Thought I'd try this shoe, since I've had such good luck with Vionic sandals. I've been wearing a running-type shoe, not leather, so I found this shoe too stiff for me, and I could tell it probably would be too warm, as well. I went with the Brooks Ghost 9 instead.

These shoes do help with Planter Fascistis. However, the right shoe immediately caused a blister on my little toe due to roughness inside. And I also have to implement arch with additional inserts as arches are not as supportive in shoes as in years past.

This seems to give arch support but it is rather"old lady" looking.

This shoe is very comfortable. I have flat feet and I have a job where I stand and walk a lot. I am very happy with this shoe. I noticed a decrease in my foot and hip pain the first day.

I've bought several vionic shoes and flip flops. These were just too stiff for me to wear. Thank you to Zappos for easy returns!

I have been buying Vionic walkers to wear to work for years and for everyday for years. I find them comfortable to walk in and my feet do not swell up in them when I wear them all day. I have arthritis in my feet and these shoes make it comfortable to walk when I have to walk around all day. For a change I bought the taupe for work. My podiatrist recommends I switch out my shoes and wear one pair one day and the other the next. I was getting the black one mixed up and so I went to the taupe to help me keep track easier. They also fit the orthotics I have to wear in my shoes.

I'm super happy with this brand and these shoes. My only caveats are that the heel back and heel cushion have worn down faster than I would have liked.

VERY comfortable for those of us who work 12 hours on concrete floors. Wish this level of comfort was available with greater style, this is a bit ho-hum but will settle for comfort as I am a long time Vionic fan.

these were SO comfortable, but the arch support was too high for my feet. Was tempted to keep them, but I know that my arches would be sore after a day wearing them.

I normally wear a 10 in athletic shoes and these fit well in that size. I liked everything about the shoe, except that it was too big in the heel on me. I have narrow heels and have a very hard time finding an athletic/walking shoe to fit well in the heel. I have tried various things to make them more snug, but have, over the years, realized that if the shoe doesn't fit right as is, it is never going to to fit well, and to just not keep it. So, these were sent back... the search goes on.

These sneakers were great. My back certainly felt a lot better with the orthoheel and arch support. I still find sneakers a clumsy shoe to wear but for walking my dogs, these are the best.

The walking shoes run very large and are quite loose in the heel. The correct size feels great though. I reordered a size 7. The shoes are really ugly, even a nun would blush to wear them, but they fit very well. I like my small feet to look small, but these look like clunkers. I am so happy that they fit; I just won't look down at them. Living in Hawaii, I never wear a closed in shoe. These are for trekking through Europe.

These shoes are definitely wide in the toe box and that is a good thing. Took a bit to break in but now so comfortable. Glad I found them!

Was just not comfortable. The padding at the heel was curved funny so it dug into my foot near the heel. Not as comfortable as other Vionics I own. Very disappointed. They might work fine for someone else but would have left me with bruises.

This is a very nice shoe but wrong for my foot. The arch support hits me too far back by the heel. Very disappointing.

I previously purchased this Vionic walker in both black and white. The supportive instep is perfect for my plantar fasciitis. I need wide to double wide to accommodate my bunion. All three colors come in wide width. I would give the black and white purchases five stars. My current beige purchase seems to be a bit narrower than my other colors. For this reason I'm giving the beige four stars. I'm hoping that they will stretch as they break in.

As long as I wear thick socks these shoes are good walkers. With thin, summer socks the seams on the toe box rub blisters on my small toe. My older feet need more padding on the sole so the thick socks help there too. I probably will not buy a second pair.

Yes, they are big and ugly! I find this shoe to be moderately comfortable and all-around large, on my high instep, narrow heel, feet. Wearing a thick sock helps take up excess space. I found the shoe to be true-to-size: neither too short or too long. The right shoe has a correctly-placed arch support, the left shoe does not.

Normally I wear a medium width, but since Vionic purchased Orthaheel I have to wear a wide width, as these ran very narrow.

Ordered my usual size (6.5W) based on reviews. My feet are somewhat wide and I'm obsessed with my toes not being pinched. 6.5 is just the right length if I don't want to wear thick socks. They are not particularly wide though. Returning them for a pair of New Balance who actually makes their shoes wide. Orthotic is great. Does not seem like much cushion though. Also, hence the New Balance. I'll just use my own orthotic.

I ordered this shoe in three sizes and widths as I'm a hard fit. I liked everything about this shoe except where the arch hit on my foot. I have a high instep and need good arch support and this arch hit behind my natural arch. I would recommend this shoe in all other ways.

Love the Vionic brand. These shoes are great for walking and hiking. They could be a bit more stylish but I'll settle on the comfort over the looks.

I wore these straight out of the box. They were definitely comfortable. They weren't quite as supportive as I expected but there was more support than I've noticed in other walking shoes. My only gripe (and this applies to all athletic shoes not just these) is that the shoelaces never seem to hold firmly. They loosen and eventually come untied.

I like the sneakers, BUT the insert is awful. It actually hurts to wear. I am going to take it out and put in something else.

Cons: I feel like I'm wearing my grandma's orthopedic shoes. They just look really big on my feet. They make my feet hot. They come up high around the ankle and rub on the ankle some. Not painful though. Pros: My feet don't hurt. My knees don't hurt. No break in time required. The first time I tried them on the insole felt hard & uncomfortable. But that ended once I moved around in them.
