I ordered a 39-40 size 9. I got a 38 in a 40 box! Needless to say, I need the right size.

These were big and sloppy and the speckled purple color was hideous. They went back immediately.

Love wearing these things but have had them for only 7 months and they developed the dreaded (and seemingly common) hole above the toe area. Clearly a design defect.

I've worn Haflingers for years. Their fit, comfort, and arch support satisfies and even surpasses my expectations for keeping my body supported while wearing a slipper. The hard sole pushes it over the top, providing indoor-outdoor ease. Unfortunately, the quality just isn't what it was. Do not expect your Haflinger slippers to last longer than 8 months before holes appear at the big toe area on the top of the slipper. To be clear, my feet are normal if not, narrow, women's size 7. My big toe is not unusually long. In fact, my feet are in perfect proportion and, frankly they are beautiful. I have not found a comparable slipper option that has the arch support of Haflingers. I wear the slippers with the hole. They can last for a while, just not so pretty. When I first purchased this brand over 20 years ago, my slippers lasted for 10 years! Maybe not 10 but a very long time and without holes. It really is a shame. The hole in the slipper is like a gaping wound in the integrity for making a decent pair of $100 slippers that will last at least a year.

These are well-made slippers with a nice arch support but expensive. Sadly, a "big toe hole" has appeared (see photo). Since I live in the desert in the US, I only wear slippers for maybe 3 months out of the year. At the price I paid, these slippers should have lasted years, not one winter season.

These are not worth the price. Normal wear a few hours a day and they wore out in a year. The sole didn't wear out but the top material did and they looked horrible, full of fuzz and fabric thinning.

HORRIBLE QUALITY CONTROL! Received worn slippers! No tag attached, tissue paper thrown in box. Slippers had clearly been worn and returned. I contacted the company via email and got a ridiculous response of "Sometimes things don't work they way they're expected..." What a joke of a response. How about admitting fault and apologizing for delivering nasty, worn slippers? Then they refunded me all except for the $5 in taxes. Of course I disputed this with Amazon, who is currently handling it on my behalf. I will NEVER order anything from this company nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. (I wonder if they'll even let this review go thru)

Please understand this is a Christmas gift and it hasn't been opened yet. So please stop sending me questionnaires. Thank you

I WOULD RETURN THESE IF I COULD. I can't stress that enough. In less than a month these slippers stretched beyond wear. Per the other reviews, I ordered a size down but that did not make a difference. I wholeheartedly DO NOT recommend these slippers.

Received these Nov 1 and have had holes for about 2 months (happened within 4 months of indoor wear)The holes are right where big toes end on both slippers. Turns out other reviewers have said they got holes in the exact place. I have only worn them indoors. I really love how comfortable they are to wear on my hardwood floors but really hesistate to buy again because of the holes that developed. They also do leave scuffs on the floor which is annoying but I can live with that as it just rubs off. Not happy about the holes though for the price. Always wore ugg slippers before for years with no issues.

I ordered a size 37 which is the usual size in wear in Haflinger footwear. They were a bit small. I called Zappos and exchanged them for a size 38. I couldn't even get my toe in! The label on the shoe does indeed state 38. Not sure what's going on, but I am so disappointed. Returning the size 38.

What a disappointment! I have purchased several pairs of this style in the past and absolutely loved them. My current pai is two years old and looking a little ratty, so I bought yet another pair. They are completely dumbed down from previous pairs--there is now a seam going down the middle and it rubs against the top of the foot, the wool is half the thickness of my previous pair and the sole is not nearly as sturdy. Unfortunately I am moving on to another brand.

They wore out in 15 months. Not worth the money. Go buy shitty flimsy slippers and keep replacing. You will save money.

Bought a pair for my wife and after less than a year of VERY MINIMAL wear (they're too warm for summer wear), they have developed holes over the the big toe in each shoe. Nice shoes while they lasted, but way too expensive for this kind of shoddy wear. I would not recommend buying these.

Love these slippers when I received them. They were very comfortable and had good arch support. Unfortunately, they have not held up and there is already a hole in the wool after less than a year of owning this slippers. For the price, I would expect them to last much longer and I am very disappointed in the durability.

This was my second try. The black sole marked up our tile floors....everywhere...I called the company and they said that this should not happen, so I tried them again with the same problem. They would be great for carpet though.

Though these feel fantastic, the rubber sole leaves scuff marks on hardwoood floors. The ones without the rubber do not have this problem.

These are the most comfortable slippers. The rubber sole is great for going out to get the paper, take out trash, etc. The big problem is they leave scuff marks all over our tile floors. I called the company and they said that the slippers should not do that. But they do! I am very disappointed.

Loved these slippers however they left scuff marks on every floor of out house. I'm hoping to find them with a non marking sole.
