Really like the boots, good fit, like comfort, on my feet for 12 hours a day.

I work in a very demanding environment in the power plant industry. We do repair jobs working with steel inside the exhaust housing and in most cases we work 7 days a week on 12 hour shifts. A comfortable and very durable shoe is an absolute must. Almost every man (and woman) on most of our crews have purchased this shoe. The simple way your foot rocks into the toe and not the old style of toe coming back into your foot is absolutely genius. Most of the time you don't even know it has a steel tip until something hits it! The trademark rubber cover that is on most Keen shoes is what many people try to copy by gluing on a piece of rubber for durability. These shoes are extremely comfortable, run about a half size small for me, and are very durable all the way around the shoe. If anyone puts a safety shoe through it's most serious real world test, that would be us. And, this boot passed with flying colors. I now own about 12 different types of Keen shoes. They look great, are very comfortable, and I can count on them to be durable and do the task they were intended for. Awesome shoes! All of them!

I have purchased just about every brand of boot there is for 27 years and I will tell you now, these are the absolute best boots I have ever worn. The quality is excellent and they are very comfortable. They are waterproof, and easy to walk in. Unlike other clumsy, awkward and poor quality boots. I will highly recommend these to anyone that needs a utility boot. These are a must buy!

Zappos really rocks! I was looking for a particular color shoe and just Googled it. Up pops Zappos and they have exactly what I wanted. In a couple of days I had my order and the shoes are great. This was such an easy exercise to get what I wanted with total satisfaction! I love Zappos.

This is a great steel toe boot. I could feel the quality immediately when I took them out of the box. I walk and climb over and under equipment all day, every day and these boots are made for the task.

I love these boots! They took a week to break in around the ankle/calf area, but after that they are like walking on pillows. They are so comfortable, I don't mind wearing my steel toed boots to run errands after work.

I wear these boots everyday on concrete, climbing metal stairs, in a production facility. The outside temp in the summer is over 115 our warehouses are not cooled so the temp is well over this. these boots do not rub my feet raw, worn with the right socks, not cotton, I go 12 hours 6 days a week with no foot problems. I would recommend them to anyone.

Best boots I have ever purchased. I wore Doc Marten Grizzly before they started making them in China. Then I wore Timberland Pro's, both were the worst boots I ever bought. But these Keen Pittsburgh's are the real deal. Tough and comfortable boot. I added a double air pillow insole for extra cushion and an arch support to help the pain in my lower back. Let me tell you it feels like I'm walking on nothing. No foot pain, no back pain, no blisters, and they fit perfect. I will buy another pair of these again. I've had mine for two months and don't have a scuff, scratch, of tear on them. These are going to last me a long time. I will buy another pair again.

These boots are a great, I've had problems with fascia. I've tried red wing with the foot form insert and it did not help, foot doc want 600 dollars for inserts (no way). After see these and reading other reviews I thought I would try them. When you first put them on you will know a difference right a way, the padding and the support are top notch. I couldn't wait to try them at work. After the first day at work all day standing I noticed my fascia was not acting up and has been getting better with each day of use. I plan to get another pair of these to trade off with. Zappos was great to buy from and i received my boot order with in 2 days. I found these boots to fit true to size.

I have to wear steel toe boots for work, an these buy far are the best. I'm know longer a Rocky customer.

Great boots. They have been comfortable since day one. After 1 month on the job, couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you are on your feet 8-10 hours a day on a construction site like I am, you get what you pay for and this boot delivers. Easily the best work boot I have owned. I will no doubt by another pair of Keen work boots.

These steel toes are great! They are lightweight and super comfortable. I stand on ice for up to 14 hours a day, and these shoes have kept my feet very warm. (This is a major feat.) The only downside is that there isn't any ventilation. But I'm willing to sacrifice that for the outstanding comfort, water-proofing, and safety factor. I'm so glad Keen finally came out with steel toes! They are absolutely worth the money.

I've had these boots for just about 3 weeks and I really do like them a lot. I wear them to work where I am on my feet for 12 hours straight and it took about a week to break them in but they are very comfortable and light weight. I had made a mistake and tried a different brand of boots of which they did not last very long before they actually broke. In deciding on a new pair I took into consideration that I have several pairs of Keen shoes and never had any problems with them at all so I decided to get these Keen boots. Overall great boots!

Excellent fit out of the box, feels like no break in required. Will purchase more Keen products in the future. I had recently purchased a pair of Ecco brand; these hands down fit better than the Ecco.

The boot is beefy as all hell. It is the humvee of humvees. The only downside I believe is the break in period. The sole is a bit stiff so once the heel portion has worn away, it will match my gait well. Overall comfort after this I believe will be fantastic. For standing 5/5, for walking (at the moment) 3/5.

These are the most comfortable steel toe boots I've ever worn! Lightweight (for a steel toe) and not hot at all. However, the soles have not held up all that well to what I've put them through. I install billboards and spend a lot of time on steel mesh catwalks. I've yet to find a pair of boots that last more than a year under these conditions. That being said, they are a great pair of boots and would probably last quite a bit longer under normal conditions. They're so comfortable I'm wearing them now, and I quit the job that required steel toes 4 months ago!

I work as a field geologist all over the world. I've found these boots to be very comfortable, but they are wearing out rapidly. The tread is wearing out fast and the sole is starting to delaminate from the upper. I've had them since April 2011, so less than a year. Stoked about the comfort, bummed about the durability.

Great steel toe boot. I am a contractor so the boot get hard use every day. The lace system is great, have not had to fuss with laces at all during a work day. The sole is great on mud, it is a hard sole, should last a long time, but its not at all grippy on snow and ice as a softer sole would be. The foot bed is very stiff as is the ankel support. The weight is very low for a steel toe and the look is great. The complaints would be the insole is hard, this is in need of an upgrade, the interior of the boot is good but the heal section is a bit stiff and abrasive. Otherwise a great boot.

Very comfortable out of the box and the boot seemed very durable. But after a couple of months of wear the speed lace eyelets have started to break off the upper of the boot. Not the end of the world, but it makes it hard to get them tight enough now.

I have worn these boots every day for over a year. They were extremely comfortable right out of the box. I have wide feet, and these fit perfectly. The only complaint that I have is after a year of everyday wear the left sole broke in half. I would expect this from a lower quality or lower cost boot, but at this price point they should last more than 13 months. Good boot, too expensive for its life expectancy. I will probably spend the money on a pair of custom built Wescos. They will last.

Was great overall, will buy again

Confortable and cozy 10-12 hrs shifts 4 days a week without a problem. Keen is my top 3 picks for work shoes/boots is worth the investment when the investment is bringing in income without sore feet.

I am a fan of Keen work boots, but these boots outshine the others I have owned. I wear a 13 EE, and these boots are made in my size. The footbed has a more ergonomic design than any other Keen boot I’ve owned. The toe cap is also more naturally shaped. I am 58, and I am a commercial HVACR mechanic. I’m hard on my feet and my boots. This model boot is hands down the most comfortable boot I have ever owner, straight out of the box. They are a pleasure to wear, and are very well made.

These boots are super heavy duty. The extra width are so comfortable if you have a wide foot. I've used these boots for fishing, snow, and working in the mud. They're my favorite heavy duty work boot that fit my foot perfectly. They are heavy and warm though so while your feet will be protected, they'll get warm in the summer.
