These shoes are very comfy for standing in all day. I am a lawyer and I wear them a lot. They are not "glamor" shoes, but they look nice with everything and are neat and professional and comfortable to stand and walk in.

I love these shoes! I just bought my 3rd pair. They are super comfortable and very work-appropriate. I am thinking about stocking up with a few more because I haven't found a work shoe that I like any better.

Good office shoes. I ordered them in black Extra Wide. The toe box, which is the most problematic for me, fits perfectly. They're a tiny bit big in the heel, but not enough to complain about, just enough to notice that there's more room back there than usual. I'm intending to keep these at work, for office wear and they're perfectly suited for that.

They are much more comfortable than I expected. I should walk in them all day at work on the first day I got them. But keep in mind that are not snickers, feet get tired at the end of the day.

I have very difficult feet to wear heels. I was looking for good dressy/business wear heels. I really liked how the reviewers said these were comfortable and stylish. The upper is very flexible, even if the tip is a little tight at the first wearing. It softens up as you break it in. Very comfortable, I almost forgot I was wearing heels!

Love this shoe. Very comfortable right off the bat. I weigh 290 and have knee problems. These did not put a strain on my knees. They might run a little wide. I normally wear 10W. These gap just a bit. I would probably get away with a 10M. However, I'm keeping these as my feet tend to swell in the summer. Will definitely buy this brand again!

These shoes are so comfortable, but they're not cute at all! If you have bunions or wide feet, these are the shoes to get. However, if you want to feel good in your outfit, I wouldn't order these shoes.

I’ve been looking for a pair of black pumps to wear with office dresses, skirts and suits. Most of the black shoes I have are not right – either too flat or too chunky-looking. I think the Fitzwell Captain is the ideal shoe for my purposes. It’s got a perfect heel, just the right shape and height, as I cannot wear high heels anymore. The detailing on the top gives the shoe a nice flair that takes it out of the boring, basic black pump category. The toe has a nice almond shape that makes it look small on the foot. Overall, the look is classic and feminine with just a hint of flirty. The shoe works perfectly with all my business suits, skirts and dresses and they are super comfortable right out of the box. They feel very stable. If I have one complaint, it’s that I wish the leather was of a little better quality. Even so, I ordered an identical black pair as a spare, especially at this sale price. One last thing, they ARE cut large, so yes, order a half size down.

I like the look of the shoes, but the sizing seems off to me. I normally wear a 9-1/2 WW, but in this I ended up going down to a 8-1/2 WW and the heel still needed padding to keep from slipping when I walk.

I like this shoes, I thought its going to be smaller for me, but I surprise its a little bit bigger, but fits ok, I really like it.

This shoe lives up to its description of Wide a little too well. While 90% of the designer Med widths are too narrow in the toe box by 1/4+", these are made for fat feet; not just wide feet.

This shoe is perfect for the event I ordered it for. The heel is just right and it's just dressy enough. Zappos service is awesome. The shoes arrived very quickly and I was able to return the ones I didn't want with no shipping. I will definitely order from them again!

Not as comfortable as I would have hoped. I thought the style was quite cute, but the sole felt really hard, almost no cushioning, and the edges of the shoe really irritated my skin. I think I will probably add an insole and wear them with stockings for a while to break them in. I hope that helps. They just felt a little... thin and flimsy.

Great shoe, but alas I must return because the size 9, which usually fits me, is too large. I plan to exchange for size 8.5.

I like the look of these, and they were wide enough and comfortable. However, after I was wearing them for an hour or so, I started walking out of them because they were kind of long. Not sure if they stretched, or if I just didn't notice until I had them on a while. OK with heel grippers, but I might have returned them if I'd realized.

Based on the other reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear and they were too small. So, I ordered my usual size, and they fit well. I wish they were softer leather, but because they are so cute and I will not wear them very often, I will keep them.

Super comfortable from the moment I first tried it on. The light color doesn't do much for the style. I think it looks better in dark colors, but I needed a shoe to go with Khakis and this worked well.

This is a lovely shoe - but I was surprised that it gaped on the sides when I tried it on, and also noticed the toe was a bit pointier than it seemed in the pictures. I usually wear a 10 or 11, depending on the brand, and ordered the 10.5. It is too big, and I am returning it for a smaller size. I hope the sides don't gape as much and the smaller size fits overall. This is a really pretty shoe on, and I love the mid heel height - it keeps me professional looking, but functional as a walker. It is soft and has a lot of cushion.

I normally wear a 12W or 13 (and usually pick the wrong one). I went with the 12WW this time, and the heel is a bit gappy but otherwise the shoe feels really nice, and is so PRETTY, that I'm not returning it. Will just buy something to close the heels. Worth it for all the roominess in the toe. Might try buying a 12W in the next color I'm definitely going to order.

Basic pump, conservative look without being frumpy. I have very wide feet, the WW was a bit too wide at the heel, but I solved that with heel grips.

I loved the color of these shoes, because it would go with just about anything. However, I had to return them because the heel seemed unstable. It is as though the heel needed to be wider - just a very strange feeling heel.

I should have read all the reviews! I ordered my usual 8W and was swimming in these -- I had at least a half inch of extra length in the heel. I tried reordering again in 7 1/2. Fingers crossed.

This is a cute and comfortable shoe. I can't tell much about how the folds in the leather and the notches around the "throat" of the shoe will wear. I haven't had them long enough. These could be potential points that will show wear earlier than a smooth shoe, without the trim, might. Have decided to keep them anyway.

Comfortable and easy to wear. Great with pants or skirts at the office.
