One of the shoes arrived with the footbed peeling. Users who say this footbed is hard are correct. This pattern on the footbed can peel off.

I bought these on the recommendation of a friend who loves her Orthaheel shoes. Unfortunately, they don't work for me. The bumps on the insole are uncomfortable and I don't wear them often enough to adjust to the off-balance feel.

Center of the flower came off within wearing this 3 times, as well at the stitching on the flower is coming apart. However, I have a pair of the South Beach Orthaheel sandals and love them.

Let me explain my rating. I love these shoes...the design of the foot bed are the most comfortable, very good arch support and the style is great. I have three different styles (Allegre Flip Flop, Lori Flower Flip Flop & South Beach Flip) of Orthaheels. But (and it is a big but), the material used to cover the soles of the shoes peels. It seems to be covered with a plastic skin that will rub off and continues to rub away. These sandals will be unwearable by the end of the summer. All three pair of these have places that are peeling. I scuffed one pair on steps during vacation which peeled the front edge of the sandal off. I am very disappointed in these shoes. I thought I had finally found a sandal that I could wear without food pain. These sandals do not hold up to everyday use or every week use. My oldest pair have a hole where the ball of foot goes. Orthaheel, please do something about this issue and I will be one of your best customers. I will not buy another pair at this price. Great design in the foot bed (arch support and heel comfort) but worthless in the material used.

Really liked this shoe. It fit great but made and awful squeeking noise with every step. very annoying. Had to return them.

I was looking for a flip flop with arch support, and thought these looked cute. I was disappointed when I got them - they are quite big and clunky. The arch support did not feel right to me. It was very high on the instep, but had no support closer to the outside of the foot, which is where I have pain. I returned them and ordered a pair of Chacos EcoTreads which feel wonderful, and don't look like orthotic shoes.

I am afraid these did not work for me. I recently got a pair of Orthaheel Tide flip-flops, and I loved them so much that I decided to try another Orthaheel style. I knew from last time that they run large, so I ordered half a size smaller (which was the same as my previous pair), but these did not fit the same way as the Tide in the same size. There was too much footbed past the ends of my toes, the strap felt too tight (it was stiff too, I thought the edges would give me blisters), and the thong was not comfortable between my toes. I think I will just get another Tide in a different color.

The faux rattan-covered pattern of the foot bed (on left shoe only) has completely worn off on the heel after less than 50 days of wear.
