I bought this shoe for its arch support and it has impressed me very much. I also purchased it in brown.

This is my second pair of Spenco Yumi sandals had the first pair for over 2 years. A very comfortable sandal that fits perfect! This was my first time using Zappos and it won't be the last. Called to talk to a customer service representative which was extremely helpful in placing my order.

I have plantar fasciitis and purchased these after reading several reviews which described them as having high arches. They are supportive sandals, but not high enough to help with my pf. I have a pair of Orthaheels which are better for that. All around good looking supportive sandals.

I had been looking for a new pair of flip flops to replace my Reefs for some time. I took a chance on these and am really glad I did. I haven't had the chance to wear them extensively yet, but right out of the box they fit perfectly. Great arch support, which is rare for flip flops and a cradled fit all around. A lot of flip flops I've owned in the past tend to float around on my feet, but these conform and support the foot throughout. These also offer a great mix of style and comfort, which is not that common. Very pleased.

Brilliant! Supportive, comfortable and durable even for a 240 pound man. I wear these all day and never get sore feet. They run about one half size big and a little narrow.

This makes the second time I have used Zappos and it will not be the last. I am unable to find many shoes in my size locally and I like the Free Shipping and no hassle returns.

My husband suffers from Metatarsalitis. I bought these Spenco flip flops for him this summer and he loves them! Says he can't wait to come home and put them on because they provide more relief than anything he has tried, including doctor prescribed solutions. Now if they only made one for winter, because he needs something warmer.

This style to me is a flip flop. The foot bed is well thoughtout with a nice arch support. I have a narrow foot (C toe, B heel) and high arch. These fit much more securely than the Spenco slides due to the thong style. I tried Spenco slides but they were way too loose. I'm hoing Spenco will come out with a full sandal style.

Perfect flip flops for arch support. Straps are a bit on the thick side compared to Chaco. Comfort and cushioning are great for a flip flop.

Not the best looking flip flop I've owned and I've owned plenty, but definitely the best arch support.

Having a small, wide, pudgy foot makes shoe, sneaker, and sandal shopping a gut wrencher...I keep putting it off until I absolutely need new footwear. I'm normally an 8 1/2 4E in dress shoes...the same in New Balance sneakers, a 9W in Nike & Under Armour sneakers (and they're still a bit snug). I read about Spenco sandals having a wide width and poured over the reviews, but never pulled the trigger. Normally when I buy sandals, I go to a surf shop and try on all that I can find until I strike gold....maybe one in 30 fit me. Knowing this time consuming process, I took a shot and tried the Spenco's in black. I bought a size 9 in the wide width and they fit like a glove right out of the box...and based on their design, they have to fit perfectly. There's a heel cup built into the design (not flat) and without the proper fit, they could be terrible. But for me, they're fantastic! The heel & ball of my foot are cradled in comfort and I have support for the first time in my arch. The part that goes in between your two toes is smooth and causes no irritation at all...which is another issue for me that makes me also buy slide-on sandals. Finally a sandal that makes me believe I can walk a good distance while wearing them. Normally I have to carry sneakers in my car if my trip to the beach involves walking the boardwalk later in the day...no more! I can't speak to the overall wear as I've only had them a week or so...but for me, if they last me one Summer and takes the overall doubt away about foot comfort while wearing them, it's money well spent. My advice if you have a wide foot, buy them the half size larger and go for it!

Comfortable and the size was perfect.

These seem to fit a half size small. I bought my husband these (Spenco Yumi in Medium Brown) despite not being a fan of the thong style flip-flop but needing an arch support. He said they were instantly comfortable, no break in period. He is a true size 10, these just fit (a 10½ would have been perfect), but because his heel was on the very back edge and slipped off a bit when walking, he is getting a size 11 to compare which fits better and will return the one that does not. He said these are the perfect pool, beach, and house slipper flip-flops.

So far I've worn them around house on hardwood floors. They are comfortable for flip flops and have a solid supported feel about them. The sizes run large so I'm wearing a M10 when I often buy 10 1/2 or 11. I love the cork bed under my feet, preferred that over the other material.

Overall a great shoe for the money. Durable with fit and finish done well. The arch support is moderate, better than most, but could be more supportive. I like a shoe that I can feel the arch support, but what open toe shoe without a custom insert has the right arch support?

I like the support these give and they seem like they will hold up better than a different brand I have. I have taken to wearing these a lot due to foot issues. I have also been taking other steps to help relieve the pain but I think these have been an important part of the process.

While these definitely have arch support, it is medium to moderate. They also have metatarsal bump which is a elevation behind the toes on your foot. It's a little unusual if you're not used to it but is a part of the orthotic design. The inside material on the lighter brown versions looks like it is composite cork or such, but I think it is solid and man-made.

I ordered these for the support, they have very moderate arch support and run narrow. Overall they are ok, nothing special.

Amazing flip flops. Very supportive. I have plantar fasciitis and don't have any pain when I wear these. They're incredibly comfortable and cushioning as well. The cork isn't soft, but supports and cushions really well, better than any flip flops I've ever worn. Two minor issues. 1) the fabric isn't anti-bacterial, so they can get some healthy stink going after some use. 2) after about 6 months of wearing mine, the toe strap broke. This shouldn't happen on flip flops at this price.

Ok, I get it. They had a really great product. Everybody liked it. So they changed it. Sandals are now narrower. If you liked them before and they were marginally wide enough, you will probably not like the new fit.

Really large straps. My foot fit on the footbed but fell out of the straps. Super high rigid arch like their insoles.
