I've purchased these boots 3 times - this time they would slide up & down on my heel. Requested assistance to resolve this first time issue. Unfortunately all they offered was a return for credit.

Well they are strong for sure but not very comfortable. Makes it seam like your in high heels the way the back is so high. Could have a thicker insole. Would be nice and to be honest kind of expensive

Just a few hours in these left me with bleeding abrasions on my heels. A lack of padding or poor craftsmanship with the plastic in the boot was cutting me. I tried returning to store they were purchased and they would not allow a refund as I wore them. I then called customer service and explained my experience and was met with the same attitude as the retail store. Customer service will not honor any shoes purchased from any other retailers than KEEN online orders.
These boots are near $200 are in the same price range of companies that honour thier product with out hesitation. Without any support to customers willing to try thier shoes out and become loyal customers KEEN will most certainly fall off the market as bad reviews are not hard to find. These boots have potential and maybe there other boots are free from these problems. I most certainly will never purchase another pair if they don't make it right.

I love the boots!!! Very comfortable. The only problem is the top two clips have broken off in less than 6 months. On both boots.

The good: excellent breathability, great traction in all weather conditions, keeps feet dry, comfortable when climbing rungs/pegs & working on angle iron or round member
The bad: the toe cap isn't wide enough even with the EE width and so my pinky toe gets jammed against the edge of it. Worse than that is that after only 2 months the boot started to separate from the sole. Upside is that ventilation is even more improved and my toe doesn't hurt, but things tend to get wet now that there's a 3 inch gap along the side of my boot.
I wanted to love these based on the experience with my other Keen boots but the construction quality is unacceptable if you work outdoors like I do as a tower climber. There's no excuse for a work boot falling apart this quickly

I destroyed boots in the past. This one looks more like a hiking boot but withstands real world construction. Reminds me of my $600 snowboarding boots they feel so good inside. Great boots.

I have owned 4 pairs of Detroit / Detroit XT. Found Pittsburgh at a great price. Really glad I tried them. They are comfortable and have great traction. Will buy again

This is my second pair of Keen Boots. The First ones were tight and hurt my feet after a few hours of wearing them. (Size 11.5) Also walking downhill scrunches my toes up so it uncomfortable.
So this pair I ordered a size 12. These are more comfortable and keep my toes from scrunching up, but they are BIG. So, I Dunno what the answer is. Guess they just don't work for me. For the price you have to pay, I expected a lot more.
Since they are new, I have no idea how they will last.

Getting these shoes in EE (WIDE) compared to D (Medium), may have been the right call. Normally, the regular kinds I retrieve from the Mall or a retailer division, provides footware to either nestle, caress, or house our soles as the best platform around. For me though, having a custom shoe, adjustable in performace, does an effort whenever walking an extra mile moreso at work. On day 1, there had been no damage whatsoever, and any attempts during work where some slight occasions abrasion happens. By all means, the shoe is tremendous, sturdy for arch support, and absolutely comfortable. What caught my attention largely was how the laces didn't have any holes, only hooks, which can simply unfasten after undoing any tying.
I'd also recommend:
Doc Martens

My feet enjoyed these. Little to no break in period for this pair, toes had appropriate amount of room and the toe cap seemed to cover nicely.

My last pair of these I purchased 2 years ago. They’ve been great but this summer the sole started coming detached from the upper. To be fair, I beat the heck out of them on the farm. I decided to try the Louisville model because I thought I’d get more life out of them but the fit wasn’t nearly as comfortable. I went back to these. At this price and comfort I’ll buy them every 2-3 years. They’re also very warm and dry here in the PAC NW.

Wider than expected, inside and out -- noticeable on foot pedals and clutch of my vehicles -- and therefore, hard to lace tightly, so just ordered lace pullers off Amazon
Lighter that expected, especially with steel toe
Took a risk straying from my tried-n-true Timberland Pros. Anxiously hoping they have a grippier sole than my Timberlands on snow and ice, as I split wood in winter. Will update this winter...

Bought these because I needed EH & Steel Toe Boots for work. I didn't have to break them in. They are, in fact, true to size. These are my second pair of these boots. Comfortable for long hrs days (for myself 10hrs a day 6 times a week). Only down fall is they do not last more than 6 months. I do utility line work so I work in different terrains from concrete, rocks, mud, and etc. Great boot for a little while but well worth it if they lasted more than a year.

2nd pair of these I own. I walk 5-6 miles a day inside an office. This time the right shoe feels smaller than the left. during break-in the heel/liner of right shoe pulled loose within first few days. I like the brand and their looks. string hole and hooks started to wear out on last pair. Overall I like these shoes.
