Although the shoes didn't work for me, Lauren in customer service worked hard to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I will definitely shop with Zappos again!

I wear an American size 11 and the European size 42 Zappos sent me is marked (10.5-11). It is too short for my foot. I wish this company would make a 43! From what I could tell, the shoe would have been comfortable if it weren't too short.

Comfortable from the start. I walk the dog 2-3 miles a day. I have plantar fasciitis in one heel and a bunion on the other foot and they feel fine. On the negative side, the shoe is very hot and does not breathe, I take them off as soon as I finish walking when the weather is warm.

They're light and very good support. They prevented me from a lot of falls. And I love the fact that I can wash them in the washing machine and they come out wonderfully. Just make sure you wash them in cold water on a gentle cycle. Clean sneakers ARE A MUST FOR ME. And it's so nice not to have to polish them. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER...let them air dry naturally--it may take a day or two to dry completely, but it's worth it in my humble opinion.

I opted for the original and not the more stylish second and third generation of the Orthaheel tennis shoes because all the reviews said they weren't as supportive as the original Walker. These are probably tied for ugliest tennis shoes I've ever worn, but boy are they comfortable. These are generously sized (to accommodate orthotics maybe?) with a nice low heel pad that does not dig into my Achilles. I did have a little inside seam rub on one foot that worked itself out within a few hours of wearing. I am looking forward to putting them through their paces this weekend standing outside on concrete for 8 hours each day.

These are, overall, very good shoes. My feet are broader than most, and so at first the shoes really pinched my pinky toes. But after breaking them in, they are very comfortable and have significantly reduced the amount of heel pain I've had due to plantar fasciitis.

As with all the vionic shoes I have purchased, these shoes are very comfortable but they are really quite ugly. They are definitely old lady shoes. Despite their comfort, they are being returned. I am too young for these shoes!

I bought these shoes for my plantar fasciitis. When I first put them on I didn't think they would work because the sole feels hard, but after wearing them to work I definitely feel like they work! I still feel pain if I'm not wearing them, so I'm considering buying the slippers of this brand as well. They're not the prettiest shoes, but they serve their purpose.

I have plantar fasciitis and this year I have been in a lot of pain because of it. I finally decided to try these shoes to see if they would help and sure enough they have helped a lot. That being said, I do have one complaint. They squeak. I hate squeaky shoes. Every step I take, squeak, squeak, squeak.

I liked the shoe but found it was short. My toes were right at the top. I'm disappointed because I was looking for a shoe with a good arch and these would have been perfect if they came in a larger size.

I'm happy with my choice of this walking shoe...it has helped with my overpronated left foot! They did feel a bit awkward, at first; but I soon got used to there construction...except when tying them, the spongy tongue is difficult to keep in place and is uncomfortable, until adjusted.

These are different from the thong sandels - where I believe from reading reviews, that I am not alone in saying are awesome for support and plantar fasciatis - in that the support is different. They feel very hard and thin under your foot and do not seem to have as high an arch support. That said, they do seem to be better on my feet than regular shoes and I can walk in them without any major discomfort. They are however VERY unattractive as they have the biggest toe box of any shoe I have ever seen made for a woman! And you can feel it as the ball of your foot area feels very open. I did and would order them in black to minimize their appearance as I feel like I am wearing my husband's hiking books when I look down at my feet. But ultimately comfort is more important for exercise and long day trips. I will buy again...but also will consider trying the inserts to put in regular tennis shoes first!

I have been wearing (and loving) the Brooks GTS since before they had the GTS 12 style. After reading the reviews how the quality had gotten worse with the GTS14 style I decided to try the Vionic with Orthaheel Tech since I pronate. Unfortunately this shoe had some wiry stitches rubbing against my little toe from the inside and were too stiff for my purposes so I will be returning them.

I've been looking for a 10.5 sneaker, but most seem too short in the toe. If I go to a size 11, my heel slips. This sneaker is long enough in the toe, but there is too much space between the top of the foot and the leather. I chose between this and the New Balance WW847 which was a better fit all around. Thank you Zappos for your free shipping. You are my "go to" for boots, shoes and sneakers. Size 10.5 is nonexistent in most shoe stores.

I ordered these because I need a wide shoe with good arch support. These are good but could be a slight bit wider. They do have very good arch support and I am not putting in my supports for pronating since they seem to be helping with that also. These are replacing NB 928 shoes which I always thought had good stability but much too boxy in the heel and looked like old-fashioned orthopedic shoes my mother wore.

The shoes are comfortable, but could have more cushioning for a walker. The toe box is a little stubby looking. However, the shoes give you great support and I'm happy with the purchase overall.

The shoe is comfortable though it does take a little time to become used to the hard feeling heel. I have found that my knees do not hurt as much after I walk. I do not wear the shoes all the time but only when I walk which is usually more than 2 mile walks a day.

After I was diagnosed as having Plantar Fasciitis, didn't think I would be able to find shoes that didn't cause me pain. So happy when I found this website. I usually wear 8 1/2 to to 9 depending on the style of the shoe. I have narrow feet. Ended up ordering the 8 1/2 and they are too large. Since they made my sore feet feel so good decided not to return them and will wear this shoe in the winter with my thick socks. I plan on ordering the same shoe in size 8 for the summer.

These are the best replacement I have been able to find for the New Balance style #1123 athletic/sneakers which I loved & owned several pairs of over the years. These Vionic shoes fit well, have very good arch support, good amount - but not too much - of toe room width & height. I would like more cushioning in the insole (like the NB 1123s), but these are okay with the medium thick sneaker socks I've been wearing. So far have only used these on my treadmill; still using an old pair of NB 1123s for outside walking. I have also been happy with Vionic flip flops and a cute pair of casual flats. So Vionic is now one of my top brands.

I bought these for my wife who has chronic problems with her feet and knees. These shoes work as advertised, and helped straighten her legs and enable her to stay on her feet longer. She does complain that the arch supports dig into her flat arches, but all arch supports do that, as designed. Overall, she is definitely happy enough to suggest buying more.

Attractive, but "old school" looking shoe. I found this shoe to be too narrow and it pinched my big toe. I also found there is not enough cushioning under the forefoot area making it feel like I was almost walking barefoot. Sent back.

I've worn New Balance for many years, but felt this shoe since designed by an MD would work better for my feet. I was very disappointed when I wore it first time today. The 9.5 was too big (I always wore 9.5 or 9.5w or 10). There is not enough padding and the heels are do not have enough support for me...I cannot wear a flat shoe. Seemingly, each and every person has a different foot...much like fingerprint. I even tried a Saucony for the first time; actually it worked better than the Orthaheel. I will probably go back to a good New Balance.

These are sturdy shoes with lots of support. I like to wear them for walking, but they are sort of stiff and my feet are happy to get out of them (as with pretty much any shoe) at the end of the day.

Very stiff shoe, and not in a good way. It may be my fault that the medium doesn't fit since a bunion has widened my foot, so I don't count that against the shoe. Thanks, Zappos, for letting me return it.

This shoe is comfortable and supportive. It has excellent arch support and cushioning. It is definitely NOT a fashion statement, so if you are looking for something with style, this is not for you. It works well under scrub pants. I work at a nursing home and do a lot of lifting and standing for long periods of time. This shoe helped reduce back pain, and aching knees, and feet.
