These pants look great and the fabric is wonderful - very light and breathable.

Very pretty trousers but I'm stunned about how big they are. While I am quite petite at 5'4 and 112 pounds, I can usually wear a size 0 and occasionally a size 2 if I make some small alterations. These trousers are HUGE. The length can always be shortened, but I could have put 1 and half of me in the waistband. And that's the size 0-2! Unfortunately they have to be returned.

These are my favorite pants! I own them in several colors and have been wearing them for many years. Due to my age (over 50), I no longer wear shorts but I live in the VERY HOT climate of Arizona. These pants are a cotton-blend, breathable, comfortable fabric. I can be comfy in above 100 degree temps! The pants can be dressed up with a blouse or be worn with a more casual tee shirt. I am 5'10" tall and the length is just long enough for sandals. They do stretch, so buy them tight as they will loosen and conform to your body after wearing them a couple times. I wash in gentle cycle, cold water and hang to dry. They hold up pretty well but there is fading over time. My only complaint (but I still LOVE these pants) is that the pocket stitching always comes out in places. It's happened on every pair although the stitching is fine everywhere else on the pants. I hand stitch the loose areas on the pockets (not fun!)and REALLY wish XCVI would correct this issue! Maybe use multiple seams on the pockets? Or a different sturdy/stretchy thread? If the pocket stitches stayed in place, these pants would be absolutely PERFECT!!

I really wanted to like these pants! I am looking for comfortable travel pants. The fabric is lightweight and very comfortable and I love the styling. Here a few tips on the fit - my usual cut is labeled "slightly curvy" and these pants fit very awkwardly in the hip area so I would not recommned them for anyone who has a curvy figure. So, I felt that the large (12-14) was closer to a 12 and the XL (16) was closer to a 14 possibly because the cut was not right for me.

I ordered these pants in black after carefully reading most of the reviews as trying on multiple pants in the stores is extremely frustrating. I am 5'4'' and wear a 12 so the medium size in these is perfect. I couldn't believe that other than the length they are made for me even though I am not young anymore. I sew so shortening them about an inch is no problem. The fit through the waist, hips and thighs is truly flattering and I agree with one other lady they make me "feel" thinner. Isn't that what we all want after all? Now I can't wait until the Oiled Wash Root come in my size.I don't wear shorts in the summer anymore either so these will be perfect.Thank you Zappos for offering up-to-the minute styles, careful size information and the opportunity for all of us to share our reviews so we can learn and support each other.

I love these pants! Bought a pair a few years ago and came back for another color. They are very light-weight and perfect for warm weather. Flattering too. though they run big, I'M 5' 5", 143 lbs and I'm wearing a small, and they are still a bit long.

I generally do not order brands that I am not familiar with online but I took a chance and ordered these cargo pants and I am in love with them. They are so cute in the fit is perfect

These are still my go-to pants after a number of years. They last, they look great in any situation, from casual hanging out to casual dressing up. No matter where I end up in the day, I always look great and people always comment. They fit true to XCVI sizing. I am 5'6", 118 lbs, and XS fits perfectly. Buy them skin tight and in ten minutes they will grow perfectly.

These pants are awesome! I'm curvy and for once there is no gap in the back. I want them in every color!

Beyond Over The Moon- Best pair of functional pants ever. Day or night transitional. Good for most or all jobs. Dress up or down, easy to roll pack. Pockets in all the right places. No crazy buttons or zippers and really made to fit. I'm 5'8" size 6-8 and the best part? The fabric gives, and doesn't look like it's a cheap pair of athlete-wear. Thanks Guys! I'll be back.

I've been looking for a pair of cargo pants that are comfy enough to hike in. I don't like the feel of a lot of them - that nylon (or whatever it is). These feel great. Would prefer if the waist was elastic, but no biggie. They just feel a little weird with just the drawstring. I'm about 5'3", and weigh about 140 pounds, and the small fit great - although a bit long. But with my hiking boots, it's fine. I would have gotten other colors, but they only had black in my size. I'm happy with them.

I LOVE these pants. They are really fun, flattering, and very comfortable. The legs are very long, so I did an original hem to my length. I always love clothes from XCVI, very comfy, flattering, and stylish.

I love these pants. I've been a longtime fan of XCVI because I love all the fabric gathering and extra details. I agree with the other reviews, these run big. I am normally a size 4, but the XS size fits me. They do run long, but I am going to shorten them. They are very flattering.

Love these pants! I have them in three colors, they are trendy and loose fitting, pair great with a jean jacket and flip flops or Bobs flats. I hate jeans so these are my "go to" pants. The light beige ones are a little see-through so you have to wear white or nude underwear. Yes, they are not constructed that strongly so wash on gentle and do not dry. I have had my first pair for 3 years and they are a little faded but fine.

These are my uniform. I have them in several colors. I'm 6'1", 175 and wear the L. I'm so glad that I found XCVI (96?) on Zappos. I've purchased almost a dozen of their pants over the past two years. Love.

I have to toss in my 2 cents here. Mostly for size reference. This brand does run size large. I normally wear a Medium in XCVI and this particular pant I wear a small. I ordered both to try and decided on the small. I wear a medium in the willowy wide leg. They are nice and seem to be made well. So this pant is sized a tad larger than the normal XCVI Love them.

I own two pairs of these incredibly stylish yet comfortable pants. The styling is modern and goes well with a short T, scarf and nice sweater or jacket with boots. But, they are more comfortable than sweat pants which I refuse to wear outside of the house, so they get house time, too. They flatter my bottom and thighs and the cool rusching on the sides gives them a great modern style. People have complained about the house. I like to divide the number of times I wear something into the price to calculate the value. XCVI pants are always a great value, especially if you are like me and find that jeans rub in the wrong places and are not the best for wearing all day.

Great detailing on these pants. Nice fit. They are comfortable to wear and wash well. 96 percent cotton! I found their sizing runs small. I am typically a size 12-14 (large) and in this brand I have to go up to size 16 (extra large).

Great fit! These were perfect for my travels on vacation. They kept their shape and super comfy on the plane.

I LOVE these pants. Very cute and casual. I have a curvy figure and the leg is wide enough for my hips/thighs. I've worn them hiking (love the cargo pockets) or with flip flops on weekends. Also, I am 5'8" and the length is just right. I hate it when pants are too short! I have 2 pairs of these in different colors.

These are fabulous. Wash, dry and wear and look chic and comfortable. They are extra long. I'm 5'5'' and will take them to get shortened a bit, probably about 1 1/2". These are great for traveling because they fold up easily and not take up space in your suitcase. I own the Willowy Wide ones, as well, and the midi skirt. I'm a complete convert.

Last year bought a XCVI skirt and it is so cute, flattering and comfy. Thought would give these pants a try. They too are flattering, cute and comfy and I am a curvy woman. These pants are not only for young, thin girls.

I own a couple of pants by this brand and they do run a little large. They are comfy and I always get compliments. Plus, I am 5'5 and to wear them with flat shoes I need them hemmed. So they would be good for a taller person.
