never wear another type of slipper. His favorite part is that even in the heat of the summer they ventilate enough and his feet don’t sweat. Going to get a pair for myself!!

These slippers are warm and comfortable, just what I was looking for. They replaced Haflinger slippers that were 4 years old, very worn out. These are an updated version of what I had, with a black flexible sole. I wear them around the house all the time. The arch support isn't as good as a shoe but good for me. I would buy them again. I ordered a dark blue, with little light flecks in them. Not too showy but attractive. Thank you Zappos! They have an excellent return policy. This is the 3rd slipper I've tried.

I loved the shoe/slipper. It was very comfortable and the quality of the wool upper was supreme. I tried the 38 and it was too small. My heel hit the ridge on the back of the shoe. I tried the 39 and it was way too big. I feel like Goldilocks. The sole is very flexible and my preference is a harder sole, but I would have kept them if they fit.

I have been buying the AT Classic for several years now and just bought another pair. They are very comfortable and have just enough support. Yes, my old ones have a hole in the toe but I have worn them a lot for a few years. They are slippers and I expect to replace them every few years. They are expensive for slippers but they fit well and support my neutral arch, so they are worth it to me.

These were actually a gift for my elderly mother, so I'm hoping they will work for her as well as they do us. These are the only slippers that I and my husband will wear anymore. I have narrow, boney feet, his are normal, strong feet. The wool hugs my feet and keeps them warm. I love the soles which are supportive, yet comfortable, and cushy enough for the lack of natural padding on the balls of my feet. I can run outside if needed without worrying about ruining them. I wear a women's 9.5 shoe; I wear a size 40 in these slippers. They are slightly snug when I first start wearing a new pair, but ease into a perfect fit fairly quickly. They might get a bit loose over time; they are wool, not leather after all... Both my husband and I work at home almost every day, and these slippers are what we wear in the house except during the hottest months of the year (we live in the NW). I've had my current pair for 2 years. After two years of mostly daily use, the wool is a bit worn around the base of the heel, but that's it! This is my 4th or 5th pair over the decades, and this pair shows no sign yet of needing to be replaced. I have gone through the big toes in all of my previous pairs, but it takes awhile. That's what usually gets me to buy a new pair. But so far the current two year old pair are fine.

Looks good which os important to me. Some people think slippers don't have to have style, I think they should. These slippers are soft and quiet as I walked on my hardwood floors. They're comfortable and helpful for folks with plantar fascitis. I'm satisfied with this pair of slippers. Few months ago,I bought a pair of slippers before this one and I was unhappy with the fit and style. This pair is it!

I love these slippers. I had previously had a different pair of Haflinger slippers which were super cute, but I was sliding on my bare wood floors. I got the hard-sole slippers in place of the others. I couldn't be more happy with the exchange. They are easy on and off and I have solid footing. They are warm but comfortable even though I am in Florida. I felt they run very true to size. I also think they are made well. They do stretch so if you are in-between sizes, I would opt for the smaller one. That being said, I would highly recommend them. I find them more comfortable an cooler than my Uggs although I like them as well.

I got a size up from what I usually get as recommended by other reviewers and I'm glad I did. The length is only just a bit longer and the upper hugs my foot snugly. It should be fine even if the upper stretches out a bit with wear. Having had the slippers without the hard soul, I think these are going to be preferable. The former really stretches out to the point of sloppiness and I don't think these will. I've been a big Haflinger fan for years and these seem ready to add to my good experiences with the brand.

I absolutely love these! So comfortable and perfect for wearing around the house. If you’ve suffered from planters fasciitis these are definitely great slippers.

Wonderful!! Love having slippers with arch support; they did stretch a little (wool felt) if they feel short consider 1 size smaller.
