Love this boot! Gorgeous leather, and it feels great right out of the box. Concerning width (there seem to be different opinions about that), it fits my C-width feet perfectly across the ball of the foot. I can see that someone with wide feet and all toes the same length would find the toe box cramped because of the way it curves. But this isn't a problem if your outer toes are shorter, like mine.

I'll always be a diehard Frye fan but I came across these lace-up, combat style shoes accidentally. What appealed to me about these is the unique toe, the "old" look and the fact they came up higher than my ankle. These are a boot that you actually have to try on for yourself to feel the difference between what brand you usually buy, and what brand you'll be keeping an eye on in the future. The leather is incredibly soft, extremely malleable, yet cushioning and sturdy in the right places. Some other reviewers have said that the shoe is a little long or a little too "clownish" but I think everyone's foot/leg composition is different and I would suggest you try these on for yourself. I bought my usual size (8.5 - all my Fryes are 8.5 too) and I originally thought they may be too long but they're actually not. There is definitely wiggle room, which is a bonus, but it is not loose, or big, or clunky. In real life they don't look clownish as they do on the website. If you purchase these I suggest you go with your usual size and make your judgment call that way. I chose the brown color as I wanted more of the paratrooper vintage look, as opposed to the black (which in my opinion gives it more of a motorcycle boot look - I felt black would give this shoe a completely different image and perhaps wouldn't bring out their uniqueness so much). The toe is sturdy and the shoe part is cushioning around your foot. The leather is so soft on the shaft that you should have no worries about leather digging in or being too hard or uncomfortable. The shaft is a pillow for your ankle. I also like that they can be worn several ways, depending on the look that you're going for. I choose to lace mine up almost to the top and have the top slightly loose-ish. I like that the tongue is attached to the inside of the shoe, rather than the tongue being loose from the shoe. This way, I can simply tuck the laces in behind and my foot will still be secure in the shoe. Yes, it may take some time to do up and undo the laces but the style and feel of the boot should override that small inconvenience. I was so pleased with the fit and feel and comfort and look of this shoe that I immediately purchased the Vintage Shoe Co. Jennifers - I'm looking forward to receiving those, and I will be keeping my eye out for other unique boots of this brand.

These are the best boots I have bought in a really long time. Everything is perfect, the leather quality is top notch, much better than Frye which I always find a bit too stiff, heavy and thick, although I own a few pairs. And the quality and construction are far better than that of Steve Madden boots, which I also have. These were comfortable right from the get go, and I walk several miles per day. At first they were slightly snug across the instep but after literally less than 10 minutes of wearing them in the house, they felt like I had owned them for years. I understand why they have to be snug at first, this type of leather really molds to your foot. Great traction on the soles, with the perfect amount of cushioning and support. I did order half a size down as others recommended, I wear a size 6.5 and I got the 6. My foot measures 9 1/8 long, and had I bought the 6.5, the footbed area would have been too long and it would have looked like I was wearing clown shoes! I own 6 pairs of Vintage Shoe Company boots, and they are all worth every single penny as they will last for years.

I would like to praise both Zappos and also Vintage Shoe Company; I recently bought the Molly Jump Boot, and I'm extremely pleased! For once, the quality is what I'd hoped for! These boots are the Real Thing. Everything went smoothly, and I got just what I wanted. Thank you all for a great shopping experience! (Oh, and worth mentioning, is that each pair of these boots is a little different. I happened to land size-wise with the color I preferred!) Bravo.

These are definitely the best-made boots I own, and I consider myself a connoisseur of sorts. The leather is unbelievably soft, and the craft is sturdy and beautiful. These are actually way better (more elegant look, softer leather, more impressive craft) than I expected. I have worn them nearly every day since getting them - totally worth the price, in my opinion. They were instantly comfortable (the sole felt nicely cushioned right away), and go with everything from jeans to skirts and tights. And I love that they are made in the USA!

I splurged on these boots and have no regrets - love them. I have never spent so much on a shoe before, but I know that these will last a while. They do seem to run on the narrower and smaller side I wear between a 6-7.5; the 7.5 is what fits best (but I can't wear thick socks with them). Once broken in, these boots are great. Love the style and leather quality.

I absolutely love these boots! When I first put them on, the right one felt larger and almost as though it had been stretched out already. After wearing them for about an hour, I decided to go ahead and keep them as it was not too big of a deal. The boots were delivered on a Thursday night and I wore them all day Saturday without any issues/problems.

These boots are so adorable. But a bit too narrow. I usually wear a 6.5 or a 7, and width-wise I am on the just slightly wider side of average. I couldn't even get my foot into the 6.5, and the 7 is just a bit too long. The heel slips a bit, and because the toe shape is pronounced, it looks too clownish since it's pretty much half a size too big. I will very very very sadly be returning these. If they were inexpensive, I'd probably try to make them work, but I just can't excuse it at this price level.

Great soft leather, very nice look. Slightly on the narrow side, but the glory of leather is that has a bit of give. Love them!

