I have had two pairs for over a year now, both black and grey in XL. I am 5'5", both muscular and flabby and have worn them since 185lb pre-covid (a bit loose) til a post-covid 225 (just right). They look awesome and they are the best lightweight summer pants one could hope for if carrying some extra weight. However the craftsmanship is horrible. The pocket linings are all destroyed and the stitching went to hell within a few washes. It's a damn shame they are so pricey as I'm completely on the fence re repurchase since they are so poorly made, but so cute. Lower the price, please!

5'6, 120 lbs; size SM good. Like the look (even though I am not a ruching type of girl). Have no opinion yet as to how they hold up. 2 negatives to note: on mine, the drawstring was MUCH shorter than it looks on the model; and the cordovan color is MUCH less bright than pictured. I still like it but I was disappointed that it was more dark rust.

Wishing there was a 34" inseam...love the fabric...the drawstring got lost inside the pants because the string is too short...for the price maybe a 2nd one should be included??? Very comfortable...lightweight...I'm about 5'8" with long legs...make more colors and tall size please! Navy...blush...I do like them very much...?? I live in St. Croix so the fabric is wearable year round here ??????????I have the black...awesome pants!

Style wasn't for me. Just for information, I'm 5'4", about 118lbs. I tried an x/s and it fit. A good pant for others.

This is my 3rd pair of XCVI pants. The styling is great on these and the fit is very flattering, the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the rise in front comes up a bit high. It makes for an awkward fit since they have a lot of room in the front and the booty only fits me when pulled down to where my pants usually sit (about 3 fingers below the belly button), which would be fine with the adjustable waist except then you have a droop in the crotch (not very comfy). However, this is a problem I've found with this brand in general, but I can't resist the pull on styling.

It is no where near the color shown it the picture. It’s more like a dark brown.

Not for me. I ordered the wide willowy pant (Awesome!) and this pant (not so awesome) in the same shipment and am returning these. Frankly they just look okay and don't do for me what the wide leg XCVI styles do. I am 5'8", 160 to 165 lb and wear a size 12. The large fit fine, would not go with a medium. Comfortable.

Wonderful designs, WEAK SEAMS. For this price, it should be a much, much higher quality. These will not last long.

Fit and style are fantastic. But the seam in the back pocket was not stitched. Got another pair whose front pocket was defective. I Returned that pair but I'm gonna keep these and just stitch the seam myself cuz I really love the pants but the construction sucks.

I LOVE the look and I LOVE the feel, but these pants are so poorly sewn that the seams in the pockets come undone after one or two washes. When the seams on the pockets come out, it shows (since it's part of the cute design) and you have a HOLE in your pocket and can no longer put anything in it. The first time it happened, I was bummed but it became a joke with all my friends that I could put my phone in any of my pockets and it would fall out through the bottom of my pant leg. Then I spent another $100 to replace them and within a few washes, it was the same. I'm so disappointed because if the pocket seams were stronger, I would buy a bunch and wear them everyday of my life.

These pants have been a huge disappointment. I loved the style so much I ended up buying 4 pairs in different colors. Every single one fell apart within a couple of weeks. The back pockets are coming off, the seams are ripped, the inside pockets are gaping holes. Great design, terrible quality. For the price, this company should deliver a much better product.

These pants are very low quality pant and make of very inexpensive cotton. When you wear them they going larger and large and are difficult to keep up.

I love them, they are so comfortable, but poorly made. The seams rip out after a few washings. I repair the the pants, but for the price we pay, I shouldn't have to. If only they'd double stitch the pants, that'd help tremendously.

Didn't even try these on. The color is totally different from what is pictured. They are brown, no grey in them at all. I love these pants and have them in two other colors. The sizing was so off and inconsistent with those I had to order and return multiple times to get a pant that fit.

I buy these pants every year in medium in a different color. This time around they are about 5 inches longer than usual, and too tight. The color also looks nothing like the photo (Mink). It is medium brown. I still have several other Monte Carlo pants (including 1 in mink which I was attempting to replace) and the sizing and coloring is completely different. Insanely poor quality control. Returning 3 pair.

Super lightweight and fragile seems , but very comfortable , nice and long, and flattering fit. I am 5'7' and 155 lbs and mediums fit me now but I like them a little looser. 145 lbs at 5'7" should be a perfect flattering fit for the mediums. ( The large fit perfectly when I was 164 lbs.) Now that I am loosing weight the larges were too big so I exchanged for a medium. Only problem is I ordered another Mink as shown in the picture and they sent me a much different, brownish color which they call " Hickory" and switched the label to a "Mink" tag / and Mink bag label. But it was not Mink at all! Dont be fooled! I had the actual mink (exactly as pictured online in the large). I originally tried to order medium in mink but they were "sold out" so tried the large. Then suddenly the meduims were back in stock... but no! they are just selling the hickory color and trying to pass off as the mink color. I know its Hickory because I had also bought the Hickory and did not care for it for a summer color, so returned them and re-ordered the Mink a second time in the medium but the same thing happened! Customer service said it may have just been a one time mix up but no. They are trying to pass off the Hickory as mink and hoping people won't know the difference. Super bummed! Tried ordering mink from Amazon also in medium and they too, sent me the hickory labeled "Mink". ( They are the same or sister companies according to customer service) so they must use the same tactics to sell product. Please just be honest! Such a waste of time running back and forth to UPS for all the returns. At least they dont charge for the returns. Really disappointed.

I bought this pant in the cloud color in medium and they fit great. I bought the Iris color in medium, they were way too tight. I bought them in Iris in large, and they were way too big. The Cloud color in medium was perfect. Comfy, true to size and cute enough to wear out to a casual dinner.

Yes, super high ratings on style and comfort--these pants have a fun, funky style and they feel wonderful on--nice, cool pants as easy to wear walking around as they are sitting in a car for hours at a time. Unfortunately, the quality of the stitching is AWFUL. After trying them on, I noticed one small section of the pocket where the stitching was coming out. I liked the pants so much I re-sewed them and was on my way. The next time I wore them, *more* stitching was coming out on the pocket I'd already sewn, on the other pocket, and in the crotch of the pants. Really? I have several XCVI skirts I love, but the quality on these pants is absolutely terrible. Unfortunately, I encountered the same problem on a pair of XCVI crops--stitching completely coming out on the rear yoke. It's a shame, because the fit and style is great. On the positive side: Zappos customer service team ROCKS. XCVI should be ashamed but Zappos is terrific.

I was going to purchase these pants but decided not to after reading some of the reviews. I purchase a similar pant that I love. They are made by Lucy and are called "get going pants". They are very comfortable, light weight pants that can be worn in the summer. I decided to get the Lucy pants instead because they have a draw string which enables you to be able to adjust the length, if wanted. I'm 5'2" and about 130 lbs. I purchased a medium and they fit great. Just informing the unhappy people about a similar pant. They cost $89.00 but there are certain colors on sale....

Very comfortable and stylish

I bought these pants on a whim, and honestly expected to return them. I never thought that they would be pants that I would love so much.....however, I am pretty sure that these are my new favorite pants. Except for the fact that they run long (I'm 5' 2.5") and will have to have them hemmed, b/c even with sneakers, they are way too long...... they fit me like they were custom made for my body. They are thin and light so they will be perfect for the summer and I will definitely be buying more in other colors.
