I think my favorite thing about these shoes is their silence. I can traverse my laminate flooring without really making any sound, a true surprise given their open heel. Comfortable. A bit pricey, but I’m satisfied.

The Halfliinger AS classic slippers are excellent slippers! My orthopedic doctor recommended them to wear around the house and I wore my first pair virtually every day for a few years. When it came time to replace them I went for the very same ones with a new color. They fit perfectly, have a soft warm feel and even have arch support. The wool is a great fabric because it is soft without making my feet sweat. I’ve had many slippers before but none with this kind of fit and arch support. I’ve had foot issues (bunions, stress fracture, tendonitis) and these work perfectly for me. Well worth the investment!

It seems like a lot to spend on slippers, but I love these. They are comfy and warm. My last pair lasted two years or more.

Love these slippers. Through the years, this is probably my fourth pair. I'm retired, so they get worn a lot. Warm, cozy, good arch support.

5 stars; fifth pair; I LOVE these slippers and can’t wait each evening after work to put them on! These came a little smaller this time (even though they are my size); but I am stretching them out and they are fitting better daily. I bought these on sale, I presumed for the unpopular color, but maybe they were not quite a true 42 size? Anyway, Long Live Halflinger Slippers! The arch support is such a relief! ?????

The fit and size were good. The problem was the seam down the center of the slipper. I have Heflinger slippers from about 4 years ago, that I've totally worn out. They were super wonderful and comfortable...they didn't have that seam down the center.

I love love these slippers. The fit is perfect!! My last pair of Haflingers lasted for 10 years. They are such good quality. They do stretch a bit over time, so they may seem a little snug as first.

These slippers are AWESOME! They are super comfortable and warm. I have narrow feet and they stay on...perfectly. They seem very well made.

Been wearing these slippers for years. This must be my 6th or 7th pair. Super comfy, nice and warm, and my feet don't sweat. They last a couple years, but I wear them everywhere. Free shipping came 2 days earlier than expected! Highly recommend these slippers, and Zappos.

These are the best slippers I've ever owned! This is my second pair--the first pair did wear out in 12 months, but that's with wearing them every single day, almost non-stop. The arch support is so comfortable, and my feet stay at just the right temperature regardless of the season. They do stretch out after wearing them a few weeks. My old pair was a size larger (42) than what I bought this time (41) and I prefer the larger size, even with the stretching, but that's due to being a regular size 10.5 and finding the larger size gave me just that little extra length in the foot bed that I need with this brand. I'm not a fan of paying $80 a year for new slippers, but honestly, there is no comparison for me. I've worn Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, and others in that past, and Haflingers are my new go-to slippers!

Fit was just a bit too roomy. But very comfortable. I almost returned these slippers for that reason but thought that sizing smaller would make them be too tight. Also I thought the sole would be scratchy, but it isn’t. In fact I am loving these slippers and finding they keep my feet warm which is no mean feat - pun intended.

I have _very_ wide feet -- 8 1/2 EEEE -- so it is difficult to find slippers that fit, much less ones with adequate arch support for plantar fasciitis. I had a pair of Haflinger doggie slippers (size 39) that took a while to break in, but then served well til I wore them out. Thinking the Haflinger Bio Kurt Velcro strap might offer more adjustment for width, I ordered them for replacements. Sadly, I couldn't even get my foot in the slipper & had to send them back. I decided to give the AS Classic slipper a try (worst case I send back another pair, right?) and hit the jackpot. To be on the safe side, I ordered a size 40 vs the previous 39 to help with my extra wide feet and that turned out to be a good move. My feet slid right into the slipper & I have no problem with them being too long. I can feel that my feet are a bit wider than the footbed, but it's not a deal breaker, especially since I've found no other options for slippers with support. I just hope Haflinger doesn't decide to discontinue this style sometime in the future because these are the ones I'll be staying with.

This is my third pair of these slippers....and I wear them everyday all day around the house. They are so comfortable, don't smell, the perfect weight for the climate here in Nashville and are easy to slip on and off. I will always have a pair. The only downside is that they only last for about 2 years, and for some reason, I always end up with a hole in the big toe area of my right slipper - has to be something about the way I walk. Other than that they are perfect.

My new favorite! These slippers are indoor only but very supportive (for slippers) and a very comfortable foot bed. They wear well and are warm without being hot. Worth the price.

This is the second pair I have purchased in the last 1 1/2 years. I know others said they lasted much longer for them, however we do not wearour shoes in our home, ever, so these slippers get a lot of daily wear. I have some major problems with one of my feet and have been wearing cirrhotics for many years for one problem, and in the last couple of years I have some major arthritis in one foot causing me problems finding shoes and slippers that will work for me. Although, the first pair I received didn't seem like they would be enough support, amazingly they were more comfortable than any previous slippers I have had. I had to get a new pair as I had worn off the little red pads on the bottom and they became too slippery on my floors. They are expensive but well worth the price for my comfort.

Its's a little short on the length. About half size. This is my third pair these slippers. I really like them. The last time I bought them I got a half size larger and could wear socks with them. But over time they stretched out. After washing they would be ok again for a time. So I thought this time I would get my true size and it is day 3 of me using them. I like them and know they are going to stretch a bit. So I am not concerned that they are a little short right now. They are comfortable and worm and last about 7 years for me. I use them winter and sometimes in the summer. Like I said this is my third pair. I have NOT been disappointed with them at all.

I have had the Haflinger Boiled Wool slippers with the hard cork sole for many years. Love 'em. But I tried these---soft sole---to see how they would pack. Great Because they don't have the cork sole and the more arched top, they are flatter in my suitcase and thus I can travel with them. So comfortable, too. And of course, Zappos' service is always amazing.

I love these slippers for many reasons. I have a fairly narrow foot and I always had to wear socks with slippers. These fit fine. The weather outside these past few days has been in the upper 80's and yet I was comfortable wearing them. I also know I will be comfortable when the weather is below freezing.

I love these shoes! I have fairly narrow feet and don't generally have luck with slip-on shoes, but these have enough cushion that they stay on well. I wear them around the house almost constantly because I want some cushion for my feet on our hardwood and tile floors. They have soft soles so they are quiet when I'm walking, which is also nice for others who may be sleeping. I would advise you to get the size that feels JUST too snug because they compress a little over time. I've had mine for well over a year and I still love them.

This is my second pair of Haflingers. Like the previous pair, it wears well, is comfy and warm without being too hot, and washes nicely. The seam was annoying the first few days but that went away after a few days of wearing when the slippers broke in. I also have Lizzy, which is the style with no center seam. I find it less cushy and more apt to slide off the feet, though it's nice too. It has a touch more arch support, but I prefer the AS Classic because overly high arches hurt my feet. I tried and returned the Grizzly as the arch support is much too high. So if you are looking for somewhat less support, the Classic is a good choice. If you want tons of support, go with the Grizzly. Lizzy and the styles like it are more intermediate.

These are very nice slippers but I didn't like the feel of the seam down the center. I'm going to switch these with a non-seam version.

My husband is a big fan of these slippers, so when the old ones were worn out, nothing to do but replace them! They are comfy and work well in all home environments; he wears them in all seasons, too. They do stretch out with wear-- he ordered a half size smaller than he would normally get, and although they were a bit snug at first, they are perfect after a couple of weeks around the house.
