I ordered my usual size but it was way too tight and small so I ordered up 1/2 size and it was still too tight at the heel and around the top of my foot by the toes. The shoe had a very soft and comfortable sole and was cute and stylish but unfortunately I had to return them because they just didn't fit well.

Really love these shoes but after 1 year of occasional use, the bottom sole is coming un-glued from the leather. Zappos will not help with this problem which makes these lightly worn shoes, useless :(

I bought these shoes in March and I've only wore in the office and now I see that bottom coming off. The glue is not good.

I literally have tried on this shoe in varying sizes, so now I tried a 9W. I do not have a wide foot and this was still to tight in the big toe area. I think this shoe is super cute and a good price. The leather is very nice. Unfortunately the execution is way off. I would not recommend this shoe for anyone with foot problems.

Synopsis: Rubbed my heels raw. Dets.: This is the second pair of Emmies I've purchased. I have one pair in "Bourbon" and I love them. Ultra comfy. I thought I'd purchase them in black to complete my "collection"; however, they rub against the backs of my feet terribly. I have no idea why the make would be different in a different color, but alas, that's what's happening. I'll be returning these, unfortunately.

I bought a pair of these shoes a couple years ago and loved them. They are very comfortable for flats. So, I decided I needed a new pair and wanted other colors too. However, the size between the two colors ordered (bourbon & black) were drastically different. So much so, that I actually went back and ordered a size up for one color and a size down for the other color to compare. When I got them, I eventually decided, none of the bourbon color were going to work as they were either too small or too big. I only keep the one black pair in a 9 1/2 because i know it will stretch out and they fit more like my original ones. Ultimately, I am super disappointed in the differences and am frustrated the size difference between the colors.

I've had these shoes about three months, and while I do not wear them daily, the sole is separating from the shoe. Very disappointing!

I really wanted to like these, and am in desperate need of new black flats. But, when I opened the box. . . I was really disappointed. Poor quality. Leather looks inexpensive. And uncomfortable, to boot. Will be returning.

Wide is NOT wide. I ordered an 8.5 W. The sole is normal at best, but it really looks like a narrow. So it causes your foot to look weird in the shoe and destroys the leather on the sides. I do NOT recommend this shoe if you need a wide width.

These shoes are very cute and I was initially excited about them as they are comfy, but after wearing for a short time your feet absolutely cannot breath. They were OK during the winter when you want your feet to be cozy, but when it's above freezing they are awful. I'm very disappointing for the price I paid and would not recommend these to anyone. Save yourself the money and headache.

These shoes are a very tight fit. They felt one size smaller. I had to squeeze my feet into my pair.

I bought 2 pairs of these flats n different colors - after about 2 weeks of wear both have stretched out so much they are unwearable. They looked so good at first! This was an expensive dissapointment.

The worst shoe I've ever purchased. Bought in "grout" about a month ago in size 6.5 bc I'm b/w a 6.5/7. The grass was slightly damp so within about 5 min of wearing, they had a couple drops of water on them that instantly discolored them. I tried to lightly clean them and the color ran more. Then the texture started to rub away like leather/fabric shouldn't. The fit TIGHT and are extremely uncomfortable after just an hour. No support, no stretch, and somehow they are rubbing my heel despite fitting tightly. I threw them away since I couldn't return them. The soles looked brand new and the tops were destroyed after 3 days of trying to wear them.

These shoes are super cute, but the stitching at the top of the heal rubbed my foot raw. Because of the elastic in the shoe getting them stretched did not help.

I would give this shoe a 0 star overall right now if I could. They started out a 4-5 star. I have had them only about 2 months and one shoe has already fallen apart. The leather has completely separated from the sole right by my baby toe. These are not the most expensive shoes but they should at least last longer than 2 months!

Worst flats ever! Total waste of money! They are so painful to walk in for longer than a quick stroll to the mailbox. They break in very fast, and still are extremely painful to walk in. They also "splat" out awkwardly which makes your foot look super weird. Unfortunately they looked and felt fine when I first tried them on, and after a few hours of wearing them, they look worn... I tried them a second day to see if they just needed a second chance to break in, and still awful, and now after 2 days of walking outside I cant return. I keep them under my desk now as a last resort extra pair of flats to wear in the office.
