These were easy to break-in and toe post did not give me any discomfort. They are good for short trips around the house, but I found that they do not have the support that I desire on longer walks. Many times I feel like I have two cork boards strapped to my feet.

Spenco's quality has fallen off a cliff. I just bought a new pair to replace a 5 year old pair, and they replaced the sole with a single piece of soft foam (5 year old model on the right, new model on the left). Another reviewer posted a picture of the sole getting completely worn off, which would never happen with the old model. I'm returning these and looking for another brand. It's a shame because these used to be the best.

I really wanted to like these based on the reviews and HOURS of shopping for the right ones. A poor decision to use CORK as the footbed! Sweaty, slippery footbed after wearing while seated to write this review and shop for replacement!

I have bought a pair of Spencos before in a 7W and they are perfect. These are a good size larger, maybe even more than an 8. Strap is too loose maybe because it's so big. Comfort irrelevant if the shoe is too long. Can't figure out why. Have to return.

Was looking for more of an arch support. Was nowhere as advertised. Must be good for flat feet only. Size is bigger then normal. It needs half sizes. My current sandals are Moszkito's, they seem to have the best arch support, but are all leather (rubber sole) not good to get wet.
