Excellent shoe for work. Have purchased several times for work and have been happy with them. Would definitely recommend.

I actually really like wearing these shoes. They look like athletic hiking shoes, are super comfortable, and safe to wear in the workplace. I'm an electrician and really like the ease of getting them on and off. The quick lace system is easy and I just tuck the plastic piece under the lacing after I tighten them up. I can wear these all day-10+ hours and my feet never complain! The size description by others is true as they do run 1/2 size too large but I chose to stick with my size 10 and like the extra little room in the toebox. If you're in the trades, I enthusiastically recommend. I would buy these again.

As a delivery driver my company mandates steel toe safety shoes and these you can't beat. My last pair made it 2 years and I still wear them around home.

These are great shoes! They are relatively cool in comparison to boots. They are much more comfortable than any of the other steel toe shoes that I have worn. These are used for indoor use and I walk about 12-15 miles per day. They are roomy in the toe area, as you would expect with Keen shoes. I did buy a size bigger than I normally would but I attribute that to the steel cap. Oh, they are fairly light as well.

I will be starting a new job and will have to wear steel tipped shoes. I was not happy about this since I have problems with my feet and I was sure steel tipped shoed would be uncomfortable. I was pleasantly surprised when I put these shoes on. The best pair of shoes I have ever owned. I now wear these everyday. I usually put arch supports in my shoes, but did not need them in these shoes. I will absolutely buy these again.

Very comfortable shoe with very little break in period. A little wider than expected. Great grip. Ordered 1/2 size smaller with good results.

I purchased a pair in November 2012, and they are still in fantastic condition. I wear my Keens every day for 10 hours. My job includes occasional warehouse conditions with heavy machinery and pallets of merchandise. I was excited to see that I could get steel toe shoes that would work in multiple job environments. I was doubly excited that Keen offered these since I have worn only Keens for 10 years now. The fit, width and length, were exactly correct for my size (8½).

Looks great, fit is good and I like that the laces tighten easy. I look forward to wearing these at work in the summer as they breath well.

This is the second time we've bought these shoes. They are perfect for my husband as he works as a laborer/contractor/handyman. They are very comfortable & the material holds up very well. On the first pair the shoe laces tore from pulling them (you don't tie these shoes). We called Zappos and they fixed the problem quickly.

Have been working in outdoor rough and uneven surfaces for almost 20 years. Most in hot warm climates. Would be working outside in a very hot desert environment. And I wanted comfortable safety toe shoe. Read the reviews and decided to give them a try. They are perfect! True to fit, no type of break in, good arch support. I'm a size 14 ordered, 14 wide. Fits great. One my little toes would usually rub on most steel toe not these. Ordered my second pair as backup. Keen utility has a hold line of work shoes boots.

Steel toed utility sandals? Ok I have to say they work for me. I hate wearing socks so these shoes totally work for me! Steel toe, light, breathable, what more can I ask for. I had them for about a month now and I love them no socks required. That makes me a happy customer! Thanks Keen and Zappos!

I have to wear steel toes for work. I had a different brand and my feet hurt a lot. I searched the web for the most comfortable steel toes and the Keen brand came up. I'm very happy with this purchase. Very comfortable and my feet love them.

I have bought many steel toe tennis shoes. Everyone of them was uncomfortable. I wear size 12½, so I bought size 13W. I read your reviews and found another happy customer that worked outside with loading luggage in the belly of planes and working outside in heat. All I was looking for was comfort. What I got was unbelievable comfort, excellent gripping soles, the top materials of the shoes never got hot, and easy pull string lace up. I highly recommend these shoes.

Shoes are great. Heavier than I expected but much cooler than the non cool Keen utility shoes I have. Very comfortable from day 1.

Good fit, variable widths. They look like hikers with steel toes so you can go from the street to the construction site with ease. I use them for work, mountain biking, and tactical shooting.

This is my second pair of Keens. I use them when operating heavy equipment and semi-tractor trucks. They are very comfortable for my wider than average feet. The steel toe is larger, which I like. They are good for warm days in Los Angeles when steel toe boots are too much. I am very happy with my Keens.

We have had incredible customer service with Zappos! Keen has great shoes. These are very comfortable shoes. They are light weight even with the steel toes. Would purchase again!

Excellent quality. Well made. Have used for 2 weeks in my position as a "baggage handler" loading planes. Low cut works well with low cut socks - stylish and functional and keeps feet cool. Right toe box felt a little off center such that it rubbed the top of my big toe, issue has disappeared after 2 weeks of wear. Rubber front helps prevent wear while on my knees a lot in airplane bellies throwing and moving bags around. Not waterproof, but doesn't claim to be. Grip is good in dry conditions. Grip is similar in wet conditions. Found it to be slippery on hydraulic oil, transmission oil, and engine oil. Wouldn't recommend for someone constantly exposed to those items requiring stable footing. I'm satisfied with my purchase and would buy another pair.

Luckily my employer pays for my work shoes so I go with the best! This is my second pair. Fit is perfect. Shoe is so well designed and constructed, and looks totally awesome! Hopefully they will never change this model!

My husband loves these. Ran true to size. The weight compared to other steel toe shoes he owns is incredibly light.

Legitimately a wide shoe. Toe box room okay. Length is about right. I like the non-lacing system. I don't do a lot of standing, but comfort is okay. I haven't worn them through hot weather yet, but breathable uppers are okay so far. I don't like extreme arch support, this shoe feels fine.

I don't normally write reviews, but I am so happy with these shoes I thought others should know. It took about 2 days to get full comfort. When I get home from work I feel no need to take them off and change to athletic shoes. I've had them over a month now and they are my go-to shoes for working around the house, hiking, mowing the lawn, etc. I can't say enough good things about them. I usually wear a size 14, because my true size is 13.5 but these fit great in a 13.

Shoes are great. Even though other reviews generally said it was true to size, I still had to exchange to a half size smaller (10) than I normally wear (10.5). However, f the made every show could come in a 10.25, then I'd be set for life :). They took a bit to break in, but now are just as comfortable as any safety shoe I have ever worn.
