Shoes are very nice. This is the fourth pair of Nimbus shoes I've bought. Just like the others, my arch was bothered when I first bought the shoes but once they break in some my feet feel 100% better. These shoes are a little hot and it takes a while for your feet to get used to it.

I have chronic ankle problems (left ankle) and have trouble finding a shoe that won't make things worse. These are great for me. They are fairly supportive and have great cushioning. I would personally like if they were a bit less flashy, but that's just me.

Durable shoe but toe box is narrower than the 12, getting a blister on my little toe which I didn't.

These are the best running shoes that I have ever owned. I love that I can get them in wide sizes. I switched to Asics Gel Numbus 18 months ago after a life time of Nikes (Motto, Pegasus, you name it). These are more comfortable and I now get less pain after long runs.I hate the colors so I just wear them for running (40km/week when things go well). For day to day use I still have a pair of Nike Free Run and a pair of Salomon XA 3D Ultra.

I owned a pair of Nimbus 12’s and upgraded to the Nimbus 13’s. There are some differences, I found. It seems the toe box is smaller on the 13’s, so be careful if you have wide feet. My right foot becomes numb over a long run if I lace my 13’s up too tight because of this. The cushioning is superb, especially for people with chronic knee pain. I would try to try them on in a store and not just assume they will fit based on past Nimbus models.

I have the Gel-Nimbus 11 and 12 and now the the Gel-Nimbus 13. The 13 is not as cushioned as the 11 and 12. In an effort to make it lighter they took out some of the gel support. I took off one point for that but it's still a great shoe. Personally, I like the Gel-Nimbus 12 a little bit better. You can still get the 12 if you want more support (and the 12 is 30 bucks cheaper too).

These are perfect for plenty of walking on the cobblestone streets of Rome and the bridges of Venice. There is no break in time needed for these shoes. They are light and comfortable with sufficient support. I expect they will be great in the gym as I work off the pastas, cheeses and meats of Tuscany.

I've been running for over 30 years, tried lots of shoes. I have a wide (4E) width foot, tend to have trouble with finding shoes. I bought a pair of the GN13s, took them to work to wear (I'm on my feet 9-10 hours per day) and loved them. Incredible padding, fit was perfect. Bought a 2nd pair to wear running. Fit was off, padding was significantly less than the first pair. Decided to give them a chance, maybe they just needed some breaking in. After about 150 miles, I've put them in the Goodwill bin. The first pair was 5 stars, 2nd pair was maybe 2 stars. Can't believe that Asics quality control was that bad. May try another pair later, but not now.

Not the most comfortable Nimbus I have worn and I have been wearing them for 10+ years. The toe box is a bit narrow which tends to squeeze your toes together a bit.

What a bummer! I am a large runner and was buying one pair of the 12's every two months. It was the only shoe that prevented my shin splints. I turned many people onto the 12's. Well...the 13's are a completely different shoe. Less padding and the toe box is much smaller. The size I had been wearing did not fit at all and I don't want to wear a clown shoe by ordering another size larger. This shoe is very narrow for heavier people. Asics blew this one. Why do shoe companies mess with perfection?!

I ordered a 4E, which is what I usually wear. These were so narrow, I couldn't even begin to put them on. Returned. Too bad. It is a fun shoe to look at.

I've run in Gel Nimbus 12's and recently got a pair of Gel Nimbus 13's (same size). The Gel-Nimbus 13 has a narrower toe, seems to have less padding and is a stiffer shoe. They are so uncomfortable, that after running in them twice, I am discarding the Gel-Nimbus 13! I won't buy another pair of ASICS for running and can't recommend this shoe.

Toe is more narrow than the Nimbus 12. Shoe feels as if it is less flexible too.

Simply the best running shoe ever made in my opinion. I've been wearing Nimbus for years and every tweak they make is warranted. It's large toe box reduces friction for me and the first few hundred miles are like running on pillows. Also, the newer colors rock. Lot's of compliments on the green.

Great shoe! Very comfortable and light. I would definitely buy again. The only observation I have is that for the width (2EE) it seemed more narrow than I expected. But it's still very comfortable and fits my foot well.

I've run using both the Asics 12 and 13 and love both models. The newer Asics 14 are tighter than the previous version and this is why I'm reordering the 13s. Very comfortable shoe for an older runner (57), running mostly 10K and 1/2 marathons. Great support and it is a great shoe to use on blacktop and other road surfaces. I've experienced little pain with these shoes; I can't say that about another brand. I would like to reiterate it is best to get fitted for a shoe by a person who actually knows what they are doing; a professional fitter makes all the difference in the world.

Without a doubt are the best running shoes I ever have. I'm 190cm tall and for me is very important the shock absorption. I hope N13 will help me to beat my marathon time. Next NYC 12 (It'll be my 6th).

These shoes make running like you are on a cloud. A lot of cushion that make you feel comfortable for any distance.

This was not my first order and as usual I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I have been buying Asics for about 6 years and they are in my opinion the best.

Nimbus 13: Ok now to read a review from a runner/worker. Aside from my daily run, I also work in these shoes. Ive tried a variety of work shoes and casual to running shoe for work. I'm 6', 250 but have small feet(13.5). Size was perfect fit with just the right amount of movement needed. Out of all shoes Ive tried, Asics Gel are the best for running, walking, lifting, and overall wear. Excellent in all fields of work including the morning run. I'll never switch to any other athletic or work shoe again.

First time wearing Asics - used some other shoes before but the results were horrible. I started to feel pain on both of my legs. Didn't know why so I started doing some research about running shoes and I switched to the Asics Gel Nimbus 13 (my first Nimbus ever), I don't know much about shoes but these are the best running shoes I ever tried. They look great, feel really comfortable and lightweight. As soon as i got my shoes I took them for a run and I didn't feel the pain in my legs. Don't know how but it went away. It was an experience. I just hope they last. If they do, from now on I'm wearing Asics.

These are great shoes. They look good! I ran a half marathon. Asics fit the same every time. I like that! I will continue to buy Asics. I have tried other brands and am always disappointed.
