I have wider toes, and a normal width heel. These boots LOOKED like they'd be perfect - from the outside, the toe box looks really wide; however, the lining inside is very thick. This is a great thing for a winter boot, but not so great for a wider foot with a sock on. These ended up being too narrow/tight to keep. I'm usually an 8.5 - 9 for reference, and I ordered a 9 so I could wear thicker socks. Didn't work, so back they go! These would likely be fine for normal/narrow feet!

So sad. I really wanted to love these. The pictures don't show how insanely clunky the front of the shoe is. For someone with skinnier ankles, the boot makes it look like you're wearing clown shoes. Sad.

I love the look of the shoes, but they were just not comfortable. I tried them on in my home and kept trying different things - different size socks, adding in an arch support, etc. but they were just too flat footed. Also, they are very wide in the toe box. And, as other reviewers have mentioned the lining is difficult as it gets bunched up sometimes when you put your foot and and always comes out when you take your shoe off.

I needed a boot that would get me through our Michigan “Mud Season”.... roughly November through March. These technically fit the requirements. Water proof, have some traction on ice, and keep your feet warm on those cold snowy days however they have a BIG draw back. They are so hard to get on and off. The inner lining is so cumbersome because it is not connected to the boot. It is almost impossible to put on the boot without removing the lining first. The same applies when taking off the boot. (The inner lining comes out with your foot.) Putting on/taking off a shoe shouldn’t be a several step process.

These have been wonderful in the snow! We live in North Idaho and my toes would freeze quickly when I'd venture out in other "weatherproof" boots. Not so with these! Toasty and comfortable through and through. Highly recommend.

Classic Sorel boots for the win. Living in Northern Michigan, you need a substantial winter boot. These do the job. I really actually like wearing them without socks for a quick slip on boot to rush out the door and for quick errands. They'll also work well for playing outside with the kids, sledding, etc.

I love the look and style of these boots! I'm typically a 10 and bought the 10.5, I could have potentially even done an 11. A lot of reviews were saying that they ran large or were true to size, but I would definitely size up at least a half size.

Cute and functional. The laces are very long. Have to wrap around my leg before tying. I love the vintage look.
