I meant to replace what I thought were identical slippers. However the old ones have felt soles, these have rubber and are not as comfortable for me. They are of excellent quality.

I had a pair of the AS style years ago. I loved them but they only lasted a year before the sole wore out. I decided to try the AT this time. I thought the hard sole would last longer. I got an 8. I usually wear a 8 1/2. They are sooooo comfy. I bought the dark brown because they were on sale. I like the dark color. They are not the most feminine slipper that I have ever seen, but I need a slipper with arch support. They provide that.

I can't say enough good things about these slippers. I have high arches and poor circulation, and these are both warm and supportive. I used to have soft soled Haflingers, but after a year or two the stitching between the sole and upper began to fray and come loose. Also, the soft sole didn't provide as much support, especially after the slipper had stretched out a bit. These should be more durable. My husband has had a pair for two years and they're still in good shape! Also, a note on sizing: Some reviews say they run small, but I've found that they pretty quickly stretch to fit your foot. I think if I'd sized up I would have eventually regretted it. I'm a women's size 6/6.5 and can comfortably wear thick socks with my size 37 slippers.

Just bought my second pair in about five years. Yes, they’re wool, so they stretch and breathe but they don’t hurt my feet so I bought my usual size 7. The nice thing is that my usually sweaty feet don’t have an odor in these! They don’t sweat as much.

This is my third pair of Haflinger AT Classic Hardsole slippers. I just received these in the mail and tried them on once so far. They fit like the last ones, in that they seem slightly short and snug at first. But the fabric does stretch a bit over a short amount of time and then they fit perfectly. I love them because they are warm and cozy and they offer great support. If I need to go outside briefly, I like that I can wear these without worrying they'll be destroyed. My last pair I wore for almost a couple of years, even in the summer, and only recently did the fabric begin to get thin in a couple of areas around my toes. I bought these new ones in the brown because the price was so good. I think the brown is just as cute as the other colors I've had.

Very uncomfortable and narrow

these are such comfortable, practical slippers. I had my last pair for a few years and had finally worn two large holes in the top. Was so glad to get a new pair because they were much snugger and felt even better. i guess overtime the stretch out a bit but it is such a slow process that you don't notice it because they still are comfortable. love that because of the rubber sole I can go outside in them to get the paper . These are the only slipper i want and have had this same style for over 8 years now. Hope they keep making them.

I bought these for my husband. He wears sz 11 in a dress shoe and 11 1/2 in athletic shoe. I bought the 11 (44). They fit perfectly. He really likes them and wears in the summer without feet getting too hot. They are comfortable with good arch support. I would recommend.

I know it seems like this is a steep price for house shoes, but they are worth every penny. Pros: 1. Keep my feet warm without making them sweat. I wear them in winter and summer (and Houston summers are HOT). 2. Excellent support: our house has tile throughout, and I can stand in these for hours at a time without my back hurting. 3. Durable soles: although these are primarily for the house, sometimes I need to leave the house for a quick errand, and I can wear these, even in damp conditions. Cons (?): 1. Not stylish. 2. The uppers wear out quicker than the soles. 3. They really do stretch out quite a lot. If they are a perfect fit when you buy them, they will eventually be quite loose. Highly recommend. When mine finally wear out completely, I will buy another pair immediately.

Bought these for the wife. She said they are very comfortable and cant wait to get them on when she gets home from work. I like the fact that they are made in poland instead of like 99% of all other products being made in china.

I like the simple style. I ordered a half size larger than I normally take and at first even that was a bit snug, but within a couple of days' use they began to form-fit became very comfortable, warm and snug.

Just got mine today and they are absolute perfection. Fit: perfection. Comfort: perfection. Looks: A++ Ordered size 9, normally wear size 81/2 LOVE!

This is my latest pair of Haflinger AT hardsole "slippers" (3 pairs over the last 12 years - they wear well, and I wear them almost daily). They are comfortable, break in easily, offer good support, and are beautiful. My street shoe size is usually US 8 but occasionally US 7&1/2; Haflinger's size 38 is perfect. They mold to one's feet: I can wear them barefoot with no sloppiness and can wear them with medium wool socks with no squeezing. I unreservedly and enthusiastically recommend them!

I luv these slippers! This is my second pair. I wear these all the time with socks while at home because they are so comfortable & supportive. I usually wear size 6 1/2 so I ordered size 37. Initially they felt short but after wearing them several days they feel just right. They have great soles for walking outside too! They aren't cheap but no other slippers compare to the comfort & suuport of these great slippers.

These are the best! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Got these for my mom for christmas. She lives in New Hampshire and winter is cold. She wore shoes in the house to keep her feet warm and thought she would like something more comfortable. She didn't think she would like them, but she did. Rubber sole has good grip, I did not want get her slippers that slipped when she walked on hard wood floors and stairs.

Because of heel pain, I need slippers with good arch support. These are wonderful. I can't bear to walk around without them. I agree that the boiled wool gets matted, but I am so happy with the comfort that I don't care.

OMG... they are So comfortable that I walked out of my house Christmas Eve and did last minute shopping...not a sole noticed that I was in my bedroom shoes...they look so much like regular clogs. My sister-in-law tuned me into these 3 weeks ago and I just cannot express how much I love them. They are the most comfortable ones I've ever had. They are the warmest...easiest to slip into. I even had my best friend to order some..she ordered a different style.

I am between sizes, so I ended up ordering up so that I wouldn't risk stretching the fabric too much. Not sure that I could fit thick socks in these, but I shouldn't have to because they are SO WARM! Very supportive, and I love that the soul is sturdy. They also don't put much as much dog hair and I thought, so they don't spread it around the apartment. Although expensive, I think they will last a long time and are a great investment.

My husband LOVES these slippers! He wears them every day and they are warm but don't make his feet hot. They are his "go to" house shoe! Worth every penny.

I have flat feet and have to be very careful about what footwear I wear, and can never stand being barefoot while working in the kitchen, doing housework, etc. I hate wearing shoes in the house and I have tried several different types of slippers that didn't give the support I need. I read so many good reviews of these I thought I'd give them a try. The first pair was a full size too short so I had to return them, but Zappos makes exchanges easier than anyone - so quick and easy, so not a big deal. The larger pair works - they have great arch support and are comfortable during long hours cooking and cleaning in the kitchen. Happy with my purchase.

Incredibly comfy and supportive - so much better for my plantar fasciitis than bare foot or in other slippers.

I've been wearing these slippers around the house for a few weeks and they have continued to get more comfortable over time, gradually conforming to my feet. I've been frequently wearing them with socks, which I would highly recommend - the sock + slipper friction effect helps the slippers stay on. I have narrow feet and these slippers are a bit on the wider side, so the socks help mitigate that as well. That said, in terms of length of footbed, it seems like they definitely run small so you might consider sizing up. I've also noticed some black scuff marks on the hardwood floors, which hasn't been a deal breaker for me but is something to consider when deciding between these and the soft sole version. I have enjoyed the hard soles overall - it's nice to be able to wear them out to get the mail or sweeping off the porch. Overall, I've enjoyed this pair very much and it seems like they will hold up well through the winter months.
