Had to return as I got one full size US larger and they still felt too small (heel hanged off the back a little bit to the point of it being annoying). They were a little tight in width, but figure they would have stretched out if I had kept them. Other than size issues, I really liked them and they seemed like they'd be warm but breathable. I really wish they would have worked for me.
I ended up getting another style from Haflinger and did not have size issues. But, the comments on these running very small are true.

Went ahead and spent the money on an expensive slipper, but within a few months they have holes at end of each big toe. I expect more wear out of a shoe like that. Otherwise I like them fine. Boring but toasty and comfy.

Hands down, THE most comfortable slipper for tender feet. These things custom molded to my feet like a dream. I wore them whenever I was home, and they made my feet seriously happy.
However....after only six months, the wool fell apart. As in loose & torn & flapping in the breeze. The company holds a warranty, but naturally, it's only for six months, so I was outside the covered time period.
My feet already miss these, but I can't afford to drop this much money on slippers over and over again only for them to keep wearing out. I'm really bummed out.

I LOVE these slippers (especially the arch support) but they are leaving black marks all over our floors. How can I prevent those marks?

I'm looking for supportive slippers that I can wear without socks. For sensitive skin, these are too itchy. Also, the sole is thin and flexible compared to the Ugg Tasman to which I am accustomed.
They ARE very comfortable though. Great insole support for the foot.

I thought these were fantastic until they fell apart. I got the 36 because that's what size I am in everything else, but needed to trade them in for a 37. I wore these for 2.5 years and only indoors until my big toe poked a hole clean through the top. I've never had that happen with a slipper before, and was really disappointed that it happened with a pair this expensive. I thought they would last much longer than my Lands End fleece slippers, which are 1/4 of the price, but lasted twice as long.

Ordered a 10 because I often take a 9 1/2 in this type of toe box. The 10 felt fine, I've worn them for less then 2 weeks and they are stretched out so much it's like I have boats on. I should have ordered a 9 I guess. That's the reason for the "overall" being a 3, other wise I liked them a lot.

Been looking for a sleeper that will keep my feet warm and not make them sweat. Ordered a 10 because I'm a 9 1/2 often. Tried them on when I got them, thought they'd be fine. After wearing them for 2 weeks they've stretched out to the point I really can't wear them. I guess I should have ordered the 9. That's the reason for the 3 overall.

I loved these slippers. The only problem was that they left black marks all over my hardwood floors. If I had carpeting I would keep them for sure. They are so comfortable. I needed them in one size larger than I normally wear, though.

I purchased two pairs, one for my wife and myself. Within one month the top of my slipper developed a hole near the big toe. My wife has no complaints or issues.

Unfortunately these shoes did not hold up as well as I had hoped, though I loved the way they looked and feel, they really only lasted less than eight months before starting to wear down. The first to go is a hole at the top of the foot where the big toe is, then the insoles fell out and shrank after a wash. Finally I tossed them after the rubber started to crack at the heel areas.

I ordered several pairs of high-end slippers. Haflinger seems like a good quality, but in this case, I wasn't excited. The sizing was so perfect when I put it on that I knew that, after wearing it for a week or two, the cushioning would wear in and they'd be falling off my feet. Sorry but they'll have to go back.

I have had this style before in other brands, but these shoes are not comfortable. They are itchy, and lumpy. While they do have good arch support, and I like the idea of the rubber soles; they are tight on the top part of the foot. There is no way you can wear socks. They do not seem to stretch like most boiled wool. While one reviewer said they left black marks on the floor, I have not had that issue -- even on my light colored, travertine tile floors. Would not buy this brand again.

Good, not perfect I purchased these to replace my old Giesswein Dannheim slippers. While I prefer the sturdier sole and taller cuff, I find the prominent arch support can grow painful. Frankly, I prefer my old Giesswein, but they do not seem readily available in the U.S.

I was looking for a supportive house shoe that has a street sole. These felt okay but for the price we paid, I would like more support. I have a high arch and tend to have foot and leg pain when I don't wear a supportive shoe.

These are not going to last long. If you are kickin' around the house with these bad boys through the winter they are a one-season slipper for sure. The wool is loosely woven and soft; so it is comfortable but...the toe is already showing signs of use and they have only been wore for two months - they also have a tendency to leave scuff marks everywhere! (Sole is soft.) The soft sole and soft wool is not so soft on the budget.

For the money, I wish I had gone with another brand. They are very scratchy inside and the soles are a little harder than I would like. Okay for getting the paper, but not a "comfy" slipper to wear around the house.

I purchased these as a gift for my son. My husband has had several pairs of the classic grizzly clogs and my son has borrowed them on occasion. I looked under slippers and did not see the shoe. So ordered this style. The soles leave black streaks on the floor which is very annoying. In writing the review I should have looked under clogs. I now see that Zappos in fact does have the classic listed under clogs. Darn.

My first pair lasted for several years and I absolutely loved them. I replaced them when they were worn down. The second pair didn’t even last a year and a hole developed. Thought it was a fluke. I bought a third pair and they too developed a hole. The quality is not the same. They even replace metal name tag with fabric one. Disappointed

Fit and size were true. What bothered me was the annoying seam inside right in the middle that you could feel, especially if you didn't wear socks. I couldn't wear socks with the slippers because then they were too tight, so back they went. So disappointed.

It's at least 2 sizes too small. Even if you assume the wool will stretch, that's a full size too small still. And they're too stiff to be slippers, they aren't very comfortable.

Ordered several pairs of wool slippers
These were ok just wasn’t crazy about the sole as they seemed a little stiff
Probably good if you need them for outdoor use but I simply wanted house slippers so I was thrilled with the soft sole ones!
