I normally take a 9 1/2 but ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly. I have issues with heel plantar fasciitis and decided to order the Orthaheel tide after reading all of the reviews. I love the arch support it gives me. Also, my foot doctor agreed that a person can't live in sneakers forever and that the Orthaheel Tide was an excellent sandal. I plan to order several other colors and try one of the more fancy Orthaheel styles.

Wasn't sure if I was going to like them at first but after wearing and getting used to the feel, they are very supportive and comfortable. I'd buy another pair if they weren't so expensive.

Most amazing shoe I've ever worn. I have never been able to wear "store shoes" because I require orthotics for my plantar faciitis, but now I can. I will be buying Orthaheels for now on for all my shoe needs!

If you have heel pain, these are the flip flops for you. They provide excellent arch support and are extremely comfortable, though if you are used to walking in sandals without any arch support, you may find these a little intense at first. I ordered the salmon and brown combo, and the coloring is true to the picture. Because they are designed to provide arch support, they are much heavier than a typical flip flop, and I felt them dragging under my feet when I walked. I think this can be solved by going down a size, as I have quite narrow feet.

Love them. Great arch support compared to cheap flip flops. I bought tan and blue too.

The best flip flops! I won't wear anything else. I have plantar fasciitis in both of my feet and it is wonderful to have cute shoes that don't hurt my feet! If you don't have to normally wear an orthopedic shoe, this brand may feel a wide but it is perfect for me who can only wear orthopedic shoes now.

Purchased my first pair of Orthaheels and I'm in heaven. The fit, support and comfort = excellent. I walked in them for a day and didn't experience my usual heel pain. I am now a convert.

I normally wear custom made orthotics since I've had multiple foot surgeries. These are the best flip flop style sandals I've found that don't hurt my feet. I've also received several compliments on the sandals, so I would recommend them to others.

I absolutely love them and couldn't imagine not owning them! I'm 40 years old and have the worst flat feet with no arch.When I put this Orthaheel Tide flip flop on, it's like I have new feet and I can walk for hours in them. Love them...I have 5 pairs now and I wear them with almost everything, I'm a size 8 and ordered the 8.

Ok, I'll be the first to admit that flip flops should not cost this much but I have to say these offer excellent support and comfort. I have 2 other pairs of orthaheel sandals in "more fashionalble" styles but these are by far the most comfortable. As always, Zappos had them to my door in less than 3 days. I buy most of my shoes on line and would buy more from Zappos if the prices were as competitive as their customer service.

I wear flip flops all summer long but had some minor problems due to the lack of good support. When I saw these shoes online and read a few of the highly favorable reviews, I knew I had to give them a try. They're comfortable right out of the box. The footbed has a bit of texture to keep your feet from slipping, especially helpful if you wear them to the beach or in the rain. The strap is soft and looks very nice with a bit of patent leather. I have a wide foot and was concerned that these might not be wide enough. But the width is perfect. The generous arch support makes you feel as if you're walking on the outside of your foot so I'm following the suggestion to only wear them for a few hours at a time at first. But I WANT to wear them all the time. When my husband saw them he asked me to order him a pair, which I did -- and also ordered a second pair in a different color for me.

Orthaheel is always the best in foot pain relief. I can't wear any other flip flop because my arches hurt so badly in them. I thought I was not going to be able to wear sandals at all anymore. I have only tried this style so far. Have had the black for a over a year and still in great shape though I wear them often.

I actually received the coral and tan! Love them. Best shoe ever. I have back pain but no more...

These are the best flip flops I have ever purchased. The arch support is excellent. I wear them around the house all day and for running errands. I normally wear an 8W but the 8M fits great.

These are the best flip flops for folks who have arches that need support and feet that lean inward. I put them on most evenings , thoughout the year, after a long day at the office. I have wide feet, so they don't fit perfectly at the toe bed, but the comfort factor more than compensates for that little issue.

Those Shoes changed my life amazing and so helpful.The pain went away and pointed out that I need shoes like this on a daily basis. At first I was rather painful to wear but I could tell that my foot adjusted and the pain I had for the past 5 years subsided.

I love these! I read the reviews and decided to spend the extra money on what I was finally looking for in a flip flop. I have flatter feat and tend to over pronate inward. I like the reef brand of flip flops for short term wear, but really needed support for a longer term wear. The first few times yo wear them, you have to ease into them due to the super supportive arch, but after that, they are the best. The style is not nearly as bad as you think it would be for an orthopedic type shoe. The beauty of zappos is that you get the free shipping, and its worth it. I'm sold on these and plan to get another color.

I recently purchased my first pair of Orthaheel Tide sandals. I love the support they give my feet. I have a high arch and narrow foot so I really appreciate the arch support and deep heel base. I will be buying other Orthaheel sandals and shoes! I took other reviewers advice and ordered a half size smaller and they are a perfect fit!

This is my 2nd pair of Orthaheel Tide sandals. I love them and the way they make my feet feel! No more foot pain and lower back pain!

I was pretty desperate for flip flops that would provide support and help with the foot pain I get from Plantar Fasciitis. These shoes arrived pretty quickly. They were not comfortable at first. As a matter of fact, I was tempted to send them back. The flyer that comes with the Orthaheel shoes says that it will take a few weeks to get used to. The arch support repositions your foot which helps with foot, knee, hip and back pain. After a break-in period of about 2-3 weeks I am now used to wearing these shoes. If you are like me, I would never spend this much for "flip flops" but believe me the the price is worth it. These shoes are also very sturdy. I usually wear an 8.5M but ordered the 8M and the fit is great. I like the patent strip on the strap...kind of dresses them up.

I have plantar fasciitis but I wear flip-flops all the time in the summer - the cheap ones. I could not believe I was spending this much for flip-flops. When they arrived, I tried them on and I felt like I was walking with a big lump in my arch and I almost returned them. I am so glad that I did not because I love these shoes. They took a few days to get used to but now I wear them all the time. After spending an entire day on my feet walking around my back no longer hurts and my feet feel great. The construction is good and they seem like they will last for years.

Based on customer reviews I was pretty confident that I would like the Orthaheel Tide. Everything in the reviews was accurate, but I did not realize how much I would dislike having the thong between my toes. I will have to switch to a style without that feature. Too bad!

I was not sure about spending this much on a pair of flip flops, but my feet were killing me. I couldn't step out of bed in the morning with out severe pain, PF was taking its toll. I love these shoes they have given the support I needed in the right places. I never wore shoes in the house before, always have gone barefoot, but I now have found that the support I get from wearing these is invaluable. Totally worth the money and I will be purchasing more of these! They are very well made, I am hard on shoes, do a lot of work outside and they have held up great. Now I'll try some of the pretty colors!

I wear flip-flops eight months or more per year. In the spring/summer they are my gardening shoes, slippers, and, well, just about everything shoe. However, after hours of wear with other flip-flops my feet would be achy, but not with Orthoheel. They provide great arch and heel support and are very well made. I am ordering another pair.

The only truly supportive flip flops I've ever found. They're not squishy and soft if that's what you're looking for, but if you have flat feet and need solid arch support, they're amazing.
