Good go to shoe, but developed holes in the leather at end of shoe.

Read an earlier review that claimed this shoe didn't fit properly so the reviewer needed a smaller size. Personally however I found that a size 11 shoe fit my size 11 foot. The shoe looks great but I ended up returning it because it was just too narrow by the toes. If you have a medium width foot you may need to stretch them first .

I love Frye shoes and boots. Have more than 1 pair. But this style did not fit my foot at all. I normally wear a 7.5 in Frye shoes but ordered this in an 8 becuase another pair of brown loafers (different style) were too small at 7.5. The 8 was too big an would almost slip off. I returned and order the 7.5, which was really tight and much too small. If you are lucky enough to have this shoe fit, it looks great and I could tell by the larger shoe that the comfort would have been amazing (like every other pair of Frye I own).

snug with an odd heel

Great looking shoe, but there isn't much support. Only other complaint is that the seams on the toe of the shoe don't seem like they are going to hold up over time.

Very disappointed about the sizing of these shoes. All of my loafers are 13's and I generally wear them without socks. These 13's were too large and slipped off my heels. I ordered 12's and couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. They are beautiful shoes and very well made, just weird sizing.

First of all, fantastic looking shoe. It's exactly what I wanted in a loafer - nice enough to wear to work with slacks, but you could still wear them to a nice restaurant with dark jeans, or even casually with shorts. I bought the tan/antique color and they're very attractive. But the fit is ridiculously off. I wear an 11 in athletic shoes, but typically a 10.5 in leather shoes knowing they'll stretch out. I've bought Sperry's in 10.5 that were snug at first, and then stretched to a perfect fit. I bought a 10.5 in these and as one reviewer noted, I was swimming in them. I replaced them with a size 10 and they fit perfectly right now, but I suspect they'll stretch out too much. I'm going to keep the shoes because they're so attractive, and hopefully I can wear them for a long time, but the fit is strange. They are comfortable though. Fantastic Zappos service, as expected. They sent the new pair before I'd even put the exchanged pair in the mail and I had them 3 days later.

While the shoes start off a bit tight, they typically stretch out and provide a great fit after a few days of pain. Unfortunately, for the second time with these same set of shoes, the toe on my left foot wears through incredibly quick. I already have a hole in the left toe of a pair that I bought less than two months ago. I love the shoes, but unfortunately cannot afford to purchase a new pair every two months.
