Very comfortable shoe. True to size. Orthopedic without looking like an orthopedic shoe. Feels uncomfortable at first but feet definitely feel better once you get used to them! Purchased the Orthaheel flip flops too!

So far this shoe has proven to be exceptional. No breaking in period; have been wearing it for work. Work is in a Hospital kitchen--and on my feet 45 to 50 hrs a week.

I am a first time customer. The shoe I chose is helping my pronation immeasurably. Prior to wearing this shoe I have been somewhat hobbled with a custom made cast/boot that was extremely uncomfortable to wear. I am no longer wearing the boot as these shoes seem to keep my foot upright and in the proper position, however I am also still using the arch prothesis I have worn for years. I also had reason for an exchange, it was done overnight and with satisfaction. I recommend this company to any I talk to.

Love these shoes. I have plantar fascia, nerve damage, tendinitis, cysts, and tarsal tunnel. I have seen such a huge improvement pain wise. I can walk for longer periods of time and stand as well. Best thing I have ever spent my money on! Can't wait to buy more!

This is the shoe for Plantar Fasciitis, period. It's not pretty; it's not cushy, but it does the trick. I was tired of having to put all kinds of arch supports and inserts in every pair of shoes, so I finally broke down and got the big guns: Orthaheel Walkers. I hate athletic-type shoes, but I really needed some relief from this heel pain with a shoe I could wear on stone floors for 11-12 hours a day. I hate to admit it, but these do the job. If you are not used to a gigantic arch support, it will take some getting used to, but that's the thing that helps. They run very large, especially in the toe area, and for some reason, they don't come in a 5 1/2. They jump from 5 to 6. I ordered the 6, my normal size and I had to put a whole separate insole underneath the Orthaheel one, just to take up the extra space. So, definitely order 1/2 to a full size smaller.

Like these shoes a lot. I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. These are just what the doctor ordered. They are very lightweight and are comfortable. They are the next best thing to actually getting custom orthotics or having shoes custom made for you. Since I wear Orthaheel sandals and slides I had no break in period required nor did I have to try on different sizes for the right fit. Great pair of shoes. Hope they work for you as well.

I won't lie to you--it took QUITE a while to get used to these shoes. But with family history of bunions and my own well under way, I know that a very well supported arch and plenty of toe room are the keys to happier feet. Normally I wear an 8.5 Wide or a 9, but in the effort of happy feet I went with the 9 Wide. They are a little long but the toe box is very nicely roomy. I wish I could find something in between lots of arch support and softness. My metatarsalgia is still bothering me.

I bought 2 pair of these and find they provide excellent support and make being on my feet all day much easier. They alleviate my back, hip, knee, and leg pain because the heel design helps me walker straighter. I will definitely buy more of these. I like the bits of color on the design that helps keep my pairs organized without overwhelming the shoe color.

I work 12 hour shift and I was having problems with my lower back. My chiropractor recommended Orthaheel and I have noticed the difference. This is my second pair, these are not the best looking shoes but they keep me pain free, which is much more important to me.

I have a heel spur and plantar fasciitis, which is very painful with I walk or take step classes. So I thought I would try the Orthaheel Walker. I cannot say that it was a miracle disguised as a shoe, but I will say that the shoe was worth the money. I still have pain, but it is diminished 50% when I where these when exercising.

I bought these shoes because I walk home from work and have been suffering from plantar fasciitis in both feet. It was once unbearable to walk any length of time, but these shoes have worked wonders! I do not get the same pain I once did. I was skeptical at first because the shoes do take some getting used to - as the maker suggests. The first few days of wearing them left my feet sore; however, now I won't walk home without them. Also, I have tried many other types of shoes/and inserts. But these work the best. If you have plantar fasciitis and have high arches, these will help!

The first time wearing this brand. Been wearing them for about several days. So far, I’m satisfied. I walk several miles a day (part of daily exercise routine), so durability is important to me. I haven’t worm them long rough to address the durability, yet.

These are very comfy, but I did need to add my orthotic to get enough support. They give me some spring in my step.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box. True to size. Very supportive. I docked one star because they are huge looking. I always feel like I'm wearing my dad's shoes.

The shoe was too narrow to give it any kind of a comfort rating. It appears the quality was very well made. Must return.

I was excited to try this brand since my dr recommended them. I don't mind paying more for a comfortable shoe since I stand all day. However, it needs to feel like I am walking on clouds. This shoe was not it and rubbed a place on my left foot where I had to wear a band aid under my sock. I will be returning this pair.

The size was right, but it felt as though I was walking on boards. Sadly, they had to go back.

Slightly clunky looking, but comfortable and relieves my plantar fasciitis. Bought the white with purple detail to go well with most of my outfits. The leather keeps my feet warm in the cold weather without getting too hot.

The Walker Classic: my first pair of Vionic shoes. I am 65 and have had jobs where I have been on my feet all day. Currently working in a grocery store. I have just been seen by a podiatrist for fallen arches and ankle arthritis. When I went for my orthotic fitting, the orthotist had the same shoes on!! Go figure...anyway, I have worn them for about 2 weeks now. They were a little hard feeling at first, but I did notice the arch support was very nice. They also have a heel toe walk feel, which is good because i walk a bit on the outside of my feet. I did get a half size bigger; they are wonderfully roomy but not too big. I find them very comfortable now and will probably get another pair of sneakers and some flip flops with summer coming, not soon enough. A non slip version of this would be wonderful.
