This is a sneaker that offers excellent arch support especially for those with moderate to severe pronation. The support allows you to wear the sneaker without orthotics if you normally wear them in your shoes. The sneaker runs a little short so I'd suggest buying a half size larger than your regular size. I am normally a size 10 1/2 and the size 11 fit me comfortably. These sneakers aren't the most stylish but for those who are looking for a walking sneaker that has great support this is it!

I ordered these for my wife and she loves them! She is a waitress and is on her feet for at least 8 hours. She says they're very comfortable and Zappos shipped them to us very quickly, thank you!

When I tried these on, the first thing I noticed was the arch. I thought "Oh no, these are not going to work for me." But I did as suggested, wearing them around the house a little at a time. After about 4 days, I wore them to work. I walk about 10,000 steps a day while working. I was able to wear them about 4 hours. Now, I am wearing them for my whole shift. I have never been able to wear any shoe for more than 4 hours at a time. I still notice the arch when I put them on, but evidently it is working for me! It is amazing how good I feel at the end of my work day. I used to hobble home and limp around all night. Not anymore! I am so happy with these shoes, I will continue to buy the sneaker and just ordered a mule. Hope it is just as comfortable. Thanks for helping me fix my foot problems. Also, Zappos makes it very easy to order and return items. Thanks again!

The most comfortable walking shoe I've ever used, and I've used all the top brands. I gave 4 stars to style only because, let's face it, has a walking shoe ever looked great.

I love these shoes! I expected to have to "break them in", what a pleasant surprise the first time I wore them to work out my feet and legs didn't hurt! I have been wearing this brand of sandals for over a year and they are wonderful so when I saw these walking shoes I had to try them. I wasn't disappointed, I wear a 10 wide and they fit beautifully. I am a severe pronater and I love the insole that helps to keep my ankles in the correct position.

have found that by wearing Orthaheel shoes from Zappos I no longer have the pain of planter fascia. It took several months, but stretching and wearing the great support shoes paid off. I saw an orthopedic doctor at Mayo Clinic who is a specialist in my problem, and he immediately complimented me on the Orthaheeel sandals, saying that they were the key to a cure. Although I no longer have the pain, I find that if I wear the Orthaheel sandals, bedroom slippers, tennis and other shoes at least most of the day, my feet don't hurt. In fact, I am getting rid of all my flat shoes! He also told me that I would have much more success in preventing it's return if I NEVER went barefooted, so the bedroom slippers have been great. He also said that surgery was unnecessary, that time, anti-inflammatory and good support shoes would do the trick and they did. (He also said that surgery caused damage to the cushion in your heel and that EVERYONE had heel spurs and that they did not cause the problem, but stress/inflammation of the foot tendons was the problem! (Check out Mayo Clinic's website for more information.) Anyway, Orthaheel shoes are the best medicine. Zappos is fast, supportive and a great company that carries a good line of Orthaheels.

Great shoes if you are over pronated. They run very big. Normally wear a 6, had to order a 5. 5.5 would have been perfect but they don't make it. Very high arch and good support. Takes a little time to get used to but worth it.

Found the Orthaheels this summer and loved them! But, what was I going to wear in the winter? Well found the walkers and thought I would give them a try. Love them! I bought black because I think they will blend in better at work than the white ones at work.

Shoes are comfortable and have good arch and heel support. Found them a bit wider than expected, but are fine if you were a medium to heavy sock.

I am in love with Orthaheel. I have plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, tarsal tunnel, cyst, and nerve damage. I have been gone to the beach since my surgery and have not been able to enjoy it because it hurt to do too much walking. This year after buying my new best friends I took them for a stroll first a small one and then I walked four miles in them. I have not walked four miles in sandals in years! I love them and I just bought eight new pairs. They are worth every single penny!

I purchased these for my mother in law who has had some foot troubles. She had gone to a specialist and had inserts made but said they were terribly painful. A friend recommended these so we purchased them and she loves them. She had a trip to Europe and needed a good walking shoes and these served wonderfully!

I rarely write reviews, but these sneakers are like a dream come true! If you have foot, ankle, leg or back pain, these sneakers solve all of that. I actually feel like a "normal" person and have started taking walks again. Love them, and am now ordering a second pair.

Absolutely love these sneakers. Comfortable even walking in NYC. My knees & back felt much better when wearing them. If you pronate, get these sneakers - you will not regret it.

These shoes look and feel good. They work well for me. I have plantar fascia and these are the only other shoes I wear besides my Danskos. Love these and highly recommend! And as always cannot say enough how awesome Zappos service is! The shoes arrived super quick!

Bought these shoes to take on summer holiday to Scotland and Paris. Both places have cobblestone streets as well as green space. These shoes kept my feet comfortable and energetic the whole time! Lots of arch support, wide toe-box even in the m. width so no pinching, no heel slipping. My feet are two different sizes 7.5 on the right and 8 on the left but the 8 worked great. Don't buy these if you don't have a high arch, they would feel odd. We walked on average seven hours a day and my feet felt great at the end of the day.

Orthaheel walkers are the best. I have fallen arches, arthritis and weak ankles. After wearing them about a week I was amazed. My balance was so much better and my leg and back pain went away. Even my back was straighter. My mother and grandson couldn't find me in the mall. She said, It's those darn sneakers!

Here is another nurse that could barely walk thanks to plantar fasciitis. I tried PT, graphite inserts, heel pads...whatever anyone suggested, with minimal to no results. While searching for something I found these shoes...maybe?! Miracle! After work I actually walked on the treadmill without issue. And two weeks later I bought another style of Orthaheel shoes.

My new favorite sneaker. Have had a hard time fitting my custom orthotics into sneakers, there is no need with these great shoes! Plus the toebox is roomy and comfortable. As with all orthaheel, you have to ease into wearing them for long periods of time, but I am in love with these shoes after a few weeks. Will definitely order more, and have already purchased sandals which are great.

I was leery of ever finding shoes that would really do what they said they would re arches and real help with damaged feet. The minute I put these shoes on my feet sighed, "Ohhhh, Thank you!" I'm serious, these shoes are worth every penny. They're the best, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. If you have leg problems caused by bad arches, these shoes have serious arches built in and soft bottom heels for those with heel problems. My doctor even took a good look at them to tell other patients about and she was impressed enough with them to take notes. There is plenty of toe room too, and even though they may look narrow in the photo they're not. They're perfect.

I love this shoe. Have tried several others, since I use orthotics, this is the only one that worked for my job walking/standing all the time. The Orthaheel balance healed the ball of foot problems. I have 6 different pairs of Orthaheel shoes. Love them! Actually took 10 pairs of other shoes to thrift shop last week.

These certainly live up to their fine reputation. They are great! I plan on ordering some of their sandals for the summer. I suffer from both fasciitis and spurs as well as knee pain. These provide the most comfort of any shoes I've tried in the past 5 years. I ordered a 9 because I knew I'd wear socks but next time I'll order my true size 8 1/2.

So far, so good! Just got these shoes. I have the Tide flip flops and love them. I think these run a little large. I usually wear an 8, but could have used a 7 1/2. They also seem wide in the toe box. They are very roomy so I kept them. They have a great arch and deep heel cup. They feel better than my prescription orthotics.
