This thirty something soccer mom of three loves these rain boots, especially for those wet morning or afternoon days at the soccer field! I am 5 feet tall and a size 7 1/2- 8 shoe, average build. I needed the size 8. I ordered both 7 1/2 and 8. The 7 1/2 was just too narrow at the ankle for me to comfortably get my foot in. The size 8 is not too big. This is a tall rain boot. But again, being on the petite side, it was not to tall. I do need to wear leggings or skinny jeans tucked into the boot as opposed to jeans over-the-top. It's a little bit hard to get the jeans over-the-top because the boots come up so high. The plum purple color is really a nice color. Lots of compliments out at the soccer fields!

Bright red does fit a big snug great looking on the leg. True to size keeps out water. Can easily be wiped clean. I also have Hunter boots which I love but these are just as great and you can buy two for the price of one. Win win.

I love the Kamik Jennifer boot...I have black, brown, grey, blue. I wear them all year round with socks...walk the dogs, hike with the dogs, plant, garden, walk in the creek. They hold up very well, rinse off with the hose. They are just as good or better than the Hunter only much less expensive. Great boot!

After ruining multiple pairs of shoes in the mud I decided I needed to get a pair of rain boots. I almost bought a pair of Hunters, but had issues with the obnoxious badge on the front and the fact they were made in China nagged at my conscience. Not to mention the high price. I came across the Kamik brand and decided to give them a try. I purchased the Jennifer and Olivia in size 8. I am usually a 7.5-8 in most shoes, running shoes I go up to an 8.5. I have fairly high arches, but I guess what you would call a skinny or low volume foot...no high instep here. I have thin ankles but large calves due to running. Mine are probably about 15.5 inches around, so I have an incredibly hard time finding boots that will fit. When I received the boots (the next day! Thanks Zappos!) Both boots were made well and didn't have a bad chemical odor. the rubber was soft and a nice matte shade. I got green in both models. I tried the Olivia first. I preferred that model initially because there was not any "stuff" on the boot other than the side buckle. It didn't work at all. Far too tight in the calf area and hit at an odd spot. I could get them on, but felt my legs getting kind of tingly numb after a bit. Next, the Jennifer. I was sure they would never fit as they do have a contoured leg and looked slim. But they fit! Felt good in the foot, came to right under my knee cap (I am 5'5" tall) and didn't irritate or abrade the backs of my knees when I sat. I was able to tuck skinny jeans in with a little effort. But after walking around for a bit, I got that slight tingly feeling again, both in my feet and legs. It was just ever so slightly too tight. I loved the feeling and look of the boots otherwise so I wondered if a size up might help. So I ordered the Jennifer in a 9 to see. Got them, and I must say it is almost perfect. Gave me just that little extra in the calf. The foot is slightly big, but I slipped an Ugg fleece insole in there and that made it cozy and fit better. I could never have put any sort of insole in the 8, and I actually prefer the feeling of the fleece. I could do without the ugly shield badge on the side, but it isn't a deal breaker. I did have to order my size 9 from another vendor because I was dead set on the green color and unfortunately Zappos didn't have them in stock. I would definitely order from Zappos had they been available. I've now worn these in the garden and to my kids trap meets out in muddy, swampy areas. My feet are warm and dry and I can just hose off the mud. I'm actually like a kid, because I walked through every single mud puddle just cause I could. My teenagers were so embarrassed. Good stuff! I'm also pleased that these boots were made in Canada, it's nice to support my neighbors to the North. They also will take your used boots back for recycling. One note: don't try to drive in these. I found it incredibly hard and could easily see an accident happening. I wear a pair of Birkenstock clogs, then switch out when I need to wear the boots.

Love these boots. I get lots of compliments. I have pretty small calves so they fit but not too roomy.

Bought these together with Hunter's boots to compare and see it all that hype over Hunter's is justified. Verdict: Kamik's boots are so much better and being half-the price of Hunter's, decision was no brainer. And Zappos is the best, as you must already know!

These are my favorite rain boots! The color is perfect. The fitting is just right since I have small legs the calf area always looks too big on me. This are slimming and I always get compliments. Definitely weatherproof too!

Love these boots. Third time's a charm. First ordered the wide calf boots - way too big. Then ordered these Kamik's in gray, based on my husband's input. He thought they were "sexy." I returned for some real color. These blue Kamik's are a perfect fit. I ordered true to size - I'm a size 7, ordered a 7. I can wear these all day in all kinds of mud and rain and my feet are comfy and dry. So nice to replace my heavy duty winter boots with these - very light with great traction, even with the heel - good for walking up and down country hills.

