They pinch my feet and are heavy as all get up don’t like them at all thought I was getting a more hiking shoe but guess not that’s what happens when you can’t feel or look at the shoe before hand

I ordered a pair of these in a size 11.5 Wide. Got a pair that was the wrong size and contacted customer service. They issued a return label and we’re supposed to send the correct size in exchange. Two days later I received the same exact size after speaking with them in regards to the initial error they’d made by sending the wrong size. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCIA!!!!

If you work in construction do NOT buy these boots. Have only had them for 4 months and the tongue, laces, and stitching have completely fallen apart. The sole is also starting to come off around the outside of the boot. Will be needing to buy new boots very soon.

The boots feel great on my feet. I have no complaints about the fit or style. However these are some of the least durable boots I've ever owned. Soles began falling apart within 10 days. The toe cap completely fell off. I did not even get an entire year out them, which is something one would expect from a boot of this price.

I have enjoyed Keen shoes for many years. I bought these for a job I start next week. I will be working 12 hour days on concrete. I have worn them this week for 3 hours at a time standing on a rubber mat at my current job. My feet ache and my knees are hurting. I didn't have any problems before I wore these shoes. I will not have a rubber mat at my new job, but will be doing a lot of walking on concrete.

The only thing worse than the heel damage caused by these boots to me, was the automation dissonant service at the keen 1-800 line. Keen lost a loyal, vocal and INJURED customer. Their indifference to what is a very necessary and very minor fix to the exposed oversized inner back seam of the boot is reprehensible. I specifically purchased these 'wide' boots for sizing and under foot support. Hiking above 10,000 in the wilderness requires it. As such, heel movement occurs as they break in, in the 'extreme' environment I need these boots for. I'm certain they are fine for flatland farmers and in and out of the car. My dissonance is with the arrogant corporate attitude of the experience I had with a fully disconcerted keen employee. Replies like (and I quote this representative of the company) " we in customer service don't intimately expose our selves to the product", and " our product development people don't interface with the consumer" tell me as a dually degreed experienced business executive of 40 years that keen is not a company to buy products from. Because my Keen sandals are the best footwear I have owned I wanted 1. to have keen hiking boots and 2. I wanted to help resolve a very fixable issue as I was a loyal customer. I hit a wall. KEEN IS A FOUR LETTER WORD TO ME NOW. My experience was saved by Brittany of Zappos. We did 2 hours of due diligence and I LOVE MY VASQUE BITTEROOTS! THANK YOU BRITTANY.

After 15 months of ownership (and perhaps 80 days of use) the soles of these boots dramatically failed under the ball of the foot. One boot has cracked all the way through to the footbed and the other is about halfway through. The cracks start at the same place in the molding, so I'm inclined to believe that it is a design flaw. The boots were comfortable up until this point - so I am tempted to try a different pair of Keen steel toes. Zappos has gone above and beyond to help out, and I am waiting to see how Keen handles this extended warranty claim. Time to learn if Keen's approach to customer service is on par with the amazing Zappos example!
