I decided to try this shoe after wearing another brand for a long time. I wanted to see how it felt to run with less weight and heel so that I could be more of a mid foot striker. Feels good, has more support than I thought it would have, a little difficult getting it on due to the fixed tongue, but I like it.

Great shoes, Great deal, color was a bit "off" on the shoes, but this wasn't Zappos fault. Shoes are listed as red but really look and are hot pink. Nike! Why call them red if they're hot pink?

Comfortable shoe for walking around and basic activities. I tried to participate in a boot camp class in these and there wasn't enough support. They might work well for running for a runner with a neutral strike. Stick with forward (not side-to-side) movement in these!

I am very happy with my purchase. I have foot problems and they are very comfortable. I'm trying to replace a pair of Nikes from a few years ago and these seem to be the closest I have found. They are a little hard to get on because they don't open under the shoe laces, it is just one piece. Love the service!

These shoes are light and cool with good ventilation. I love the turquoise color and have many people ask me where I got them. The only thing I don't like is the arch support-only because I have really high arches but my orthotic took care of that. Not a bulky running shoe, more sleek and feminine looking.

It's a nice shoe. Not a lot of cushion. And I'm not in love w it! But I'm an Asics/Saucony girl.

I only run in these shoes. Love them! Would give them 5 stars except soles wear out pretty quickly. Zappos has amazing service - received my shoes in 24 hours!

Great running shoe. The only problem is pebbles and other things get stuck in the bottom treads. They are really comfortable and work for a 6 mile run.

I'm starting to get into running. Did it before, but never paid attention to the shoes. So far, I love these. Glad I started up again with these. Keep in mind, the red shoe is actually a dark pink-ish color.

I thought these shoes were fine when I was only running 2-3 miles but now that I am going further I am getting blisters on the tops of my toes. Plus the Nike chip sticks up too much and is bothering my arch and giving me a blister there too. I've never had problems with Nike before I think I will go back to basics.

Do not be fooled by the color of these shoes in the pictures! I wanted a true red, but this "Legacy Red" is more plum than red! The laces are almost red but the back of the shoe can only be described as plum. I am very disappointed so these are going back while I continue my search for Nike Free Run shoes that have the true red color! The fit is excellent and true to size and, Zappos, as always, has fabulous service!

I really liked the earlier version of this shoe. This one is more restrictive, and I got a blister on my heel wearing it. A friend of mine has a Reebok with a similar feel to the old Nike. Next time I'll go with that. Also, I wish they'd make it all in black. I don't like all the white.

Loved how light the shoes were, way more narrow than I thought they would be. Bought a whole size bigger than I wear and they were still tight on my feet. 2 hours into wearing them, my feet were in pain.

I had the original Nike Free Run, and loved it but cannot wear the second version. The original was made of all stretchy material so it fit great. This shoe is also stretchy, but the web overlay is not. My foot tends to roll and rotate toward the pinkie toe and the webbing digs in painfully to the pinkie toe. I wish it came in wide so I could see if this fixes the problem.

Like this shoe but it is awkward to put on because the tongue is fixed. Also, the foot bed feels bumpy to me, unlike my last Nike running shoe. I think this has to do with them trying to make it have a barefoot feel. I'm keeping them but they aren't my favorite of the athletic shoes I've bought.

I've run in the Nike Free Run for quite awhile, and was looking forward to the update. This version is far wider than previous versions, so unfortunately it no longer works for me as a running shoe. On the other hand, it's a very comfortable walking-around shoe. I now run in the Nike Free 3.0.

I normally wear a size 9. I know that NIKE runs small, so I ordered a 9.5. These shoes were still a half size too small.

I purchased these shoes almost two months ago. They are great for going to the gym and lifting weights and running a mile or two. But if you are a long distance runner you might want to think twice if you need arch support. My ankles, and even knees, hurt so badly after three or four miles that I have to call it quits. I am 29 years old, so my age does not play a factor in the aches and pains. I really wanted to like these shoes. They are incredibly lightweight and extremely comfortable, look cool, and as said previously they are perfect for going to the gym and lifting weights. I am a runner and these shoes just did not make the cut. I gave them three stars because they are great shoes, just not for runners that need an arch support.

I bought 1/2 size larger and they were too long. Also there was too much room in the toe box. There was no support on the sides and they did not feel supportive enough even for walking. They tend to look something like a pretty "hobo" shoe. Would not recommend them unless your feet are especially wide and strong.

Had to return these because for what they were, they were just too expensive. The arch support had my feet pushing out to the sides, and these looked ridiculous with socks on (which I can't wear shoes without). Overall, if they had been 1/2 the price, I may have kept them because they're excellent looking and would be great for traveling with since they're so lightweight but I couldn't justify this much money on a pair of shoes that really just weren't that great of a fit.

These shoes make my legs hurt, especially my calves. The pain was so intense, I thought I had circulatory problems. However, the pain ceased once I changed running shoes. I was expecting them to be the best running shoes ever, but they are really not. The only thing they got going is how light they are.

Not happy. Right size, wrong fit...for the cost it should have been correct.

I purchased these shoes to wear only in the gym and loved them at first but after a few months, they started squeaking. The noise is coming from the heel and it drives me crazy. I only wear them to the gym so they get mostly indoor wear. For the price I paid, I expect quiet shoes.

I absolutely hated these cheap shoes. After I ran a mile my legs began to cramp and the tongue of the shoe got ripped after running 3 miles! I kept them for five months and I got about 3 holes! They were a nightmare! But with the great service of Zappos I returned them easily.

I love the Nike Free Run+2. I am on my feet all day at work and do a lot of walking. These shoes feel great on my feet. I love that the tongue is not separate so there is no adjusting it and trying to uncurl it. I wear them without socks and the upper lets air into the shoe, keeping my feet comfortable all day. I do not run in these shoes. I am used to a "barefoot" running shoe and these don't work for me for running, but I do highly recommend them for a cute shoe to walk in.