I love these boots! They are a little snug getting on, but fit well! They are contoured to your leg shape vs like a straight up the leg boot where it's wider at the bottom. I like that they are seamless! I've had other boots before and these are nice and the rubber is thick and doesn't seem like they will crack! I use them for lots of muddy gardening work around the yard, so they get used! Worth spending the extra money!

I was looking for a black, rubber rain boot for what felt like forever! I love the simple and sophisticated style of this boot. They are warm and in my opinion, aren't as hard to get on and off as other reviews mentioned. I have worn the boots to the park to play with my daughter and to trudge through rain puddles. My feet stay dry and I stay fashionable at the same time. Traditionally I wear between an 8.5 and 9; depending on the shoe. Since I wanted to wear warmer socks I thought it was best to order the larger size. They fit perfect! I'm so glad I didn't spend double the price for the Hunter boots. I've received so many compliments on these boots and am very happy with my purchase.

These are very cute rain boots. They are comfortable and true to size. Made of heavy rubber these will last forever. They are similar to Hunter but not as expensive. I've worn them with black leggings. It's a cute look for a rainy day.

I am enjoying these rainboots so much. They were a little hard to get on and off at first but get easier each time I wear them. They are very warm and comfortable.

Awesome rainboots. Super comfortable, and are just the right height (I'm between 5'2" and 5'3"). I can't stand short rainboots because the part of my legs right below my knees can still get wet. I like that the material has a matte look, which goes better with work outfits than the shiny plastic material you often see on rainboots. And they're only half the price of Hunter. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 and ordered an 8.

Great boots! Better than my Hunters. The only problem was that I received an 8 instead of a 9. We received a 9 in another color and the fit is fantastic. I highly recommend these boots. The fact that they are half the price is especially nice!

Great shoe! I love my new rain boots! They are super comfy and I can walk around without my feet hurting. They are high and so cute! Best investment!

These are so comfortable that it's silly! Thankfully, I read all the reviews and went for them instead of the ones that cost double. The calf is sort of small though and I'm a bit concerned about what jeans I will be able to stuff into them but I've no problem just cuffing them instead. I'm generally a true 7.5 or an 8 in a couture shoe. The 8 in this is perfect with either a thin or thick sock. The green is actually darker in the real also. I love them!

Strong, durable and great fitting boots. Good for the snow, rain, you name it and Kamik Jennifer can do it. People came up to me and asked where did you get those? They are gorgeous!

Loved the look and quality...so great! Unfortunately, I have really big calves and although they did fit over them (and with my jeans), they were really snug around...was hoping for just a bit of room around the calf. going back.

These boots are great! So happy I got these instead of Hunter brand. Comfy & stylish...just need someone to help me pull off!

You know when something becomes so popular that even though you like it you really don't want to buy it? (Longchamp bags, Converse, anything from Banana Republic...) This was the situation I found myself in with regard to Hunter rain boots. For awhile in my search for the perfect rain boot it seemed like they were the only company to recognize that a long slender calf can bring a touch of sophistication to the playful/functional MO that rain boots already have going for them. Kamik proved me wrong! In addition to the sleek cut, the rubber these are made from is soft and pleasant to the touch, and the color is that blackish-brown that somehow works with just about everything. Love these, now let's just hope they don't start becoming overdone themselves! By the way, I gave them 4 stars for comfort because they're perfectly fine in that department, but I reserve 5 stars for performances that blow me out of the water as these do in both "overall" and "style."

Love these boots! Very comfortable and they look stylish with jeans. Easy to pull over jeans. They stay warm with regular socks on. Good traction. The buckle on the side doesn't do much for tightening, just for looks. Pretty difficult to get off.

I bought Kamik Jennifer in red color. When they first arrived, I excitedly tried them on. I found that they are too hard to get it. I figured I just needed to get use to them. 2 months after, I still have trouble getting them in. Once they are in, they feel quite comfy and feel really nice. I like the stylish look. Don't get me started on getting them off my feet. It is impossible to get them off by myself. I always have to have my husband pulling them off with full force while I hold onto a rail of our stairs with my dear life. It is so dramatic that after wearing them for 3-4 times, I am afraid to wear them again. I read the reviews and nobody seems to have that problem. I wonder if I should order a size larger than my current one. I gave a 3 stars rating for comfort due to this difficulty I have getting them in and out of. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with these. The price is much better than Hunter and the quality, look and feel is almost the same.

Awesome boots they were a gift for my wife's birthday and she loves them. I also have to say they look very cool when she is wearing them. She says they are very comfortable to wear. The metal emblem on the side is very cool looking and attached to the boot very sturdy.

I bought these as a gift. We tried several styles of boots and this one was the clear winner. Very well made, good arch support, no issue with the fit. The styling makes it versatile as well. A plus is that it is recyclable at manufacturer when it is no longer usable.
