a recent purchase based on recommendation from an avid OBOZ fan to replace much used Merrells. To date, new OBOZ are stiffer than worn out, but still comfortable Merrells. OBOX are correct size, better looking and waterproof. Also, OK summer temps have limited my opportunities to go hiking. Let's say that we, me and my new footwear, are off to a good start.

I am on my second pair of Firebrand shoes. I am on my feet all day as an RN and work a lot outdoors on our 4 acre yard. This shoe has almost all the support of a midweight hiking boot but is low cut. It's much more durable than a sneaker type shoe and holds its shape like a full leather boot. Keep this in your inventory but do consider some new colors.

My husband loves these hiking shoes. We are so surprised and delighted that they are still being made as I just ordered at least his 6th pair in as many years. I don't know what he will do when they are no longer available.

Great shoes so far. A nice change from my usual purchase.

This is one of the few models with: size 11.5w, a wide-enough toebox, and a firm midsole.

Great shoes. I use them mainly at work. The hard runner soles are helpful on ladders, steps, rocky trails etc. great quality. My 2nd pair.

I had a problem with one shoe and you came thru with flying colors

Ive been wearing this shoe for quite a while. Im on my 5th pair. They get quite a bit of use because they are comfortable and have great traction. I also love the waterproofing as the shoe blocks water but still breathes fairly well for a waterproof shoe.

Great hiking shoe with a solid platform and good support. It is an ankle level shoe that allows great flexibility when hiking trails. In addition, I use these for my working shoe. They are lightweight enough to use all day. Finally, the shoes themselves are waterproof, but still have the capability to beath. This is important for all seasons, not just the rainy seasons.

Very well built and lots of arch support.

Bought my 1st pair of Firebrands in 2016 and hiked a volcano in Iceland...I was hooked! 3rd new pair just arrived. 8 years later and still planting trees! These are the most comfortable hiking shoes and offer great support. Waterproofing is fantastic, and I've put that to the test many times. In my opinion, this is the best hiking shoe out there. Can't wait to see where the trails take this new pair!

Very comfortable

Well this is kinda funny, the weekend before I received my order I broke my foot. I havent even been able to try on my new shoes.

These shoes are very rugged, yet very comfortable and light weight. I feel very supported in them. Night and Day difference to the Merrell Moabs that I had previously worn.

My third pair of this shoe. The stability and support this shoe offers is outstanding. I have owned a number of different Oboz models. Without question the Firebrand product is the best shoe not only that Oboz produces but that I have found. They last, look like new when cleaned up. Waterproof, long lasting, and seem to only get better with use. I wear 11.5 Wide and its actually wide unlike many shoes out there. Wish they would make an all black model and a mid.

Great fit, excellent support that belies the low style cut. This is my second pair of these shoes and the quality of both pairs is consistently excellent. Be aware that the sole compound is softer than that found in some shoes, so good grip is achieved but soles do wear quickly as a result. Re-soling of my first pair has extended the life, but how long that will last is unknown, and not many shoe shops would attempt.

Real good shoes. Have good support, can hardly feel stone when walking on them, they fit like a glove right out of the box. Slightly pricey, but worth the money

I couldnt be happier w/ these shoes. They are roomy w/ perfect amount of cushion and the wide toe box is noticeable when wearing, but doesnt stand out visually like other brands. Oboz has it figured out. I will be purchasing another pair, different shoe/boot soon
