I've really enjoyed my other two pairs of Orthaheel shoes (flip flops and slippers) but I found that the Vionic walker sneakers do not have enough cushion in the foot bed thereby causing discomfort, especially with long-term wear. I did find the wide width to be true to size.

I love these shoes--great for walking. But after about 2 months, they SQUEAK. I hate that. I can't wear them to work because they make so much noise. So I only use them when I walk my dogs in the morning. Other than that, great shoes.

I was looking for a shoe which provided stability for my ankles, which these provided, but the arch support was very uncomfortable -- too rigid and maybe too high.

Really wanted these shoe to work for me. For two years, I've only worn Orthaheel shoes (arch support due to plantar fasciitis) mostly sandals because I'm good with the same footbed, for it fits me perfectly. I even walk on the treadmill in the slippers. The Walker does have a great arch support so I didn't get plantar pain. But...the section for the ball of the foot is very hard so I'm trying to add some cushioning. Also, I developed knee pain after using these shoes for walking. I've put in a gel cup in the heel for some more cushioning. I do wish these shoes had a sleeker look, and that Orthaheel would design some more attractive flats for other occasions.

Not sure what I think of these yet. Feel supportive and look more supportive than the Rhythym walker. Definitely a heavy, clunky shoe and the toe box is very wide - I ordered a 9 medium. Am going to order the Rhythym walker to compare and see. I love my Orthaheel clogs and am hoping to find another Orthaheel shoe in a sneaker and sandal that lives up to the clogs!

Zappos delivery and return was great when I had to get a different size. The black shoe leaks black on white socks. It is all leather so it would be too hot in the summer. The orhothedics in this shoe are not as good as the Vionic slippers.

Loved the look of this shoe and the fact the had room for my own insoles. I was impressed that the shoe came with a guarantee to wear the shoe for a month and if you were unsatisfied, you could return for refund. Wow! The left shoe actually felt like it was mismatched for this pair of shoes. I was much tighter. I would need an extra wide for this brand, unfortunately for me this brand does not come in extra wide.

The heel support in this shoe is amazing and I loved it; however, the ball of the foot had no cushion whatsoever. I really wanted to love these shoes but without that cushion under the ball of my foot, I couldn't keep them. Very cute and didn't look orthotic at all.

Was so hoping these would make my left foot feel better, but even though I ordered Wide, they seem more narrow. Don't come any wider so I guess I'll wear them around the house and hope they stretch out before I attempt to wear them to work.

This shoe is comfortable. I have heel pain and wearing this shoe when walking is definitely helping. Here's what I don't like though. The shoe is not very attractive, which I can overlook, but it has started squeaking! And that is highly annoying.

I really don't find this shoe all that comfortable and do not use it for walking any distance. Disappointing for shoes at this price.

My normal shoe size ranges from 8.5 to 9... I ordered these in size 9 and found them to be HUGE! They felt more like a size 10, plus the toe box was very wide and boxy looking. These shoes are not attractive at all...very old lady looking. I also ordered the Rhythm walkers in size 9 and found them to be almost too small. Go figure, same company, but inconsistent sizing!

I purchased a size 8, my typical size, but it was too large. I then purchased a 7.5 and the length was okay, but it still felt wide; I tightened the shoe laces, but there is nothing to be done about the very large toe box. I have worn Orthaheel sandals and slippers so I am familiar with the 'feel' of the shoes, and didn't need any time to become accustomed to the shoes. The right shoe was fine, however the left shoe caused pain on the outside of my foot. I am unsure whether this is a problem with the shoe, or pain that is returning from a foot and ankle injury over the summer. I have discovered that I do better wearing a Rockport athletic shoe with an Orthaheel 3/4 insert. This provides the support that I need without hurting the outside ball of my foot.

It's okay. It's not for people with a lot of foot pain like Plantar Fasciitis. I had used the Sketchers Shape-ups for 2 years previously and they got rid of that pain, but I thought I would try something with less height and now I'm suffering for it. If you do not have this kind of problem then these shoes would be fine I'm sure. They are fairly comfy but do not have a good cushion. I had to buy extra insoles for these.

