I've owned two pairs of lewis venetians and now they're made in another country and not the same quality. Leather is inferior, color is too dark and the style and size of the shoe is off. Way to screw up a perfect driver!

It's really unfortunate, the shoe looks great and feels great, however the quality of the toe leather is simply subpar. Significant wear was identified on the toe soon after initial use and within a year, has completely worn through. I've never experienced this with any other shoe. As many have stated, this may be expected from some brands, but not Frye. Unfortunately, they appear to be falling into the cheap, overpriced bucket with other failing name brands. I thought I had found my go-to moc ... back to the drawing board!

Leather is cheap. Hole in toe with in 6 months, sent in and was replaced but next pair had same issue within 8 months. Sorry Frye your price tag does not reflect your quality.

I bought a pair of this two months ago and now the leather in the front has developed deep cracks. If you like this style, go buy the more expensive #80259. It looks the same (great) and wears the same (comfy), but I bought mine last November and they are still in great shape today.

The front toe started to develop a split after having worn them literally 5 times. Seems like major design flaw where the insole creates a crease on the outside of the shoe at the toe. Very disappointed given what I paid for them. I do not recommend.

I bought these shoes because they look great and are comfortable. I also trusted in the Frye name. After wearing them for the second time, a very apparent vertical wear line appeared across the front of both shoes. After wearing the shoes 5 times, these wear lines opened, and each shoe developed a two centimeter long slice across the front. I wrote to Frye, and they were great. They sent me a new pair. Unfortunately, after wearing the new pair for three days, the same thing happened. I still think Frye makes some great shoes, but definitely avoid these.

I have had to return three pair of these shoes-they are not sewn to the sole but rather glued and the leather separates from the sole-do not waste your money
