Great shoes, very comfortable, EXCEPT that the soles - made of overly soft rubber - left marks all over my wooden flooring! I did not run around in these slippers, or do anything but casually and gently walk across the floor -- yet I had black marks everywhere. It's a shame, because otherwise these slippers are great. I am returning them.

I bought these slippers about one year ago. I am disappointed with them because they stretched out what seems to be an entire size. They also ripped out in the big toe on both right and left slippers. I had a pair of these seven years ago in navy blue and I loved them - that is why I bought again, but this time in gray heather. They are warm, stylish and the hard soles are terrific to walk outside on deck and grass of my yard. However, the boiled wool just does not hold up. I have worn these slippers most everyday for a year and the quality is not there. Will not buy another pair - looking for something other than boiled wool.

I originally received a pair of these slippers as a gift in size 43, but they felt very snug, so I exchanged for a 44. That turned out to be a mistake. Within a month the size 44 (which felt just right at first) stretched a lot, to the point where it would often fall off my foot when walking up or down the stairs quickly. I was busy at the time and didn't want to deal with a second return so just lived with slippers that felt too big. One year later I was sick of the too large slippers, so I purchased another of the same slipper but in size 43. As before, they felt way too snug at first, but within a week or so stretched to just the right size. If only they stopped stretching at that point! Unfortunately they did keep stretching and now, just like the size 44's, are now too big for my feet. Worse, after just three months of ownership, they are starting to fall apart on the inside. The stuffing is coming out from the inner sole, and the inner sole liner is starting to come loose around the toes. It'd be one thing if these were inexpensive throw-away slippers, but for this price I expect a whole lot more. Count me as one very, very disappointed customer.

I did buy this slipper size larger and wider, they fit perfect with socks on. In 2 months they have stretched 1 inch larger and make walking very hazardous. Paid quite a bit, they are ready to go in the garbage. Zappos is great but this product I would not recommend.

I had a similar pair of Haflingers that I liked, but after a while they are so loose you have to strain your foot to keep them on. I was hoping these would be better, but these were worse. Couldn't walk in them without them slipping off. Return immediately.

Glad they still had this older model, plan on ordering more.

They fit and are very comfortable. I am very satisfied.

These slippers are great especially since they are indoor and outdoor slippers. Highly recommend

I get a new pair of these slippers each year. The arch support is good without being uncomfortable. They stretch out over time. I typically wear a size 7-71/2 sneaker but I buy these in size 6 (37) so they still fit once they stretch out.

While Haflinger slippers are very comfortable, after wearing only a few weeks, a hole formed in the toe area of the shoe. Would like to exchange for same slipper, size and color.

Note: I ordered 1-full size larger than my standard ASICS running shoe size, and the fit was perfect.

These slippers were a gift for my son. They were a bit too small so I need to return for a size larger as I was unsure of his usual European size. Beautiful slippers and we love this brand and Zappos!

These are so comfy and cozy! I am loving them!

I have been wearing Halfliger slippers for 20 years! When one pair wears out after about 18 months I order another. Best fitting and most comfortable for my troublesome feet.

Perfect in every way. Fit is good. A little snug but these shoes do tend to relax a bit with age and wear.

Good fit and size. Very comfortable but sturdy.

Super comfortable and with good arch support. These are my second pair. My first paid probably lasted about 2 years before I got a hole in the top part, which is a pretty common issue for me in sneakers as well.

Excellent shoe with a natural stance with moderate cushion. Soles are durable enough to occasionally wear outside.

Good overall

This time I have the right size. My original purchase was a bit small when I used the size calculator. It calculated my 71/2 to a 38, when the 39 is perfect! Much happier now and love the comfort of these slippers:) As previously stated in last review, I feel they are a bit pricier than a slipper should be.

Great, comfortable slippers with adequate arch support.
