When I wore sandals, I thought that it was the most comfortable feeling on the feet, but after I wore these Orthaheel sandals I notice quite an upgrade of comfort on my feet. The arch support is great & the sandals look great. I'm very pleased with these sandals, & I would highly recommend these sandals.

This is one of the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I have alot of back trouble and i decided to order these and they actually help with the pain. I am going to order another pair soon in white.

These are great sandals. There is a ton of support which is really important to me since I recently injured my foot. The strap can be a little irritating at first, but I got used to it.

I have flat arches and were looking for a pair of flip flops with good arch support. When I first put on the Orthaheel, the arches felt too high, but I gave it another try the next day and it felt significantly more comfortable. I discovered the construction is actually conducive to having the arch mold to the contours of my feet. Took the new tags off after wearing them for 3 days. Very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who need arch support.

Love the way these shoes support my feet. I have purchased many pairs! Support lasts about as long as the 30 day guarantee and the rubber soles make your feet sweat & stink in summer! Plan on buying another pair soon though.

I purchased this pair after the soles on my grey and black Orthaheel pair wore too thin. I give this particular pair 4 stars because the strap is too loose over the top of my feet (I have average shaped feet). My black and grey pair fit perfectly. As with my other pair, the arch support is excellent and is the reason I purchased them - great for plantar fasciitis. And with both, I wear a size 11, but size 12 is the correct length with this brand. A full size off.

The part of the thong that was sewn starting coming apart after wearing about a month. I contacted Zappos and they had me a new pair in a couple of days. Zappos is awesome.It takes awhile to get used to these but are great.

So torn on the rating. I can see where the footbed will be great for my plantar fascia (the pain diminished almost as soon as I put these on), but the strap between the toes is creating another problem. It seems to be much thicker than most thongs and quite uncomfortable, almost cutting into the top of my middle toe (and I'm very used to wearing flip flops). Plus, these are much more masculine than I had hoped. I thought that might be an issue with a unisex style. Bummer. Will return these and try a slide version from same company.

The high arches are a great idea and really help relieve Plantar Fasciitis. However, calling these sandals would be like calling a motorcycle a four door car -- it is not. These are glorified flip-flops and at this price they are awfully expensive ones. Also, you cannot even take these flip-flops in the water. What is the point of having such expensive flip-flops that cannot even go in the water? The flip-flops will take a little bit to get used to and I did get used to it. However, since they are only flip-flops and not enclosed shoes, your feet will move around and therefore pronate, or roll in some. This is not good since the whole idea is to keep your feet from rolling around but the only support you will have will be the thong in the middle, this is simply not enough to keep your feet in place. In fact, I tried walking quickly in these things and every time they just fall right off. It would be nice if Orthaheel/ Dr. Vasyli, would step up to the plate and make real shoes that could offer real support so you could wear them all the time, rather than beach flip-flops that cannot even go in the water!

I threw away the box thinking that in time my feet would get accustomed to the high arches -- but they are just too high for my flat feet. My arches (or where they should be) hurt and so do my ankles. For unisex shoes, they should be wider. They are not comfortable and my foot slides to the outside of the insoles, so I only wear them for slippers.

Hope you have narrow feet. Also, the the piece that goes between your toes is just too wide for comfort. Good arch support, wish they made them in practical sizes.

I'm a frequent Zappos customer. I have been very happy with nearly all my purchases and service. The Orthaheel Kinetic Flip Flop has been the exception, however. I found the shoe to be weak in construction, not giving sufficient support to any part of the foot, They just did not work for me at all.

This is my second one, the first one I loved; however, this one feels really hot, and I regret buying, and now is too late to return it.

Too stiff and masculine looking and didn't like the nubby bottoms against my feet. From the picture, it looked soft and smooth but there are raised rubber circles, which I found irritating. As far as the arch support, it felt too high for me, but due to the other drawbacks, I wasn't prepared to give myself a proper chance to get used to it.

Bought these for my 6'4" 18-year-old who has problem feet due to rapid body growth. This give him great arch support & he doesn't complain about his feet hurting anymore. It's so important to get a good quality flip-flop for summertime that isn't your run-of-the-mill cheapy-choppy shoe. Those cheap flip-flops aren't good for the feet. If you're concerned about overall foot health, and you should be, this is worth the investment.

Quality construction is evident. I have a wide foot. I ordered and 11 but I probably would have been better of with an 11.5. The fit is still satisfactory.

These flip flops are extremely comfortable. I wear Orthaheel flip flops everyday when I don't have my prescriptions orthotics on. I find that these shoes work as well as my orthotics in preventing back pain.

I've practically lived in these flip flops when I was pregnant. I have flat feet so the arch support is just right. I also owned a pair of these in another color for about 2 years, wearing them every day so you can expect about 2 years of everyday wear out of them. They are a bit stiff and will need to be broken in, but after that it's great! The down side is that there are no half sizes, so when I ordered a 6 it was too small and so went with a 7 which was about .5 inch longer.

These stay by my bed and I put them on first thing and take them off right when I go to bed. It hurts to go barefoot anymore because of plantar fasciitis, but with these, there is blessed relief. What a godsend.

Suffered miserably with Plantar Fasciitis until I discovered Orthaheel flip flops. Relief was amazing, right out of the box, and now I am 95% well! So when my high-arched son complained about the horrible foot pain he had on a recent trip, I "Zappos'ed" him Orthaheels and made him trash his other flip flops. Now he lives in his Orthaheels, and loves the arch support!

I cannot wear any type of shoe that does not have good arch support, and these give great support, almost as good as my custom orthotics. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them and they did not need to broken in; however, if you're not used to wearing a shoe with good arch support, it sometimes takes a while to get used to them. As others have mentioned, start by wearing just a couple hours per day. I had no trouble with them falling off my feet. Very happy with these shoes and will consider buying more colors and styles.

This shoe is exactly what I expected...a generic sandal wide enough for my E width female foot and decent to walk in. I was seeking nothing more than a casual sandal I could comfortably walk around Target in, or walk down the hill to the mailbox in, without ending up with aching calves. My expectations were met. The shoe is definitely plain, so if you want something stylish check elsewhere. If you want something to fit a wide width and provide some support, then here you go.
