This is my first pair of Orthaheel. Let me preface this by saying I hate sneakers, but needed to give these a try for my plantar fasciitis. They are pretty good, as far as sneakers go. They provide enough cushion and support for me. I wear them pretty much every day. As far as sizing, it says to go down from your normal size, I didn't find that. I ordered both the size I would wear in a sneaker and the next 1/2 size down and that was way too tight.

Great support for my plantar fasciitis afflicted foot. Would love the shoes even more if they were a bit cooler.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box. Foot problems resolved quickly when wearing this walker daily.

I have totally flat feet. Severe pronation. Upon doctor's order I had to find shoes to hold my feet up and be comfy. The Orthaheel actually is more comfy than my specially made orthotics. The arch hits my foot properly. The toe space is a bit wide. I can wiggle my toes more than in any other shoe I've owned. Not sure if this is a positive or negative aspect of the shoes. Still getting used to it. When tied tight the shoe gives me a lot of support. I am still getting used to the very wide lacing area other than that it looks like a wide athletic shoe (though it's a medium width). I bought a white pair for my work in healthcare and a black pair to wear with jeans.

This shoe is about 1/2 size bigger than what I usually wear, plus the front half of the shoe doesn't have enough padding underneath. The arch is great like my Orthaheel sandals, though. I'm returning this pair due to the lack of padding since I'm a walker, plus I'm on my feet all day.

I wanted walking shoes with a strong arch support, in a W size. In addition, my ankles become easily sore. These shoes have the strongest support I could find, but the position of the arch in the sole of the shoe is slightly uncomfortable. However, the roomy toe box makes a big difference and my ankles get less painful when I use those shoes.

This shoe has great potential but it is built for someone with wide feet. It is also larger than your typical size. Would be great if it came in various widths. I think the arch support would be more effective.

The Feel Good Shoes: walking is more comfortable and I like knowing that I'm doing something good for my feet.

Very comfortable and one of only a few pairs of shoes I can tolerate while dealing with plantar fasciitis. They're not at all attractive, especially in black, but very functional and well made. I have to use a certain lacing technique to tighten the heel snugly enough (I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel), but once I've done that, the fit is good.

These shoes are the best I've found for my work. I am a nurse and spend 13-14 hours on my feet. The heel pain is still there when I stand in one place, but walking feels good in these shoes. I have tried so many different shoes & inserts, but these have been the most comfortable closed shoes (the Orthaheel Tide flip-flops are the most comfortable, though, & wish I could wear them to work!).

I really love these because of the high arch in the foot. What a Godsend. Only problem is they are too loose. It's not that they're too big, because they are the exact length of my foot. The top part of the shoe is just too loose, so it makes it hard to walk in them. I have rather skinny feet. So back they go.

I have stubborn plantar fascitis and was able to walk 45 minutes with only minimal pain. These are the first shoes that were comfortable from the get-go!
My Podiatrist was also happy!

I liked the shoe, at first. Seemed to be just what I was looking for. But the longer I wore them, the more uncomfortable they became in the arch. I wanted to use them for work in which I will be standing most of the day. These will never do. Aside from the arch, I liked the roomy toe box and overall comfort. Probably a great shoe for the right arch.

These walkers do help with my knee pain ,but they are heavy and stiff, even after a month. I wear them for 1/2 day and switch to my comfortable Orthaheel bed slippers! SK

Really loved Orthaheels sandals and hoped that the walkers would be as comfortable, but was just a little disappointed with the comfort after wearing all day. Feet got really hot, but to be fair, it is really hot here right now.

Arch support was to far forward; did not hit mid-arch. Insert pressed too hard on left side of my left foot.

Ordered a wide, but these are not very wide for a wide. Wore them about a week and they are a bit slippery on wet pavement. Currently not wearing them. Arch support is so so. Support inside is ok, but a bit hard. Would not buy again.

Alas, the fit was both too short and too wide. There is no other size available that would fit. Too bad, since I liked how they look and they're nice and light weight,

These shoes are very heavy. I normally love all shoes from vionic. These shoes gave me a shin splint that I am still dealing with.

I love how the shoes look. I wish I would have ordered them a half size down because it is a bit on the big side. The pink stains easier than the taupe.

I have had bionic sandals which had great arch support. I couldn't really tell if these were as supportive because the shoe itself was very stiff. I returned them. Not comfortable.

There are specks like oil on the upper fronts and a scuff o the right toe. Vionic has a great shoe but lacked the physical appearance of a NEW shoe.