Shoes were a good fit, however, my foot problem seems to be with the ball of my foot, Morton's Neuroma, and there seemed to be pressure in that area when I walked in the shoes.

NO flexibility. Very heavy shoe. Had the weight of a mans shoe. Seemed well cushioned, and supportive. Ran about a 1/2 size too short. Wide width seemed ok. I'm rating comfort a 5 for cushioning, but a 3 as it is too heavy a shoe.

These sneakers have a huge arch support so if you over pronate, these are for you. I tried them because I have plantar fasciitis and needed support. I tend to have supination so these made it seem worse. Nice shoe though. A bit clunky which is the norm. Lots of toe room. I wear a size 5 so it's not easy to find. I love Zappo's for their try and return policy!

These walkers have excellent arch support, but something isn't right. Since wearing them I have had a lot of knee pain which I have never had before, and the shoe actually squeaks when I walk and as I work in a hospital at night they are not working out well for me. They are also narrow so if you need a roomy shoe don't buy these. But much better looking than the ugly NB 928's.

My shoe size is 7 1/2 W and that's the size I purchased. Very roomy around your toes, comfortable all around. Good arch support. Negative side: not enough cushion or comfort around your heel or ball of the foot. The insole felt flat like a "crepe" around these areas. I own a pair of Orthaheel slippers and they are cushiony around the arch, heel and ball of the foot so I thought I was going to feel the same comfort with the walking shoes. Sorry to say I was disappointed. If you are looking for comfortable and cushiony insoles, these are not the shoes for you.

Very disappointing. Heel is super comfortable. Front of the foot is miserable. Hard as a rock with no cushioning under the ball of the foot. Don't know what the designer was thinking. My toes actually got numb after a few minutes from pressure where the metatarsals hit. Not a walking shoe. Plenty of room for toes, snug heel fit but overall, ouch.

The Orthaheel may have been a good idea, but the orthotic footbed that is part of this shoe is just too firm. I bought both the 9 and 9½ sizes since as a runner I am accustomed to going up a size or size and a half, and in this case, one just felt too small, the other too big. A regular walking shoe would probably be simpler.

I was excited about these shoes because Orthaheel Tide flip flop are the most comfortable slippers I have ever purchased. I am looking for a good walking shoe so my heels don't hurt at the end of the day. Well, these shoes are just unfashionable and make a person look out of style. Style didn't matter in the end because they ended up being too large. The width was just perfect but this size seemed longer than other size 8 wide shoes I have. I ordered a 7-1/2 size and they fit, but I am still on the fence about the lack of style. I wish Orthaheel made their other shoes in a wide size.

For comparison: I am a thin female with fairly flat feet. I over-pronate and have professional orthotics but wanted a shoe what I could wear for work. Also many shoes I like don't accommodate the orthotics so I wanted a separate work shoe. Great arch support but so hard! I don't really have bony feet, but jeez, my feet were so sore, and my back still hurt the same as wearing any other shoes for a 6 or 8 hour shift at work (walking and sitting job...not heavy duty). I wore them for a few hours a day for 2 days before wearing them to work. They feel okay at first...high arch support and overall good fit. But there is no cushion whatsoever in the insole or bottom of the shoe. At all. It's like walking directly on the floor. So all that shock is going into your ankles, knees, and back. I tried switching out the insole for my orthotics, didn't help. I'm going to try and get some gel inserts because there's no way I'm going to get rid of shoes at this price.

This shoe takes a while to get used to. It's not your everyday walking shoe. Even the paperwork says wear a few hours the first days to allow your feet to adjust to the new level of orthotics comfort and support. They do have a walk pain free 30 day guarantee. Conditions apply. It's a good looking shoe that would be great for waitressing or any uniform job that you are on your feet all day. I'm still trying to get used to them. But have no hip or foot pain like I have been having.