I usually wear a size 7, but in these, I wear a 7½. I absolutely love these boots. The first day I got them, I wore them walking all day with my family, usually a big mistake with new shoes, but these were super comfortable. The more I wear them, the more the leather sole conforms to my feet, and the more comfortable they get. The boots are beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what I was looking for. They seem like they are built to last, so I look forward to having them for years to come.

These boots are gorgeous! From my perspective, one rarely sees the level of detailed craftsmanship found in this boot. A seriously soft, sturdy leather upper sits on a truly durable sole. The boot does fit a little larger than the size marked but, I am very happy with the slight extra room at the toe. I actually wore my boots on a trip to Disneyland AND California Adventure only two days after they arrived from Zappos. They were so comfortable, you would have thought I'd been wearing them for years. I am happy to report that my feet were happy little "mouseketeers". Thank you for offering such a beautiful jump boot!

The leather is buttery soft and beautiful and is well worth the price. It is a time consuming process to put on and take off because of height and laces, but it's not unduly difficult.

I absolutely love my Molly boots. My feet have taken quite a beating after years of dog walking and I require a lot of cushion and I need a lace up because I have a low arch so it's difficult to keep my foot stabilized in boots. These are perfection. They are the softest leather and require no break in period. What I will say is I've only had them a few months and I already need them to be re-heeled, but they're definitely worth it. Throwing some vibram on these puppies and taking them through the winter!

So disappointed. I have the wrong foot for this amazing boot. My foot (ball area) is a little too wide for these. The leather (buttery soft and amazing) gives enough for you to fit but my foot overlapped the foot bed on the inside and I felt it walking around. Cut right into the ball and big toe. Not comfortable, serious foot ache. So for this I must send back. Every step was kind of painful. The foot bed itself was nicely padded and comfortable. (Just too narrow for me.) These are super stylish. Leather is the softest I've ever felt, thick and would mold right to your foot and ankle. Everyone throws around the "clownish" term, and I didn't get that vibe at all. Really nicely styled boot. Love the tight fit to the ankle. Fit was spot on as I fit into my normal size. I didn't think they run big or small, just right. These are made very well and I think would only get better with wear. Very impressed with this shoe company great style, workmanship and style.

Beautiful leather boot but it's just a little too big. I needed a half size smaller than my regular size 9. It is a narrow boot. I'm not sure the 8 1/2 will work either. I'll give it a little time.

These are gorgeous and super high quality boots! The leather is soft and buttery. Unfortunately, they run slightly small. I usually wear a size 6.5. They fit, but weren't roomy enough to wear with socks. So sadly, I had to return. Waiting for Zappos to re-stock them in a 7 so I can get another pair!

Adorable, adorable, adorable. At first I thought they might be too small and narrow since I have slightly wider feet. But these shoes, as with any shoes made out of quality leather, stretched and conformed to my feet within a few hours of wearing them. True to size. Have received TONS of compliments on them.

These are the best boots ever! They fit perfectly right out of the box and are so soft and comfortable. I love the way they smell too. Really good harness leather...quality. I ordered my size, 7 1/2 as I wear between a 7 1/2 and an 8. They are also not at all masculine. The boot is a refined cut and do not look at all like the clown toe photos shown. They remind me of 1940's kids oxfords and make my foot look smaller overall. These boots are of high quality construction and I am sure they will just fit better and better as they mold to my feet. I have narrow/medium feet and the instep hugs my feet and still allows my toes to move freely in the toe box. I love these boots and love Zappos! They honored the discount offered to me weeks ago and shipped them to me overnight! I ordered them yesterday late afternoon and had them today! How's that for service?!

These are awesome boots! They are comfortable out of the box with beautiful, supple leather. The toe box is nice for wider feet, but the turned-up, clown foot is very exaggerated in the web pictures, IMO. Not what they look like on my average size 7 feet. I ordered the size 7, and it fits with a little extra room. I would not size up unless you plan on wearing very thick socks all the time or will wear them with orthotics. The arch support is above average considering for flat boots. The only potential con for some may be these boots are obviously not the type that you slip on and off quickly. I have a wide in-step, so I have to unlace to mid-point and then loosen the laces to get my feet in without pulling my socks too tight in the toe. This does not detract from how much I love these jump boots. I eyed these boots for a long time and snatched them up when Zappos put them on sale. They are a great buy but worth full price too!

Is it possible to be in love with a pair of shoes? (Somewhat rhetorical, as most of you would say "of course!") I received these yesterday and am wearing for the first time today. These boots felt immediately broken in straight out of the box (like my feet were getting hugs!). The shaft is a bit taller than I expected, but not a problem at all because the leather is so buttery soft you can barely tell it's there. Some may be annoyed that there is no zipper for easy-on, but I personally prefer no zipper at all as it's more genuine that way. Yes it takes a few more minutes to lace them, but well worth it. I happened to have gotten these on sale (thanks, Z!) but would probably pay full price because they're so nice. The stacked heel looks stiff, but it's not at all. I am usually between 8.5 and 9 depending on maker, but bought these in 9. They fit me in the width but I can see how those with wide feet may have a problem. For me, they fit like a glove! Buy these boots! You won't regret it.
