I have 7 pairs of these shoes,go up a full size.They do not stretch out over time that much.The elastic draws the back of the heel inward.So it hurts if you buy your normal size.Otherwise beautiful flat.so many options of color.

Been on the hunt for simple black flats for months, these shoes were exactly what I was looking for. The quality appears to be good, but the price is a tad high for ballet flats. The shoes are on the narrow side, so those with wide feet (like myself) beware. Definitely got a blister on the second wear.

It really is quite a comfortable shoe, except that in my case it ran 1/2 to 1 size too small. I have purchased several pair of shoes from Eddie Bauer in the past 3 years - all in size 9. I ordered a 9-1/2 in this shoe and found that my toe was almost protruding through the end of the shoe and even though it is a rounded toe, the toe box is very tight. I found the same to be true of the Bandolino Edition (similar style shoe I ordered) but was able to get that in a size 10, so I kept that and didn't bother ordering the Emmie in size 10.

Very cute shoes, made of very soft, comfortable leather (inside and out). They run a bit short and VERY narrow. I NEVER wear a wide, but the medium is way too narrow.

Cute but too small

Decent little ballet flats. When I first purchased them I went a half-size up from 9.5 to 10 based on reviews but the elastic was so tight I couldn't wear them without feeling like my feet were being strangled to death. I really liked the look and ended up exchanging them for size 11s. The elastic is more tolerable now but is still a little tight even though there is definitely a ton of extra space in the toe. I probably would have been better off ordering these in a wide width instead and recommend anyone buying these size up and order a wide unless you have a very narrow foot.

Nice look, very flexible sole but the top is pretty stiff.

Finally a ballet flat that's not too tight! And great color. Alas, the heel back rubs just in the try-on...don't want to take the risk to see how much they'd rub being worn all day. Going back.

I ordered a 6 becuz the 6.5 was out of stock.. loved them but to small as i figured. Checked again and 6.5 was in stock.. was excited and ordered it but totally differnt shoe, one shoe is completely worn looking, ther other smooth and a very obvious scratch on the toe.. looked like they had been worn and returned???????
