Comfortable, virtually no break in -- I spend all day on my feet, primarily waking around on concrete floors, and these boots help the days go by easily.

I work in a factory where the floors are super slippery and the conditions are always damp. I have tried several other work boots and none of them held up longer than a few months. Some did not keep the water out, did not breathe so my feet were still soaked from sweat, thread on bottom wore out, or just plain fell apart (soles separating from shoe, etc). I have had these boots for three months now and they are absolutely amazing. Not only are they the best work boot that I have ever owned but probably the best footwear that I have ever had. I do not slide on the floors, my feet are not even wet from the water. They are 100 percent waterproof and yet breath like tennis shoes. Seriously my feet are not even damp from sweat. Buy these boots!

I am an avid hiker. Hikes usually include a 50+ pound backpack on trails that are both rocky and very hilly. Boots of choice have been Montrail Heliums. These boots are truly limousines for the feet, and I thought they were the ultimate for comfort and support. Until now. I recently ordered the Keen Pittsburgh for work. I am a Safety Coordinator in a large manufacturing facility and routinely log 8 to 12 miles of concrete, stairs, ladders, steel walking surfaces; etc per day. Work boots take a pounding as do my feet. These Pittsburghs are my new limos. I will even consider using them on hikes with heavy weight. They are truly much more than I expected when I placed the order. I haven't tested their waterproof effectiveness yet, but if performance in the support, and comfort categories is any indication, they will be totally dry. I'll post a review on that part after our first drenching rain. Thanks Keen for the great boots, and thanks Zappos for getting them to me in 2 days...for free.

First off, I initially ordered the Cleveland in a size 13, but was sent a size 9. Zappos took care of it pronto! Then when the size 13 arrived, the left boot was longer than the right boot, so I had to call back and then just went with the Pittsburgh in a 13. What an excellent boot. I work as a Pipe Foreman in the Oil Fields in Utah, and have worn Ariat Steel Toes for the past 2 years. I liked the Ariats, but over time you just seem to end up stomping around in them. Even with Gel Insoles, they lose comfort and for their price that is unacceptable. So, upon first look at the Pittsburgh, they look great. Soft leather and the soles are thick and sturdy looking. After putting them on the first day, I knew I made the correct choice. The Footbeds in these boots are outstanding. They form around and under your foot. They are lighter than the Ariats, and that's a plus when your working for 14-16 hour days. My feet don't ache at all, and they don't tire out. I can go all day in these boots and then some. I no longer worry about my feet and lower legs aching at the end of a long day. I will buy Keens from now on.

Bought these for my husband who is working out in the elements. He was able to start wearing them the day he got them with no breaking in time! Says they are very comfortable, breathable, and we both wonder why we didn't get these years ago! Great boots and he highly recommends.

My husband has one pair of these already and loves them, so a second pair is bought and he is a happy camper! This boot needs to be 1/2 size smaller than he normally wears in Keen brand.

My brother has been after us for years to order Keen sandals. We finally bought a pair for myself and my husband after seeing them in a shoe store. We are sold. After reading the reviews, I ordered these boots a half size smaller than normal for my husband who has narrow and flat feet. These have worked better than any boot he has ever owned. No break in time required and his feet and knees do not hurt when wearing this steel toe boot. I just ordered another pair of the same boot, different color, so that he will be able to switch out daily. This is the first time for Keen boots and we will be using this brand in the future. We are sold on the brand. Also, Zappos' service can't be beat. We live in the country and usually get our mail a day or so later that everyone else, but not with Zappos! We ordered on Friday, received the order on Monday! Can't beat that!

Very tough boots. I have owned a landscape company for many years and have gone through boots of all makes and descriptions. These are among the best. They look good and take endless punishment.

I am on my third pair of these boots. I have literally walked the soles off of them. the best steel toed boot I have ever had. I am on concrete or asphalt every day, in the AZ heat. The one thing that I have done is wearing a wicking type sock and heavy wool socks every day. Doing this helps so much, my feet don't hurt, they do not sweat near as much as with a cotton sock and adding a slight arch support with gel heel cups, never know you have boots on. I have worn Red Wings, Floreshiem, and whatever else the shoe truck has on them. I just decided that I would buy what I want to wear and split the difference with the boss.

I found that there were not many reviews about this boot. The Keen Utility Pittsburgh is the best built boot for the money that I have found so far. I researched these boots and compared them to many other Keen's and also other brands that are popular on the market. I just want to say that for the money that you will be spending, for the abundant features that they have built into them they are amazing. They cradle your foot like no other boot I have worn. I live on a big farm and my feet take a beating. I also have hammer toes and flat feet which make my feet very hard on boots most do not last past 6 months if I am lucky. They are very lightweight considering they are steel toe. If you are working in any industry in which you will need a steel toe boot, I strongly urge you to give these a shot. Also with the 365 day return policy that Zappos gives you, you really don't have anything to lose. Thank you Zappos for giving such a good return policy and I really like that you have free shipping both ways. Also thank you Keen for making such a quality product at a competitive price. I am impressed and will buy again and again.

Very nice fitting boot. Feels great all the way around. Love the ankle support the most. I stand at work for about 10 hours a day and find these boots to be the most comfortable and supportive of any I've had before. The bonus is that they are great for when I'm riding my motorcycle. With the steel toe, durable construction, great support, and waterproof exterior, these are the perfect mix of utility and comfort. They are literally perfect for whatever you throw at them.

Very comfortable, especially for steel toe boots. Just make sure you wear long enough socks!

I love Keens. I have 6 other pairs from sandals to hiking boots. Love 'em. So when my Timberland steel toe work boots wore out (liked those too) I decided to get the Pittsburgh Boot. They are comfortable right out of the box. Of course, Zappos did their usual awesome job of shipping too! Ordered around 9pm on a Tuesday and they showed up at my door around 4 the next afternoon! How do they do that?

These boots are solid, comfortable work boots. I prefer a hiking boot to a traditional work boot, and the Keen's didn't disappoint. I did need to replace the footbeds with Superfeet, but that's been the case for most of my boots.

Great shoe, lightweight for the type of shoe it is, sizing does not seem to be consistent. The first pair I ordered were too narrow for my feet.
